Losing a battle of Cirrhosis, Katy Louis knew her time was running out. She never expected her life to be cut so short, but that's what happens for being an alcoholic so young. She didn't spend her days cooped up in her apartment like the old her would. Instead, she spent it as well as anyone could with a chronic illness. The one thing she had told herself when she was diagnosed was that she would not fall in love, or have someone fall in love with her.

But promises aren't always kept.
