I watched cinderella (the one in cinemas) again today

i just feel really happy and carefree now

and quite inspired

so i wanna share it with you

so this is gonna sound really cheesy, but the movie is really moving, i don't know if it's just me. ella saw the world "not as it was, but as it could be, with kindness, and love, and just a little bit of magic."

in today's day and age, we're stressed over all kinds of things, which if you really think about it, don't matter. worried about failing that maths test? it's not going to loom like a dark shadow over you for the rest of your life. got so much school work that you feel like dying? that schoolwork and knowledge could save your or someone else's life one day. heck, even worried that you haven't updated your story on wattpad in 19 days? there's no deadline for you to finish.

im not afraid anymore. of anything.

i was scared of the dark, and of viillians from horror movies, but then i realised.

i have done nothing to cause a brutal murder to take place at my house. there is nothing in the dark that can harm me, because i let nothing in the dark in the first place.

sometimes all we focus on is the negative. but if we look at the world, as it could be, rather than what it is, maybe, our lives could be that little bit more, magical.

so wake up everyday and embrace it. for me, it's 9:51 pm right now and tomorrow is the 17th of April 2015. i know now that i will never get the 17th of April 2015 again after it is over. i'll never get the chance to get up off the couch in the tv room on the 17th of April after i didn't.

cinderella believed until it broke her. thats when the magic she believed in her entire life blessed her with glass slippers, a handsome prince, first love, and a night she'd never forget.

ok, so i know that getting a pumpkin turned into a coach, lizards turned to footmen and dropping a singular sized glass slipper at a palace is a little bit of a stretch, but there are things in our world that are free, that are magical.

so take that chance, dive into the deep end, and always, see the world, not as it is, but as it could be, with kindness, and love, and just that little bit of magic.
