The two boys were rudely awakened by an alarm. They started to wiggle around and stretched. While Jungkook stretched he whacked his hand into Tae's face.

"Ouch!" Tae said pouting.
"Omg I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to hit you, Are you okay?" Jungkook frantically asked.
"It's okay, you don't need to worry. I was only joking, It didn't actually hurt." Tae said laughing childishly.

Tae then grabbed Jungkook and pulled him into his stomach. Tae restedhis face into Jungkook's nape.
"You ready to go to school today?" Tae mumbled softly.
"No I never am" Jungkook groaned.
"Shh don't worry, I'm going to be with you every step of the way okay. The only lesson we don't have together is 3&4 period. So I will take you to your class and then meet you next to the lockers,Okay?" Tae said warmly.

"Oh...oh okay. T-thank you" Jungkook turned around and looked into Tae's eyes.
"Awe no problem Kookie, I'm going to go and get washed. I will meet you downstairs"
"Okay Taetae, I'll do the same" Jungkook stretched one more time and rolled out of bed. Jungkook got up and walked to his new bathroom. He took a look at himself.
"Not today, do it for Tae"
He then took his clothes off and got straight into the shower. He winced every now and then due to some of his previous cuts. Soon after he jumps out the shower and goes to his walk in wardrobe.

He picked a graphic t-shirt. With a long black and white stripped shirt which goes underneath. With black ripped jeans.

Once he was finished with that he ran down stairs and saw that Tae was still upstairs. He grabbed some eggs and bacon and fried them on the pan. He put toast in the toaster and waited for them to cook. Once they were done he platted them up. He placed them on the table when he finally heard Tae jumping down the stairs.

"what smells so good? Kookie did you make breakfast?"
"I may have made us breakfast, I thought it was the least I could do"
"Awe you're so sweet, thank you Kookie"
"No problem Taehyungie. Now eat up before it gets cold" Jungkook smiled.
The boys sat down and they tucked into their food.
"This is amazing" Tae excitedly said.
"Thank you" Jungkook beamed happily.

When the boys were finished they placed their things in the dish washer and they ran upstairs to grab their school bags.

Tae ran back down the stairs with Jungkook closely following. They ran into the kitchen. Tae bolted to the fridge and brought out two brown lunch bags. 1 with the name Tae on it and the other with Kookie on it. Tae handed the bag with Kookie on it to Jungkook. Jungkook took it and looked inside. There was lots of variety of food in the bag.

"Your lunch Kookie! I couldn't make you miss out on your lunch. You need to eat"
"Oh...thank you Taetae. That's very thoughtful of you" Jungkook said as he placed it in his bag, leaving Tae with a massive smile across his face.

10 minutes later they finished getting ready and made their way to school. They went the back way so they didn't have to walk past Jungkook's old house. 

Not long later they finally made it to school. They got closer and closer to the gates. Jungkook stops abruptly. Tae hadn't realised and he carried on walking.

"So yeh what do you think Kookie?"
...
"Jungkook?"
...
"Wait jungkook where are you?"

He hears very familiar sniffles from behind him. He turned around to see Jungkook crouched in a ball crying. 

"Oh Jungkookie it's okay. Don't be scared. I'm here for you. I won't be letting you out of my sight. Look at me"

Jungkook slowly looked up at Tae in the eyes.

" I promise I will protect you"

Jungkook just nodded. Tae carefully gets Jungkook to stand up. He takes hold of  Jungkook's hand and they walk into school. The bell goes... first lesson is Maths.

They walked in together. They have assigned seats but Tae made a promise so he walked up to the teacher...

" Hello sir, sorry to bother you but is it okay if I swap seats with Bambam?"
"Why is that Mr Kim?"
"Because I need to look after J... because I can't see the board clearly"
"Oh okay yeh sure"
"Thanks sir"

"Right Bambam I want you to swap seats with Tae, so Tae go sit next to Jungkook and Bambam go sit next to Lisa"
"What why?" Bambam shouted angrily.
"Just do it Bambam" The teacher called.

Tae walked over to the seat and sat down. He turned his head to Jungkook and smiled. Jungkook returned the smile. Bambam however was watching them like a hawk. Was Bambam jealous? Who was he jealous of Tae? Or Jungkook?

Maths dragged on like always but it finally came to an end the bell went and signalled break.

Tae and Jungkook stood up. Jungkook started to tremble a bit. He was scared. Although he was gone a day. A day can be made up with a lot of beatings. The two watched Bambam stare at the boys as he walked out. Tae noticed that Jungkook had shuffled a bit closer to him. So out of no where he grabbed Jungkook's hand and intwined them together.

"You're safe. I'm not going to let you out of my sight. Just stay close. We can go to the field so we are out of the way." Tae smiled.
"Thank you ...T...Taetae!" Jungkook stuttered nervously.
"Anything for my Kookie" Tae replied softly.

They finally got out of the class room and walk down the corridor, hand intwined. They were fine until Jungkook heard people mumbling...

"What is that rat doing with Taehyung?"
"Jungkook is so fat. Like I'm surprised Tae isn't being squished"
"I always new Jungkook was a slut, look at him"
"He's an actual faggot, I bet he pleads for Taehyung to look after him. I bet Tae actually hates him"
"He shouldn't be here. He's wasting Tae's time"

More and more people discussed it... but there was one comment made which made Jungkook crack.

'I'm not surprised his Eomma left him. If I was his mother I would of killed myself straight away. He's a piece of shit who doesn't deserve anything" That was shouted across the corridor by the one and only Bambam.

Jungkook heard the comment. Tae heard the comment. Everyone heard that horrible comment.

Tae looked over his shoulder and saw Jungkook crying. Tears rolled down his cheek... quicker and quicker. As if his eyes were a storm cloud. Jungkook ran. He ran as fast as he could. Lucky for Jungkook he was a quick runner. He didn't know where he was going but he had to leave the school.

"I hate myself. Tae hates me... HE HATES ME" Jungkook cried.

But little did Jungkook know that Tae was racing behind him.

All of a sudden Jungkook crashed to the middle of the pavement. He fell onto his knees and curled into a mushroom shape.

Tae saw him crash on to the floor. He sprung into action. He ran to Jungkook, quickly bending down and grabbed Jungkook by the waist. He pulled Jungkook up in his lap. Jungkook looked up. He wrapped his legs around Tae's body and his arms under Tae's arms.

He crashed his head on to Tae's shoulder and cried. Tae rubbed his back and head. He didn't care that they were on the pavement. Tae didn't care that everyone could see. He cared about Jungkook and that was all that mattered. It was like the whole world around them had stopped and just froze.

Soon later Jungkook had calmed down. He was still crying but not as hard. Tae knew they had to move because it was getting really cold. So with all the strength he had. He stood up with Jungkook still clinging onto him as tight as ever. But it wasn't hard at all because Jungkook is so light it felt like he was picking up a cat.
There was no way Tae was taking him back to school so Tae carried him home.

They both managed to get home safely. Tae was still carrying a sobbing Kookie. So he walked up the stairs and took him to Jungkook's room. He carefully laid him down on the bed. He picked up his blanket and laid it over him. He grabbed Jungkook's rabbit teddy and gave it to Jungkook for him to snuggle with. He then walked over to the windows and shut the curtains. After that he walked over to Jungkook and sat next to him. Jungkook snuggled on his lap and Tae fiddled with Jungkook's hair.

"Kookie, I would never leave you. You're definitely not fat you're far from it. You're certainly not ugly and you're not a waste of space. You mean everything to me Kookie. Please don't listen to what they say. Because it's all lies. Now wipe those tears away. Do you want to watch a film?" Jungkook nodded gently.

"Okay let me find a film. What about James Bond?"

Jungkook shakes his head.

"Okay what about Despicable Me?" Tae questioned with a cheeky smile.

Jungkook nodded with a smile planted on his face.

Tae pressed play and the two boys snuggle into each other, loving each other's presence.

That was all going well until a big storm hit them...
