Clockwork: Why do I bother

Me: WHY THE HECK ARE YOU STILL HERE?!?!

Clockwork: That last chapter was boring, I want to see some action and drama

Me: Ugh, you can be so annoying

Clockwork: You're only figuring this out now?

Me: *rolls eyes* Anyways, I know the last chapter was a little boring

Clockwork: Ha!

Me: *glares at Clockwork* So I hope this one is better. Enjoy while I try to finally kick Clockwork out.

Clockwork: Good luck with that

Clockwork's POV

We arrived at my tower within 20 minutes of leaving Queen Dorathea's castle. The ride there had been silent.

Sam stopped the Specter Speeder just outside my door. She opened the door of the Speeder and we all climbed out. I shifted into my small 'toddler' form as I opened the doors and lead everyone inside.

My companions and myself headed back into my library and took our seats in front of the fireplace. "So now that we have an army, we just need a plan," Jazz said as she took her seat in the middle of the couch with Sam and Tucker sitting on either side of her.

It amazed me how relaxed they all were about this ordeal. I had expected them to demand we attacked immediately, but instead there were being very mature.

"Correct," I said to Jazz as I waved my staff over the glass table. A 3D image of Phantom's Keep appeared as it hovered above the table. "Wait," Fright Knight said just as I began to speak.

We all turned to face him, "Should we not call on our other allies? They would be most helpful in creating a battle plan."

Slowly I nodded, "That is an excellent idea Fright Knight, but not tonight." I turned to Danny's friends, "You should all go home and rest, we have a big day tomorrow."

They looked shocked, "No way!" Sam cried. Tucker nodded, "Yeah, we still have to plan and Danny-"  "Danny will not be able to be helped if you are all asleep on the battle field," I interrupted.

The three fell silent. "If we are to succeed you all need to be at your best. You're parents must be worried about your whereabouts anyways," I told them, "Have no fear, I will summon you all tomorrow before the planning begins."

They all frowned but said nothing. I stood up and began to float out of the library with my four companions following after me. We reached my main room I turned to the trio, "I will provide you with a portal that will take you directly to the Fenton Portal."

They nodded and headed to the doors. To my surprise, Fright Knight was following them. He was invisible so Danny's friends did not notice him climb into the Specter Speeder with them.

I said nothing as the engine started. I conjured a portal and the Speeder flew through it. Once the portal closed I shifted into my elder form and floated upwards. I phased into my chamber and stared at the broken pieces of glass on the floor.

With a wave of my staff the pieces joined together and my viewing screen was repaired. The last image it had shown was frozen on the screen. Vizier with his hand on Danny's shoulder, his face taunting me with it's evil smirk.

I wanted to smash the screen all over again, and I almost did. My staff was clutched tightly in my hand. Vizier had picked at old wounds, wounds that I had not fully healed from.

That was the problem with Vizier, he may have a pocketwatch that can see the future but he is stuck in the past. And as with all timelines I would make sure the past slowly fades away.

But this time I would do it permanently.
