A/N: Hello peoples, to avoid the wrath of the oncoming mob

*mob sounds in the distance*

Me: Yikes! I am going to give you one more chapter before I leave for a few days. Hope you guys like it. *runs away*

Danny's POV

We arrived at the giant white entrance doors of the castle. The two large doors opened automatically for us and we floated through the main entrance hall. "So what did Clockwork need me for?" I asked as I transformed into my Ghost Prince form.

"He said there was an emergency that required your attendance," Fright Knight replied.

"Anything specific?" I questioned. Fright Knight shook his head and I sighed,"Of course."

We arrived at the doors to the ballroom. I was confused, was there another 'earthquake'. The doors opened and the entire room was dark. Fright Knight escorted me in and the lights slammed on. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" hundreds of voices cried out in unison.

I jumped 10 feet in the air and hovered there as I took in the scene. The ballroom walls and ceiling were decorated with green streamers and green, white, and black balloon bouquets. Tables were placed around the room and were filled with all sorts of food and desserts. There was a stage at the back of the room covered in equipment for a show.

I slowly floated back down and started noticing the guests. Frostbite and the people of the Far Frozen, Pandora (who had shrunk her size a bit to fit into the ballroom), Queen Dora, Johnny 13, Kitty, Ghost Writer, Sidney Poindexter, Ember and a lot of the castle's staff.

Once my feet touched the ground I was tackled two blurs, one green and one black and white. I landed on my back laughing, "Oof! Good to see you guys too." Cujo happily licked my face in his puppy form while Danni gave me a bone crushing hug, "Happy Birthday cuz," she said.

I sat up and returned the hug. Once we separated Fright Knight helped me back onto my feet, "What is all this?" I asked.

"It is a celebration, oh Great One," Frostbite said as he walked over and lead me into the party.

"This is amazing, so you all know?" I asked.

"Yes, the ones at this celebration are some of the few who know," the giant yeti replied. I looked around, it was nice to see my all my friends here and my former enemies here.

Poindexter and I had worked out our differences after the whole 'body switching' incident and we were on relatively good terms, Ghost Writer and I had forgiven each other for the Christmas episode and I had even helped him out with his books by sneaking them into some human libraries which he was happy to learn that they were a hit, Johnny 13 was my cellmate once in Walker's prison and we became good friends, I sometimes went over to his lair and hung out with him and Kitty.

But why was Ember here? As Frostbite and I walked around I bumped into Clockwork.

"Clockwork! What is all this!" I asked.

"Your birthday party Danny, was that not clear?" Clockwork joked.

I smiled, "No I got that but why?"

"Can't an old spirit do something nice every now and then?" Clockwork said as he shifted to his toddler form.

"Did Fright Knight know?" I asked.

"Yes and so did a few others," Clockwork replied as Sam, Tucker and Jazz revealed themselves.

Jazz was dressed in a single strap short blue dress and had her hair in a ponytail with a bit of makeup on her face. Sam had a floor-length black dress with lace sleeves and her hair was done in a fashion similar to when she went to the dance at school. Tucker wore a simple suit with a yellow shirt and tie and he still wore his red beret.

"You guys too?!" I cried out and they laughed.

I continued walking around the party and said hello to Poindexter and Ghost Writer, fist bumped Johnny and got a little kiss on the cheek from Kitty, greeted Pandora who gave me a tight four armed hug (Clockwork was like a father to me and Pandora was like a mother to me), said hi to many of the Far Frozen people who I think were still cautious of my ice powers, and greeted Queen Dora who had congratulated me on my new title and hoped our kingdoms would become allies to which I replied 'Of course'.

I was still walking through the party with my friends and walked right into... Walker. I scrambled backwards as Walker laughed. "The look on your face... PRICELESS!" Walker said as he bent over in laughter.

I rolled my eyes, "Ha ha very funny, good to see you too Amorpho."

Walker shapeshifted back into Amorpho, "Aw, where's your sense of humour? Don't tell me this whole Prince business has made you lose your sense of fun?"

I shook my head, "It's still there, don't worry," I said as I walked away, only to be tackled by a huge black ball of fur.

"Amiko!" Wulf shouted happily.

I laughed as Wulf lifted me off the ground and gave me a tight hug, "Good to see you too Wulf." Wulf let me go and I dropped back onto the floor.

"Mind if I interrupt?" a voice questioned. I turned and saw the flaming blue hair of Ember, "How's it hanging Baby Pop?"

"Um, good I guess?" I replied. Ember had a look of realization cross her face, "Oh, you're probably wondering why I'm here and why I'm not beating you up right now." I nodded.

"Well you see I kinda got tired of all our fighting, just didn't seem to have the original spark anymore. So when I heard you were the next Prince and that there was a party happening at your new crib, I thought 'Hey, this party's gonna need some tunes' so here I am." the pop star explained.

I was surprised, "Wow, um thanks Ember."

"Yeah yeah, but just for the record you're still a dipstick to me. Oh and nice new duds," she said giving me a sly smile before ducking off into the crowd.

"What was that all about?" Jazz asked. I shrugged and we continued walking around.

At some point Tucker had wandered off to a nearby dessert table and Jazz became engrossed in a conversation with Ghost Writer, leaving just Sam and me.

"So? Do you like it?" Same asked.

"Hmm?" I replied.

Sam groaned, "The party doofus."

I rubbed the back of my neck and laughed, "Oh yeah, it's amazing. Makes this whole Prince thing seem not so bad."

Ember was on stage playing her music when all of a sudden the lights dimmed and a slow song came on. I grinned and bowed dramatically to Sam, making sure to make a big show of sweeping my cape behind me, "Oh dearest Lady Samantha, might you honour me with this dance?" Sam mock gasped, "Why Prince Phantom, I would be delighted."

We walked onto the dance floor and she placed her left hand in my right and her right hand on my shoulder. I placed my left hand in the middle of her back and we began swaying to the music. We danced for what felt like eternity, not speaking, just staring into eachother's eyes as I twirled her around the dance floor, my cape flowing around us like a barrier.

Before I knew it the song was over and the normal upbeat music resumed. Sam and I just stood there, still locked in our dancing pose. We quickly broke apart and Sam punched me lightly in the shoulder, "That's for calling me Samantha," she said jokingly. I laughed as I rubbed my shoulder.

Someone tapped my other shoulder. I turned and saw Danni. "Hey there cuz, what's up?" I asked.

"Fright Knight and I were talking and he said something about you needing to choose a successor/heir at your coronation," Danni said. I rubbed the back of my neck, Clockwork had told me about that the first week I found out I was the new Prince, "Yeah, what about it?" I asked.

"Can you not choose me?" she asked.

I was shocked, I had been planning on naming Danni my successor/heir but now... "Why?" I asked nicely. "I don't think I'm royalty material. Plus I still wanna see the world. I'll come and visit of course, you won't be able to keep me away. But please don't choose me," Danni told me.

I smiled and nodded, "I would never make you do anything you didn't want to cuz." Danni smiled and gave me a big hug before flying off.

Sam put her hand on my shoulder, "You were going to choose her weren't you?" Sam asked. I nodded, "I don't have any other choices. If Danni doesn't want me to, I won't force the burden on her. Looks like I have some thinking to do for the next few days."

Sam and I continued to walk around until Sam got into a conversation with Kitty, leaving me all alone. I wandered around saying the occasional hello to the guests or the staff when I bumped into someone who quickly began muttering apologies. I looked down to see who I had bumped into and it was Talia!

"Talia! No need to apologize, it was my fault I should have been watching where I was going. How are you?" I said.

Talia looked up at me and smiled, "I am well sire."

"I thought I told you to call me Danny?" I joked and she giggled. "Apologies my Pri-, Danny," she said.

Ember began playing a different song and I offered my hand to Talia, "May I ask for this dance?" I asked her. She blushed and giggled as she nodded and placed her small hand in mine. We walked to the dance floor and began to dance. I twirled her around and dipped her as she laughed. I was laughing too, and as the song ended I lifted her up in the air and spun her around before placing her back on the floor.

"Thank you for the dance Danny, it was a lot of fun," Talia said, still smiling.

"You're very welcome, I had fun too," I said as she scurried off. Someone placed their hand on my shoulder, it was Clockwork. He was in his middle aged form and smiling, "I assume you are enjoying the party?" I nodded and smiled back at him, "I still can't believe you did this all for me."

Clockwork looked a little sad as he said, "I wanted to... make up for the way I treated you the other day. I was very stressed and did not mean to take it out on you." My expression softened, "It's ok, I can't begin to imagine the things you go through every day." Clockwork smiled and patted my shoulder, "Happy Birthday Danny." With that he flew off.

Suddenly Ember started playing 'Happy Birthday' and everyone was singing along as a massive cake was wheeled into the room. It had 7 tiers and was covered in white frosting. There were black and green designs iced into the cake and 15 candles rested at the top. Jazz, Tucker, and Sam found me in the crowd and pulled me towards the cake.

Once the song was over I flew up and blew out the candles as everyone cheered and clapped. The cake was cut and served to all the guests and I made sure all of the staff got a piece too. As I grabbed a piece of cake for myself, my arm was grabbed. "Danny, c'mon. Get in here," Sam said as she pulled me in front of a camera. I smiled as the camera flash blinded me. I blinked away spots as I was shown the picture.

It was Sam, Tucker, Jazz and I. We were all smiling. I looked a little ridiculous with my semi-surprised smiling face and plate of cake. Soon after that, everyone wanted pictures. I took one with Frostbite and the Far Frozen people using my ice powers as they pretended to be afraid, one with Pandora and a plate of cake, one with Johnny and his shadow (and one with Kitty giving me a little kiss), one with Ember as we rocked out with guitars, one with Ghost Writer writing in a book as I pretended to run away in fear, one with Sidney Poindexter and a mirror, one with Wulf and Cujo as I sat on Wulf's shoulders with Cujo sitting on my head in his puppy form, and one with Queen Dora as we shook hands symbolizing our alliance. I even took one with Clockwork and Fright Knight on either side of me and miraculously, Clockwork was smiling in it (I can only assume Fright Knight was smiling too since I can't see his face).

But my favourite picture had to be the last one. I stood in the center in my Ghost Prince clothes with Sam, Tucker and Jazz around me with Jazz and Sam holding my arms. Danni hovered above my head and Clockwork and Fright Knight stood on either side of me with Clockwork's hand on my shoulder. Queen Dora and Pandora stood beside Fright Knight and Frostbite and the people of the Far Frozen stood beside Clockwork. Johnny 13, Kitty, and Ember all stood behind me, their heads poking out on either side of my head and Embers head resting on top of mine. Wulf and Cujo were on the ground in front of me and Ghost Write and Sidney Poindexter were hovering near Frostbite and his people. And finally I had gotten the castle staff to be in the photo with Talia floating close to me. Some stood and some hovered but they were all in it.

All the people who made me... well, me, were all in this picture. As the camera flashed and took the picture I had a realization. These people are my family, even the ones who I had considered enemies at one point. Heck even my current enemies are my family. They all make me who I am and I couldn't live without them, no matter what Vizier said.

A/N: Hoo boy, over 2000 words. I know this is really long and I congratulate all of you who have the strength to still read this. I hope you enjoyed this chapter (it took me all day to write this so you better like it lol). So hopefully this will keep the mob occupied while I don't update for a few days.

*angry mob sounds in distance*

Me: AW COME ON!!! I'VE BEEN WORKING ON THIS SINCE 10 IN THE MORNING! Anyways, hope you enjoyed this chapter, I sure did, and I'll see you all in the next chapter. BYE! *runs away*
