After the death of her father, Ryoko, who believes Zuko, her best friend and almost boyfriend, let him die, sets off to help the Avatar and friends with learning the elements. Now a traitor and enemy to the fire nation, with nothing but her emotions and memories of those she loved holding her back, Ryoko must learn to take on the role given to her by Fang, Avatar Roku's animal guide. With her friends from the fire nation hunting her and her new friends down, and her own hunt for the truth of her destiny, Ryoko has never felt more conflicted on who she is and who she is meant to be.
