Years has been passed after that dreadful incident I have determined myself to kill my mother's culprit with my own hands . No one were able to trace the attacker for some reason .For that I have trained myself these many years and now my father want me to take up the throne for what ever reason it is.

"Putr, I have been keeping this away from you and jay since years but I think time has come for you to know" pitashree said making me frown what? what's going on?

"It's a 300 year old curse which is upon our family putr that every male is going to die before their forties. Now my time is coming to leave this world putr. This is the reason I asked you to take up the duties as crown prince." He finished making my brain wheels stop. "What?" was the only thing that left my mouth.

After revealing everything to karn Chandra just sighed. "Think about it putr and inform me what ever your decision is by tomorrow" saying so he just patted his back a bit. Karn was aimlessly walking in the corridors of the palace . Everything was so much for him to digest. On his way he stumbled upon Iravathi's room.

He knew in this kind of situation only his step mother can help him . "Can I come in mata?" he asked her. "Putr no need to ask any permission just come in" she said making him move in.

"so, what did your father had to tell u?" she said moving towards karn. "You knew right? you knew everything from the beginning!" He said making her frown. "What are you taking about Radhey? say it to me clearly putr" she asked him.

"You knew everything about the curse thing and haven't told me or jay about anything. These many years you have kept it hidden from both of us" he asked her blankly. No emotion was reflecting on his face, she tried to read his face but she knew he was ace when it came to hiding his emotions.

"We didn't want to ruin your childhood by making you meet the harsh reality putr. we really wanted to say about it before but death of your mother had made a large impact on all of our lives. We are sorry putr, I am sorry for keeping it hidden from you" she said cupping his cheeks.

"what ever we did was for your both happiness. and we are not regretting it. But first now tell me what did your father told you" she asked to divert his attention from it for a bit. "He wanted me to take the position of crown prince" he said making her nod understanding the situation.

"Now tell me what you want to do?" she asked him "Mata all these years I just have waited for the opportunity to kill that bastard who is the reason that today my mother is not with us. For that I have trained myself accepted everything that came in my way. Suddenly I am expected to forget my revenge and look after the kingdom. What should I do mata? you have always given suggestions to pitashree right when he is in trouble now can you please suggest me something" he pleaded sitting on her bed burying his head in his knees.

Ira slowly went beside him and sat near him caressing his hair. "Putr I can only give suggestions when you are confident with your decision. First be clear what you want then I can tell you how you can achieve it" she said making him look up. Slowly he stood and made his way towards the window and sighed . "Mata, the problem is I can't choose. Both of them are important in my life. But there is something I want to know," saying so he turned towards her

"In these many years haven't anyone tried to find a way out of this curse? And why did the curse fell upon us" he asked her. "Well to your first question many have tried putr but no one could able to reach till the solution , the persons who tried to get solution for this have never returned back. For your second question the reason behind that was tampered along with the generations no one exactly knew what happened. Many stories were heard about that incident." she took a second pause and tried to process her thoughts in a line.

"But putr this curse is 300 years back one and it was the same time when our ancestors have started our regin here in vijay puri" she said trying to put both of them at place. "You are saying that this curse has something related to vijaypuri establishment right mata!" he asked her making her nod.

Both of them fell into pit of thoughts suddenly ira spoke making him out of his trace. "so have you thought anything what you want to do radhey?" she asked "Mata I have lost radha ma, my friend yukti and I am not ready to loose my father and I can't let this happen to the next generation either. Hence I have decided to find a way how to remove this curse but I don't want to disappoint pitashree either." he concluded.

"hmm, what about your revenge then radhey?" she questioned him "Mata my revenge will wait. I am not going to leave it but just postponing it . My first priority is to save my family from this curse. I will do anything to keep my family and my people safe" he replied.

"I can't stop you radhey because you have command on your life and you are capable enough to take your own decisions. I can only warn you putr that path is going to be dangerous. since you have decided then I suggest you to take up the position of crown prince" she said pulling up a stern look

"but how is it going to help? If I will take up the position of crown prince then I can't go in search for the solution of this curse. Even if I go pitashree is not going to allow it and as crown prince i have to take his orders" he finished and threw a confused look towards his step-mother.

"who said we are going to let your father know?" she said looking at his more confused expression. "You are going to take the position for your father satisfaction. But you are going to attend the kala pradharshan in hastinapur. We have received the invitation and since hastinapur and vijay puri have been close for many years in political terms ; so it's necessary to sent a representative there from our side initially I was trying to send jay but now you are going to accompany him" she was cut off by karn

"And how is it going to help me to remove the curse?"he asked her "You will not let me complete know! first listen after reaching hastinapur meet with maharishi vedvyas there. He might be helpful for us as he is trikaladharshi and from there you decide what you can do?" she said making him nod trying to grasp the plan totally.

Before Iravathi can continue Karn has signaled her to remain silent "Jay! come out from your hiding point" he said making a figure move towards the doors slowly.

Jay made his way inside and gave them a nervous smile rubbing his neck. "since when were you listening the conversation Jay" Ira asked him "You can just say your secret is no longer a secret mata bharat vasu" he said making her face palm

"Good thing you have listened everything ; so that there is no need to explain to you again. Pack your bags and be ready we are going to hastinapur but remember one thing jay never ever do anything stupid there" karn said making sanjay release a growl.

"I don't like taking orders brother! and I am a grown up now . Remember you are going to need my assistance in this mission so now you have to treat me with some respect" jay demanded him. "You are not going to participate in this thing. I, alone going to handle this. I am going you to send back once it takes a dangerous turn" Karn said in a stern voice.

"You can't always do everything alone bhratashree. moreover you can't expect me to sit silent when you are taking everything upon yourselves. He is my father too so is this family. Everything can't be done alone" sanjay said sternly. A tension was creating in between the brother which Ira tried to calm down but both of them are known for their stubbornness.

"I am going to be alone on this mission and it is end of discussion. You are going to return to vijay puri after the kalapradharshan and look after the kingdon, and both father and mother. I am saying this as your jyesth and you are going to follow my decision END.OF.DISCUSSION" saying so karn marched out of the room.

"You know your brother will never allow you to take upon the problems right" Ira said "That's the problem mata, He has shut him out of everything after radha ma's death. Taking everyhting on himself is not right always. Though he is close to you but he isn't sharing his feelings with you thinking he is burdening you with himself. Now How I wish Yukti jiji was here atleast she could have knock some sense in my stubborn brother" saying so sanjay to marched out of there mumbling something about his brother.

"these kids!" Ira sighed moving towards her husband's cabins though she tried to potray as strong as she looks but she is still broken like karn and sanjay.
