𓂀 𝐹𝒪𝑅𝑀𝒜𝒯𝐼𝒪𝒩 𓂀
Gumtree was a sandy she-cat that had been chosen as the leader of the two groups that had to break away from Fern's group. She was one of the original alley cats, and the cat that had actually asked Fern to be the leader of their group. She was one of the few alley cats that had not stayed with Fern as the group had to split in three. As the Clans arrived at the lake, she had claimed the eucalypt forest south of the grassy fields. Gumtree had named her Clan not because she had lead it first, but because of the forest they live in. In her life as an alley cat, she had climbed brick walls and wooden fences, along with trees at parks. Her previous life had given her the idea of teaching her Clan how to climb trees, and hunt and fight in them. The technique of ambushing predators and enemies from trees has worked quite well, and so the type of defending GumClan's territory had been taught to most apprentices throughout history.

𓂀 𝐻𝐸𝑅𝒪𝐸𝒮 𝒜𝒩𝒟 𝒱𝐼𝐿𝐿𝒜𝐼𝒩𝒮 𓂀 +Shaping events
Sweetpaw was the first apprentice to master the skill of ambushing enemies from trees, and had alerted GumClan of a group of rogues that killed prey for sport in their territory. She had jumped from tree to tree, all the way to camp to get warriors that knew the skill of ambushing from trees, and had been allowed to lead the attack on the rogues (She was around 12 moons old and about to take her assessment). The attack being successful, she was promoted to treeclimber and later when she was 34 moons old she was promoted to Battleclaw.

These cats can be named after anything that canon cats can (But not plants and animals that the cats probably haven't heard of (These cats are in Australia)). The most common names are bird related, or anything tree related. (ie. Branch, lorikeet, swan, leaf)
