Sohee POV

After collecting my things, we promptly left and made our way to the temple.

When we arrived, we found a frantic man waiting for us. "Why the hell did you all go back up that mountain? What if you all got lost like Hoya did? How would I explain that to the boss and the fans?"

"Relax Hyung" Sunggyu smiled. "We had a guide with us this time."

"A guide?" he was confused. He looked around until his eyes landed on me. "Who are you?"

"This is Sohee" Hoya spoke up. "Our guide and my girlfriend."

Everyone looked at me in shock causing me to blush. I lightly hit his arm and whispered "Did you really have to say that?"

"Hoya" his manager pulled him aside. "You're joking, right?"

"No, Hyung. I'm not joking. She is my girlfriend."

His shoulders dropped and he sighed heavily. "Okay, I'll inform the boss of the situation. You guys go back and rest. We are heading back to Seoul tomorrow."

The guys all nodded, but Hoya spoke up "Is it alright if I take a detour before heading back to Seoul?"

Their manager's face froze "A detour? Where are you going?"

"Just to Incheon" I spoke up.

"How long?" he questioned.

I looked at Hoya and shrugged my shoulders. "A day... maybe two..."

His manager placed a hand on his head and sighed. "Let me call the boss first and see what he says. You go and rest."

"Okay" they all shouted and bowed before heading off to their rooms.

Hoya took my hand, smiled and said "You can stay with me."

"Okay" I blushed in reply.

The next morning, we all got ready and waited for their manager to arrive. "Okay, everyone! Get in!"

Howon/Hoya POV

"Hyung!" I called out to him.

"Just get in" he said. "I'll explain as I drive."

We all got into the van and got on the way. "What's going on, Hyung?" Sunggyu asked.

"When I spoke to the boss yesterday and gave him the update on everything, he said that you all could have some time off." 

The guys all cheered. "What does that mean?" I asked.

"He told me to take you to Incheon first and then to drop the others off at the dorm" he smiled. "So" he perked up some more. "Where in Incheon are we going?"

All of us looked to Sohee and she shyly said "The Incheon Archives."

"Huh?" we all looked at her dumbfounded.

"Did you just say the Incheon Archives?" Sungyeol asked and she nodded.

"Okay!" our manager smiled. "You guys relax while I drive."

"I thought you said that you were going to visit other gumihos to do some research?" I whispered to her. "Why are we going to the archives?"

She looked at me pitifully. "The archives are owned by the gumihos there" she whispered in reply.

"For real?" I shouted. Everyone looked at me and I quickly apologized. I looked at her and she nodded with a smile.

"Want to let us in on the secret?" Sunggyu whispered to us.

She shrugged her shoulders and I said "Nope!"

When we arrived at the Archives, Sohee and I both got out of the van. "Sure you guys will be okay? You're not going to need a ride later?" my manager asked.

"We'll be fine" I said. "We'll see you later."

After watching them drive off, we went inside. 

"Hello!" we were greeted by the receptionist. "Welcome to the Incheon Archives. How can we help you today?"

"I was hoping to meet with Siwan" Sohee said.

The receptionist perked up after hearing the name. "May I have your name?"

"Sohee" she replied.

"Please have a seat while I make a call" she gestured to a waiting area.

"Are you sure about this?" I asked her as we took a seat. "This doesn't look like a place where gumihos live" I whispered to her.

"And where do you expect us to live?" a young man asked as he approached us.

"Huh?" I was surprised by his sudden appearance.

"Hello, Siwan" Sohee smiled.

"Welcome back, Sohee" he replied as he gave her a hug. "Who is this?"

"This is my boyfriend, Hoya."

He nodded "And he knows?"

"I couldn't not tell him" she giggled.

He walked over to me and held out his hand "It's a pleasure to meet you, Hoya. My name is Siwan."

I extended my hand and shook his. "The pleasure is mine" I replied.

"So, what brings you back so soon?" he asked Sohee.

"First, I have some items that need to be entrusted to the archives" she said as she produced the edict and some journals. "And second, I have a few questions I need answers to."

"Come with me" he said.

We followed him through the stacks of books until we came to a large vault.

"What is this place?" I asked.

"This is the Archive Vault" he replied. "It is a highly restricted area in the archives." Then he smiled and whispered "Reserved only for gumiho visitors."

"Oh" I nodded.

Sohee POV

"I like him!" he looked at me and smiled.

"Me too" I blushed.

"Come, let's talk inside." Once inside, he placed my journals and the edict on the table. He looked them over for a minute and then asked "Why are you placing these in the care of the archives? From what I understand, there is a village on Fox Mountain. Couldn't you leave these with them?"

"There is a village, but they are not equipped to handle such rare documents" I replied. "If this history and knowledge is to be preserved, it can only be done here."

"I see" Siwan nodded. "I will make sure they are taken care of properly." He set the items aside and then asked "You had questions?"

"Yes" I replied. "When I came last time, I asked about our tails."

"I remember" he commented.

"Have you ever heard of a gumiho losing their tails?"

He looked surprised, but responded "Yes, I have."

"What happened to those gumiho?" I asked anxiously.

He took a deep breath before saying "They either died, or became human."

"Became human?" Hoya and I both asked in shock.

"Yes" Siwan smiled. "A gumiho can not live without a tail" he stated factually. "Unless they become human."

"Human" I said in shock. "I'm human."

Siwan perked up a bit "You no longer have your tails?"

I shook my head. Hoya and I showed him the necklaces we were wearing. "These are my tails."

"You gave them a physical form?" He was surprised "How? Why?"

"Both the method and reason are documented in those journals" I replied.

"I will have to read them carefully" he said. He thought for a moment and asked "May I feel your pulse?" I nodded and placed my wrist on the table. He took his time examining my pulse. When he was satisfied, he said "You're right. You're no longer a gumiho, you are human."

I was in shock. I'm human!
