Sunjin POV

        Heeyoung left, but I could hear her talking to Hyun-shik outside.  "What did her mother want?" Heeyoung asked.

        "Nothing" he replied. "She just wanted to thank me for my help earlier."

        "Isn't that expected of a boyfriend?" Why does she have to tease him like that? I should have never opened my mouth.

        Then I heard him scream "Shut up!" Guess he didn't like being teased.

        He walked into my room and I smiled upon seeing him. "How are you feeling? Do you need anything?"

        "No, I'm fine" I said as I tried to adjust my position. "I'm sorry about Heeyoung teasing you."

        He took a seat beside me and said "Don't worry about it. Even if you didn't say anything, she still would have teased me. That's the way she is."

        I giggled a little and then leaned against him. "I'm so glad that we can finally be together" I sighed happily.

Hyun-shik POV

        "Me too" I smiled as I wrapped my arms around her. "Oh! By the way, your mother said that there would be a gathering tonight in the usual spot at ten o'clock."

        "Really? I guess this is going to be a little awkward."

        "Why? Where are we going?"

        "Back to the Archives' Vault" she giggled.

        "You've got to be kidding me! I have to go back to that haunted place?"

        "Yes, and this time, you are going to be surrounded by foxes" she smiled.

        "I can just picture your brother growling at me" I said in a defeated tone and she started to laugh. "It's not funny! Your brother hates me!"

        "He just doesn't know you yet. I promise, my family are going to love you."

        "I hope so."

        She wrapped her arms around me and gave me a tight squeeze. I smiled at the show of affection and adjusted to make the both of us comfortable.

Siwan POV

        I'm glad my mother is finally taking this situation seriously. That Hyun-shik guy really bothers me.

        We arrived at the Archives ahead of the other foxes and made sure to prepare the room for everyone. "Mom, are you going to tell me what happened?"

        "Don't worry, everything will be explained tonight."

        "Mom! Don't I have the right to know what is happening before the others? I mean, she is my sister!"

        "I understand that you are worried about her, but I'm afraid that you will have to wait."

        After she said that she refused to talk to me no matter how much I pressed her for answers. Eventually I gave up, because the other foxes started to arrive.

Sunjin POV

        I woke up and looked at the clock. "Crap! We're going to be late!"

        "Huh? What's going on?" Hyun-shik said as he groggily sat up.

        "We have to get going" I pulled on his arm.

        "Why? Where are we going?"

        I have to admit he was acting very cute and I would be tempted to play with him a little more, but we were already running late. "The meeting!"

        His eyes sprang open "Shit! I'm sorry! I should have remembered."

        "Don't worry, let's just go!" We got up and started running towards the Archives.

        "How are we going to get past the security system? Isn't it monitored by the government as well?"

        "Don't worry about that. We have power failures all the time" I giggled. "It looks like tonight is just one of those times."

        He chuckled "The government doesn't complain about it?"

        "Not at all. We have never lost a document, so they don't complain about our technical problems."

        We got inside and I grabbed a flashlight. We walked down the rows of books and chests until we came face to face with a couple of angry foxes.

Siwan POV

        Everyone except Sunjin had arrived and we had been waiting for a while when one of the other foxes spoke up. "How long are we going to wait for your daughter? Shouldn't you just go and get her?"

        "I'm sorry" my mother replied. I on the other hand wanted to smack that fox for talking to us that way after all we have done for them. "She will be here shortly."

        Suddenly, a gust of wind blew through the stacks and all the foxes became nervous; The scent of humans were in the air.

        "It looks like her friends don't know when to mind their own business" one of the other foxes commented. "Maybe we should go and have a little fun scaring them?" he suggested. Then he and a couple of other foxes got up and took off to scare the intruders.

Sunjin POV

        "Calm down" I smiled at the foxes before us. "Don't you recognize me?" Hyun-shik had taken to hiding behind me.

        The foxes looked me over and said "Sunjin? What were you thinking? You should have just transformed and come straight to the vault. Why are you....Wait, who is that with you?" I turned the flashlight off and then they could clearly see that I had Hyun-shik with me. "Why did you bring him with you?"

        I smiled at them again "Let's get back to the vault. I will explain everything there." The foxes eyed us warily, but agreed in the end.

        As we turned to walk towards the vault, Hyun-shik grabbed my arm "Are you still sure this is a good idea?"

        I smiled and said "Yes. Let's go." I turned the flashlight on and proceeded to the vault. When we arrived, all eyes were on us.

        "I'm glad you both could make it" my mother said with a smile that earned glares from the rest of our family.

        "I'm sorry for making you all wait. We overslept" I blushed.

        "May I ask" one of the foxes spoke up "Why did you bring that human here?"

        "I will explain everything" I said as we made our way into the room. "First, I want to thank you all for coming out tonight" I bowed.

        "If you are going to use formalities, then don't you think you should transform already?" my brother shouted at me.

        I smiled at him and said "I would transform if I still had that ability."

        The entire room looked upon me in shock; My brother included. "Y...You can't transform?" he stuttered.

        "Please allow me to explain. This is why we called for a gathering tonight." I paused to gather my thoughts before proceeding. "As you are all aware, there have been some disturbances that have affected our senses recently." The foxes shifted uncomfortably. "I'm happy to say that the reason behind these disturbances has been identified."

        "What happened? What was it?" the foxes all perked up and were now looking for answers.

        "Calm down everyone. Allow me to explain." I turned to my brother and asked "Where are the chests from earlier?"

        "How did you know...."

        "Where are the chests?"

        "I put them away."

        "Could you please go and retrieve them?"

        "Fine" he pouted as he ran off to find the chests. When he returned, I had him place both chests on the table and I opened them to reveal what was inside.

        "What is this?" one of the foxes asked.

        "This is all the documentation on Cho Myung-dae's Murder case. I stated plainly as I laid out the documents. Then I opened the other chest and produced the journal "And this is his final journal."

        The foxes crowded around me to see the journal that they never knew existed until this moment.

        "Why did he title it 'The Gumiho's Tail'?" my brother asked without looking at it.

Hyun-shik POV

        "Because it was his wish that people knew that Gumihos, such as yourselves, did exist. He wanted people to know that not all Gumihos were evil creatures, but rather kind and caring individuals. And, most importantly, he wanted to share his love for Sunjin with his future self."

        The foxes stared at me in shock. They didn't know what to think of what I had said and it made me wonder if I should have spoken at all.

        "Thank you Hyun-shik" Sunjin smiled at me as she walked over and hugged me. Again, the foxes were stumped by the situation.

        "Does someone want to explain what the Hell is going on here?" We all turned towards the doorway and were surprised to see Minwoo and Heeyoung standing there slack-jawed.
