Hyun-shik POV

        The doctor left the room and Sunjin's mother was still in a state of shock "My.... daughter.... is.... normal?"

        "Are you alright?" I asked.

        "I'm not sure" she replied.

        "Should I call the doctor back in for you?"

        "No" she shook her head. Then she walked over to Sunjin and started to look her over.

        "Is something wrong?"

        Suddenly her eyes grew wide and then she turned to me and started to look me over the same way she did Sunjin. "Is this even possible?"

        "What? What happened?"

        She looked me in the eyes and said "My daughter is no longer a fox."

        I looked at Sunjin and was shocked "But.... How is that possible?"

        She smiled tenderly and said "I think the fox bead inside of you resonated with her desire to be with her mate. The bead doesn't have the power to turn you into a fox, but perhaps it had just enough power to make her human."

        "So the fox bead did this?" I was surprised. I've never been one to read and follow the myths, so I had no clue that it was possible.

        "Yes" she replied. "It used it's remaining power to transform her. At least that is what I believe happened."

        "Then what happened to the bead?"

        "Since she is no longer a fox, her fox bead no longer exists."

        "Then what about the memories from my past life? Will I loose them?"

        "I'm not sure. It is very unusual for anyone to remember their past life. Those who do, usually suffer from it because they can not distinguish the past from the present and it drives them mad."

        "Are you saying I will go crazy?"

        She smiled at me "I don't think that will happen to you, but if you like, I could try and remove the memories for you."

        I thought about everything that had just happened and then I looked at Sunjin. "Will I remember my feelings for her?"

        "I do not know" she replied honestly. "I've never used my powers on a human before, so I don't know what will happen."

        "Then, if it is alright with you, I want to keep them."

        "Are you sure?"

        I looked at Sunjin and said "Yes. If she has to live with the memories from the past, I want to share those with her as well."

        Her mother smiled at me. "Looks like my daughter found an honorable mate."

        Sunjin started to stir and when her eyes opened, her mother and I were both at her bedside smiling.

Sunjin POV

        "What is going on? Where am I?"

        "We are at the hospital" my mother said.

        My eyes widened and I quickly sat up "What? Why am I here?"

        "Relax" she said as she placed her hands on my shoulder. "It is alright" she smiled.

        "How is this possibly alright? What if they find out....."

        "They won't" my mother replied calmly.

        "Mom!"

        "Please try to relax and let me explain."

        I was still nervous, but I tried to listen to my mother. "What is going on?"

        Hyun-shik came and sat beside me. He smiled and said "You collapsed in the vault. Your mother tried to figure out what was wrong, but your pulse was different and she couldn't determine what was wrong. I insisted that we bring you to the hospital even though your mother was worried that they would learn the truth."

        "Then why did you do it?" I asked him. "If they find out......."

        "There is nothing to worry about" my mother said with a smile. "The doctors have already examined you and have said that you are fine."

        My eyes widened again. "It's okay" Hyun-shik smiled. "They said that all your tests were normal and that you could be discharged as soon as you were awake."

        My heart started to pound. "Normal?" I asked and Hyun-shik and my mother both nodded. Then I looked at him and realized that I could no longer sense my fox bead within him. "Wait..... Where is my bead?"

        "Sunjin" my mother spoke calmly once more. "Your bead no longer exists."

        "What? Why? What happened?"

        "The bead used the last of it's powers to make you human, dear."

        "Hu...man? I'm.....human?" I looked at the both of them and they nodded.

        "Your bead resonated with your love for your mate and turned you human so that you could be with your mate."

        I looked up at Hyun-shik and asked "Really?" and he nodded. Then he wrapped his arm around me and hugged me tightly. Tears began to fall from my eyes. After all these years of waiting, I can finally be with my one true mate.

Hyun-shik POV

        I held her tighter as she cried and whispered "I love you" in her ear.

        "I love you Hyun-shik" she sobbed.

        A few hours later, the doctor said that she was clear for discharge and reminded us to make sure that she gets enough food and rest. We returned to her home and were greeted by some very worried family and friends.

        "YA! Hyun-shik!" Heeyoung ran over to me and hit me in the arm very hard. "Why didn't you tell us that she fainted?"

        "There really wasn't much time to tell everyone" I half-smiled.

        "Please don't yell at him" Sunjin begged.

        "Mi-rae!" Heeyoung pushed me aside and turned all her attention on to her. "How are you feeling? Do you need to lie down?"

        Sunjin smiled and said "I'm fine."

        "Don't you know how worried we were about you?" Her brother asked as he approached, but stopped just shy of her. Then he looked at me and I could tell that he could sense that something was different about us.
