Kimberly's P.O.V.

"Hey, you're up early." Austin stretches his arms above his head, and I sit up.

"Didn't get much sleep." I nod silently and he bites his lip.

"Oh.." He says, quietly, and I stare at my converse.

"Can we talk?" I ask and he shrugs.

"I don't think there's anything else to talk about." Austin says and I sigh.

"There's plenty."

"No, I don't think so. We've discussed it all, you slept with my best friend, I'm a cheater, and we're obviously, broken up. Good talk." Austin gets up from the floor and walks away from me.

"Austin! Don't do this! You're being ridiculous, why can't you be mature and just talk it out?" I chase after him and he scoffs.

"Mature? I tried being mature, mature doesn't work, Kimberly. Mature, is trying to tell your girlfriend you didn't cheat on her, and look where mature got me." Austin said straight to my face and I pursed my lips.

"Austin-"

"Then, she lied! She lied to my face! She was fucking my best friend behind my back and I-"

"Why are you getting mad about this?
It's I thought we settled this! I was not! It was one time! He had been flirting with me for ages, you were so blind!" I raised my voice now, and Austin rubbed a hand over his face.

"You slept with him, Kimberly!"

"I didn't want to, I was drunk!" I yelled at him.

"You were drunk. That's your excuse?" Austin snapped.

"Get it through your thick head, I didn't want to cheat on you, I've always loved you, I still love you, you idiot!" I practically screamed at him and he remained silent.

My phone went off in the silence and I reached in my pocket to check it.

8:00 AM Store Opens.

I drew in a deep breath and the doors to the grocery store opened.

"Austin, I'm sorry." I said sincerely.

"I am too." Austin shook his head and pushed passed the manger, walking through the doors.

I stared at the dirty tiled floor, disappointed in myself and our conversation.

"You kids were stuck in here this whole time?" The manager asks and I give him a skeptical look.

"Yeah, you should fix that gumball machine." I gave him a small glare and left the store.

I walked away to my Jeep, sadness and memories playing over and over in my head.

Memories, I could never get back.

Well... they got out?
