Star was excited on this fine morning. He decided to drag Eve along on another search through the woods to find the Guild In The Forest. But today, he decided, they would travel farther than ever before.

"Good morning sleepyhead," Eve said in reply. "Your fur is a mess by the way," she chuckled lifting a paw to point out the fur sticking up around his face.

"Oh well, we've got more important things to worry about today!" Star exclaimed, jumping up.

"And that would be..?" Eve teased.

"We're going to find the Guild In The Forest today! For sure! We aren't coming back until we do!"

"Overly confident today aren't we?" Eve asked sarcastically with a yawn. "But in the case that we aren't coming back until we find the Guild, we'd best pack our bags with as many supplies as we can."

Eve slowly got up, shaking herself awake. She went into the den, followed by Star. The cave where they had made their home  was very small, only holding one large nest, a tiny fire ring for when it got cold, and the two heavy bags the pair of Pokémon kept their belongings in. It was cozy, however. Eve didn't mind it, and neither did Star. It helped them get closer to each other.

Eve and Star grabbed their bags and the Eevee pulled out a homemade map they used to keep track of their location.

"So, I think we had better head south today. The map hasn't been filled in very much in that direction yet," she stated, observing the map. She then searched her bag for a minute, pulling out some unneeded items such as rotten apples and TMs neither if them could use. Star did the same, although his pile of junk was much larger than Eve's.

"Okay, let's head into town first to get fresh food and medical supplies. I'm running out of Reviver Seeds anyway," the Shinx said as he pulled out an old Oren Berry.

"That's not an Oran berry... The color is way too light." Jenni informed him. "Its an imposter... An Oren Berry..."

"Are you sure the color isn't because it's been in my bag since the last time we were in a Mystery Dungeon?" the blue Pokémon asked.

"If you don't believe me, go ahead, take a bite," she replied with a smirk. "When was the last time we were in a Mystery Dungeon anyways?"

"Hmm... Probably not since the cave dungeon by Intrinsic Town was closed..." Eve coughed in surprise.

"That was last winter!" she exclaimed.

"Are you sure? I thought it was in the summer."

"No. Remember the big group of Tropius that moved in because it was too cold?"

"Oh yeah, and it caved in because of their snoring! Thank Arceus they got out," Star sighed. The Eevee started walking out of the den, so he trotted out with her.

"Whatever happened to them anyways?" she wondered.

"I'm actually not sure," Star replied. "I haven't seen them lately."

The rest of their short walk continued in silence until they reached a small village known as Intrinsic Town. It was a quiet little town, not a lot of Pokémon were usually out and about. It was made mostly out of wood and cloth for the tents that were scattered around the town square. Some small houses were build on the outskirts of the town but there weren't a lot.

Star and Eve said 'hello' to any Pokémon they passed by. They knew almost everyone around because they had lived nearby ever since Star left Sun and Moon to live in the cave he found with Eve two years prior.

Their first stop was at Rage the Dragonite's training tent. They each needed to learn a powerful new move to survive the whole trip. After a session of training separately, the two met back up and had a mini battle to show each other their new tactics.

Eve started out by using her previous move set, a Tackle first, but Star fought back with a Thunderbolt, then she burrowed into ground, waiting for the Shinx to move so she could locate him from underground. As soon as she heard him move, she popped out of the ground and knocked him over. She had him pinned but he decided to use his new move, Fire Fang. He used a spark to start a fire on his teeth, just like Rage had taught him to. Eve was surprised by the sudden flash of heat coming from his mouth and jumped back, giving Star the opportunity to lunge forward and get a clean bite on her foreleg. She was getting weak but she could tell that Star was too, so she used her remaining strength to exploit her new move, Iron Tail. She focused hard enough so her tail turned to steel, then swung it at her companion. It sent him flying and he landed in the grass, causing a group of Spearow to fly away in fear. Star laid on the ground, unable to move or battle. Rage came up behind the two young Pokémon, clapping.

"Great job, both of you!" he praised. Jenni made her way over to the Shinx, pulling a Tiny Reviver Seed out of her bag. She gave it to him and he ate it gratefully. He got up as Eve was munching on an Oran berry herself.

"Good battle!" The fluffy brown Pokémon exclaimed through a mouthful of berry.

"You too! But trust me, next time I'm going to win!" he replied with a laugh.
