A small brown Pokémon sniffed at the ground as she slowly walked through the dense forest, only stopping every so often to listen.

She was determined to find a certain blue-furred Pokémon who eluded her by attempting to throw her off of his scent. Suddenly she heard a branch snap and whipped around to see her target. He gulped and began to run. The Eevee put up a chase and tried to jump on him but ended up crashing into the dirt. She got up and shook off, looking around. She no longer saw the Shinx so she once again stopped to listen. She heard nothing but the usual bird Pokémon within the trees.

Then she looked up slightly, seeing bright blue color amongst the green leaves. The Shinx did not see her however, so she took that opportunity to sneak up to the tree the electric type occupied.

The Eevee tackled the tree multiple times, sending the blue Pokémon flying out of it. The normal type hurried over to where he had landed and jumped on him before he had the chance to get up.

"Ha! I win!" she gloated, laying on the Shinx. He struggled under her weight but couldn't get free. He sighed and relaxed.

"Good game Eve!" he praised, his long tail twitching with irritation. "Could you let me up now?"

"Only if you say please Star," Eve said in a sing-song voice, brushing her bushy tail against his face. He sneezed and she laughed.

"Please let me up," Star mumbled flatly. The Eevee got up and Star sprang up, shaking off the dirt that covered him.

"Alright, now what?" Eve asked.

"You want to try and find the Guild again?" he questioned eagerly. Eve shook her head.

"It's getting late. If we're going to get lost, best wait until morning," she replied.

"Aww... Okay, then let's head home. We can munch on some of our berries and tell stories until dusk! Race you to the den!" he exclaimed suddenly, bolting down the path the two had traveled many times. Eve took off behind Star, yet was unable to outrun him.
