Not untill a few weeks later, the factory was built.

   The clouds were polluted with dark clouds that made the birds molt. The rivers were filled with murky oil. Trees were disappearing, and food was scarce for the hungry residents.

   My arm managed to heal, but I didn't care. Most days my brother and I would try to find more food, but the ones that were still around were eaten by the Once-Ler himself.

     "Sky....with the food gone, we'll have to send away the animals." Ash explained quietly, he had found me near the oil filled rivers. Most of the trees strong enough to hold us together were cut down, so I usually sat near the river.

       "They won't survive here any longer." He spoke again, Pikachu jumped into my arms, rubbing my once broken arm affectionately.

     "I know." I croaked slightly, the tears on my cheeks had dried, but you could still see the stains they've left.

     "It just.....I've never thought something like this would make them leave. We always thought it'd be like a forest fire. But this....." I inhaled the smog filled air, "This is unbearable."

   "Sky...Ash..."

   We turned around to see the Lorax,his mustache was duller. "C'mom,it's time..."

  Timeskip.....

  We all sat at the balcony of the Once-Ler's new factory. He just walked into the room and started on a model to a new town.

    "So." Lorax started, He and Ash spun around to face him. I however stayed facing the grey and lifeless land before my eyes. "How are things?"

   "What are you doing here?"

   "You feel that hole deep down I side of you fill up?" Lorax asked, "Or do you still need more?"

   "Do we make you uncomfortable? Remind you of the promises you've made, the man YOU used to be?"

     "Well if you have a problem with what I'm doing. Why haven't you used your, Quote and quote, 'Powers' to stop me?"

   I sighed them turned to face his angry face. "We told you. It's not how it works."

   "Oh yeah I forgot, "Suddenly he leaned close to our faces. "Your a FRAUD."

    We all jumped off of the railing as he walked closer and closer to us. Soon we were walking backwards towards the ground below.

   "I have my conscious, I've done nothing illegal. I have my rights. And I'm just going to keep biggering and biggering, and turn more trees into Thneeds." A rock caused me to fall backwards, Ash and Lorax followed my trail. The Once-Ler leaned his face closer to ours.

     "And NOTHING is going to STOP me." I turned away from his face and stared back at the scene next to me.

   Suddenly, the unmistakable sound of an axe being swung rang through my ears. It was so hard not to let any tears fall onto my cheeks. Once-Ler turned to the sound, and saw the very last tree fall to the ground.

    "The very last tree." Ash spoke quietly.

   "That should stop you now." I finished for him, Once-Ler stared at the once beautiful valley, regret and realization was found in his eyes.

   Timeskip....

   The Factory was destroyed, and the Once-Ler's family left him riding away in their van. Not ever wanting to see him again.

    Ash and I walked over a few feet away from  the Once-Ler, Humming Fishes, Bears, and birds followed behind us. The Lorax was standing on a mound of stones.  

   "Look guys I don't want any trouble." The Once-Ler said warily, backing away slightly.

   "And your not getting any.Not from them." Ash and I spoke in unison. A sad look was on our faces.

    "Because of all your smogging and snogging and polluting, this place isn't safe enough for them to live on.So Ash and Sky are sending them off." Lorax explained for us.

   Melvin passed by, Once-Ler was surprised that his own mule would leave him. Pipsqueak walked over to me,I picked him up and cradled him in my arms.

   "Pipsqueak? " Once-Ler asked. Pipsqueak didn't dare to look at him, he buried his head into my shoulders. The Once-Ler took out the small white thing and offered it to him, but he didn't take it.

       The Once-Ler watched as the animals marched away in hope of finding a home...

As he did so, Ash and I walked next to Lorax, Pipsqueak was still in my arms, and Pikachu was on Ash's shoulder. The Once-Ler turned to face us, Lorax shook his head in disappointment.

    Then, he lifted his rum up high, and started floating towards the heavens. The Once-Ler watched until he was fully gone.

    Ash took off his hat,soon he followed Lorax into the heavens,Pikachu was clinging tightly to Ash's shoulder. Finally, he disappeared into the heavens with Pikachu.

    That leaves Pipsqueak and me. Yes,Pipsqueak is coming with me. He doesn't have a family, so I'm making him part of ours.

    I reached into my pocket and took out a small truffula seed. After giving it to Once-Ler, I glanced back at the mound of stones. Now, the words 'Unless' was carved into the biggest Hmong the stones.

       Now, I took a deep breath, my feet left the ground. Once-Ler watched as Pipsqueak and I floated back to my twin brother and the Lorax.

    You see, when we first met the Once-Ler people would see him as a regular guy. But, when he started smogging the sky and all that bad stuff, people would think he was a monster.

     But they were wrong, the Once-Ler was never described as a monster. He was just.....different. Someone who wanted to fit in but couldn't.

    Now, he has a choice,to regret everything he's done, or to make a change. But of course, he wasn't the person we knew who would change something like this.

    Unless someone like us cares a whole awful lot,

      Nothings going to get better, it's not.
