The New Guys

A/N: Updates will be Monthly, near the end or beginning of the month, it depends on how fast I finish the next chapters. The longer it takes me, the longer the wait time.

I woke up to see that we were in a room. The walls were painted yellow and I was on the floor, but the carpet was a beige color, and soft. There were windows showing outside which led to a forest, not sure which though. I saw Katie and she was knocked out as well, but I can see her trying to regain conscious. "Ah, I see that you two are awake." A smooth, high but definitely male voice broke the silence.

I looked up to see a man sitting on a chair. He has blue hair, and the top of it has yellow highlights. He is wearing a long brown coat that reaches down to his knees, and black dress pants and shoes. He seemed smart, he also had a small front pocket on his coat that has glasses in them, and I could see that his shirt was a calm green color. "My name is Einstein, I used to be your companion until you had an accident, resulting in forgetting us." He said. He also moved his hands about when talking.

Katie finally jolted up from her sleep, and looked around, rubbing her eyes, "Where are we?" She asked as if it was normal to suddenly wake up in a new place. "She's right. Um, where are we?" I asked as well. Einstein answered, "You are in Musiphan." I gave a puzzled look, so did Katie, "Um....what state? Or country? I don't think I've heard of Musiphan....if that's what it's called." She asked. I nodded, "Yeah, what place are we in?" I agreed with her on learning where our location is.

Before Einstein could answer, a loud clatter sounded, then suddenly, a large red-orange dog ran through the doorway towards us. It jumped and barked, and started kissing us with it's rough tongue. Katie and I smiled and laughed, until, "KIMBU YOU NO GOOD MUTT, COME BACK HERE WITH MY WRENCH!!!" That was an angry male voice yelling. Kimbu, which I believed was the dog, did have a wrench under it's paws. I guess that when it came to greet us it dropped it. It didn't look exactly like a dog though, it had an orange tint like a fox, but is large as a wolf. The tail was much longer than a regular dog's tail, it had a white ending to it. His amber eyes were filled with joy, well, until the yelling.

Another male stumbled into the room. He had blue hair, but it was much lighter, there were still streaks of brown, and his eyes were a dark blue. He is wearing a white lab coat, and clearly is angered at Kimbu, but when he saw us, his tone of voice changed, "Oh, sorry, I didn't know that you two were awake." He said, then bowed at us, "Allow me to introduce myself, I am Galiek, a scientist but still friend. And you might of heard call this wolf-fox a mutt, but his name is Kimbu." Kimbu barked in a friendly way. Galiek continued, "You two were fast asleep when Na-um, we found you. Since teleportation isn't in your body's abilities yet, your systems shut down on you temporarily, causing your nerves to shift-"

"Ahem." Einstein interrupted, Galiek apparently caught on, "My apologies, I sometimes ramble on and no one seems to understand me. I was saying that your body's were tired from the teleportation, and we had to let you rest and wake up on your own, otherwise something bad might happen with your nervous system." He simplified. I nodded, and so did Katie. I wonder how she's reacting to all of this. Kimbu picked up the wrench and ran off with it, and Galiek immediately went after him yelling, "GIVE IT BACK!!!" He suddenly took a new burst of speed and was a blur before he even was halfway across the room. We looked in amazement as Galiek was picking up Kimbu in a quick manner, "And no, that was not teleportation to answer you." He said before blurring again and going back to what seemed to be in his 'laboratory'.

Einstein helped both of us up, "I'll show you around the house. But not in the rooms, we need you guys to go through a test before that." I wondered what he meant by test, but we were pulled into the kitchen. I looked around and I saw the same bunny dinosaur that saved me from the last time, he was eating some sort of fruit, and some of the scratches were recent. I ran up to him, "Hello! Remember me?" I said. He instantly smiled, seeming to feel much better from last time, and pulled me into a bear hug. At least, that's what it felt like with all that fur and his big arms, "I remember! But I didn't tell you my name." He said and placed me down gently. I grabbed Katie's arm, while she was standing in the doorway dumbfounded, "This is my friend Katie!" I introduced. The bunny-saur brought his head down and touched her forehead with his. He then regained posture, "I am Fi-shue, a friend and a Kaliku." He said with pride, then he gave a small roar.

Katie looked like she was enjoying this; the wonder and amazement clearly painted on her face. I giggled at her face; it seemed funny. Katie suddenly looked at me, "This is so crazy!" She whispered-yelled. Fi-shue's ear twitched slightly, the broken one, "I don't understand since I'm used to it, but I guess all first timers think that it's crazy." He made a low growling sound, but it mostly felt like a chuckle, or laugh. I look at the mirror that was behind him, and I saw something. Other than Einstein and Katie and Fi-shue, it looked so real as if it was in the room. It was a dark shade of grey, nearly black. It's eyes were the opposite though, pure white, and glowing. It doesn't seem to have a mouth though, all I can make out is that it looks as if it was made from a mist. I nearly took a step forward before the thing ducked, so I turned around to think that it was behind me. Katie and Fi-shue didn't notice, since Katie was just gently touching his ear that was full. But Einstein did notice, and his face was solemn, not really carrying an expression of hate, or happiness. Just, sort of in between.

I decided to ask about the figure later, "Well, I have a question. Where's Kilinco?" I asked.

Einstein P.O.V

Jacklynn saw him. I thought he went training with his brother, but clearly he was lying. I hope he doesn't cause more trouble. I heard the question, but another voice interrupted my thoughts...

Well that was unexpected...I thought she didn't even remember-

She doesn't remember. But all of this is new to us, and maybe she has some familiar feelings to this place. How could she remember our names quickly and simply and not forget them? Like I said, it may be familiar...

They stayed silent after that. I wonder why. Jacklynn was looking at me with apparent worry that's covered by a smile. "Well, I have a question. Where's Kilinco?" I smiled, How could I forget. I whistled slightly, "We can see him after we see the rest of the house." Katie turned, her long wavy brown hair bounces as she did, and her green eyes widened in anticipation, "Who is Kilinco?" Before I could answer, Jacklynn jumped in and told her about him and, I may add, a not too shabby description of him; but she did leave out the fact that his eyes changed colors, maybe she wasn't sure, or doesn't want to freak Katie out, as she recalled the time Kilinco chased her for a bit.

Jacklynn P.O.V

As I finished the story, I heard someone clear their throat. I looked to my left. There was a small girl not that much taller than I am. She has white skin and bright blue eyes, her hair is white with dyed yellow roots and blue ends, and most of it is covered with her helmet, which was a golden color. In fact, her whole armour is golden, except her chestplate, which is a grey-silver looking color. She smiled softly, and her voice was gentle, "I'm Kya. I am one of the Spirits of the Weather. I mostly control the wind though." She had a light blush, which I realized, it was also a very faint blue added to the pink.

Katie looked at her in amazement, "You look like a human! That's so cool!" Katie walked over and inspected her. "Well, this is a form that I choosed. Most other Spirits don't get to, or want to choose a form." I noticed that she has some sort of mark on her armour that looked like a necklace. I wasn't sure what it meant, but maybe it had some significance. I decided to ask that later as well. I saw something behind her, it was a small black doll. It had a creepy smile with stitches, or is it the fact that the stitches were covering the mouth that make it creepy. It was completely black, but the buttons for eyes were more greyish red, and it's clothes that it wore was a dark brown with reddish splotches on it. It looked at me and Katie, and both of us backed up when it pulled out a needle.

I accidentally backed up into Fi-shue, but that wasn't the reason he was growling. He even grabbed Katie with his tail and kept her close, but the doll stayed put. Even Kya backed up, and slightly hovered in the air with a cold look to her face. The doll put away it's needle, and everyone suddenly calmed down. I was looking at Einstein for an answer, but then realized that he has left the room right after Kya came in here. And he arrived a minute later with Galiek and Kimbu. Kimbu growled at the doll, but the doll made no movements, "Kimbu, back away from E." Galiek commanded, but Kimbu didn't comply. E, which was the doll, suddenly ran off into the hallway, and turn a corner, completely disappearing. I wonder why it ran off. Just then, everyone moved away from the hallway and into another, moving at a relatively slow pace. I broke the silence, "Why are we moving this way? What's going on? Why is E dangerous? Who is E, and why did he run-" Everyone stopped except Katie, who kept walking, until, "Listen, you don't know what he's capable of. We had to warn-" Einstein started, but instantly shut up, as if someone told him to. He started biting his lip, and his eyes were dull. I wondered what was going on, until Katie asked, "W-what's wrong?" I looked at her, and then I saw where everyone else was looking; right behind me. "What's going on?" I asked slowly. Everyone moved away from me slightly, and I heard the growl of Kilinco somewhere in the crowd.

I then felt something behind me, not physical, but it felt like someone was behind me, and very angry. I wasn't sure who.

"And you're not going to look? Typical, I always find you in that situation..." He said. His voice was dark and deep, with a slight hint of patience, but not that much to call him a kind man. I turned around to protest, and now I know why everyone was afraid. He is very tall, almost twice as tall as me, but not entirely. His skin is a very dark grey, nearly black, with claws on the end of his fingers. And his eyes were a dark bloody red, and his clothes are red as well. He gave a cold glare to everyone, but not me, but when he did look at me, I instantly wished he wasn't.

"Aren't you going to greet me?" He sneered.
