"Gillian?" Elena asked after she had knocked on the door of his chamber several times. "It's me, Elena."

Jon stood next to her, nerves wrecking his body. He didn't know what to expect, Elena told him that Gillian was brought back from the dead. He had seen him before after he had just arrived from Castle Black. He only saw him, cowering in the corner of the room. Robb had told him that it might be best for the both of them to just leave that for another time. Now that time was here and Jon wasn't sure if he wanted to see his old friend.

Slowly the door opened, revealing Gillian's dark brown eyes as he peered through the tiny split.

"I've brought Jon, he's an old friend of us." Elena said. After she had woken up from whatever she had, she had spent the last days talking to Gillian. Mostly she told him about who he was, what he and she mostly did back then. Gillian mostly remained silent, listening to the sound of her voice. Elena knew that it was difficult for him because no matter how much she told him about who he used to be, he couldn't remember anything. All the while Elena had been avoiding her brother. After seeing those memories she didn't know how to talk to him.

"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Jon whispered in elena's ear when Gillian continued to stare at him with squinted eyes. Jon, on the other hand, had spent most of the past few days discussing war plans with Robb. He became a kind of second hand of the king, giving Robb advice. They were planning on marching forward. Since the Lannisters took Moat Cailin again Robb planned to take it back.

"It will be fine Jon." Elena said. Deep inside though she knew that Gillian wasn't exactly becoming better. Instead his health became worse every day. Gillian started to forget simple words, had trouble pronouncing them and sometimes he just randomly started to scream.

It was extremely painful to watch such an attack, he would cover his ears with his hands and would press his eyes shut. His screams always sounded tormented. After such attacks Gillian was always silent, staring at something in front of him even though Elena would try to talk to him. His wound in his chest also refused to heal, no matter what Ella tried to do. Gillian had also started to sometimes scratch his skin, to find out if he could still  bleed. Which he couldn't.

Steven had told her to put him down now that she still could. He told her about something that had happened before, another human that had been raised from the dead. He had become like a monster, almost like a white walker but then without the icy eyes and cold skin. The man had killed those who he loved before he had died without any second thought. Elena knew though that she couldn't give up on Gillian just yet. She had to atleast try.

"Gillian?" Elena repeated, her green eyes scanning what she could see of his face. Slowly the door opened further, giving Jon and Elena the room to enter.

"So-sorry." Gillian stuttered, frowning when he had trouble with such a small word. He sighed and stuffed his hands in the pockets of his trousers.

Jon eyed him up and down. Gillian had lost a lot of weight, you could see his bones even through his shirt. His eyes were dull and empty.

"How is the..." Gillian started, his eyes lighted up for the smallest of seconds before he started to frown again, his hands waving in the air as he searched for the word. "The uuh.."

"Yes?"

"Plan, the plan. How far is Robb with the plan?" Gillian looked up at Jon for a moment, knowing he had been discussing about it with Robb.

"We're leaving in a few days." Jon said. "To be honest, I'm glad we are. Winterfell feels different after all this time, now it only brings back bad memories."

"Oh and Gillian?" Elena started. "Have you finished your letter for your mother?."

"My. My- my mother?" Gillian's eyes widened.

"Yes, the letter we talked about? We can;'t leave her in the dark. She has to at least know that you're alive." Elena frowned. "We talked about this yesterday, remember?"

"No..." Gillian started to pace, his hands waving through his hair as he squinted his eyes.

"I can't remember." Gillian muttered. Elena looked at Jon, knowing that this was difficult for him. "Why can't I remember?"

"I'm so sorry." Gillian muttered, pacing faster.

Gillian shouted suddenly, making Jon and Elena jump slightly. "Mother, mother... Who's my mother? Who is she?"

"Gillian, try to calm down okay? Just take a few deep breaths." Elena soothed him by laying her hand on his shoulder.

"Shut up!" Gillian yelled and pushed her away.

"Elena." Jon grasped her arm tightly. "Can I speak to you for a moment?"

"Mother... Tomorrow?" Gillian continued to pace.

"In private?" Jon pressed.

"Yeah." Elena sighed and followed Jon out of the room and closed the door behind her.

"This is wrong." Jon said immediatelly. "That thing in there, whatever it is, it isn't Gillian."

"Jon-"

"No, Elena. Whatever you're trying to accomplish with him I don't think you'll succeed. This, this creature, it's not anywhere near to being Gillian. You're only hurting yourself with this."

" That "creature" in there, Jon, that is my friend. He gave up everything to save a boy he didn't even know back in the battle at Dreadfort. Don't you believe that we have to at least try to get him back?! It's the least we could do after all he did to help other People." Elena snapped and then sighed, wrapping her arms around her body. "Look, I get it why you're anxious about it. I am too. But after all that we've been through, all the battles, all our losses, Ramsay... I can't give up on something as simple as this. How can I trust myself to defeat a whole army if I can't even safe one goddamn friend?"

"This is different." Jon said.

Elena bit on her lip, trying to stop herself from hitting him. "We're not executing him. End of story."

Elena nuzzled herself in the crook of Robb's neck, sighing when she couldn't fall back asleep. She wrapped her arms around his bare chest, opening her eyes. She saw the scars on his chest, the scars the arrows from back at the Red Wedding had formed there. She softly traced the patterns, thinking that maybe they should've all died there.

Unwraaping herself from his arms and wrapping the  sheets around her naked body Elena stood up and walked towards the window. She sat down next to it and stared outside at the courtyard.

Grey Wind opened its eyes when he heard her soft footsteps, standing up from his part of the bed and walking towards Elena. The dire wolf then laid back down next to Elena, his head placed on her bare thigh.

"Hey, Grey wind." Elea chuckled softly amd ran her hand through his soft fur. "Guess you can't sleep too, huh?" Elena whisperred and looked back out of the window. It was peaceful out there, dark but calm. In some weird way the darkness soothed her.

"Elena?" Robb groaned when he woke, his hands searching for her boddy. He opened his eyes when he didn't feel her, seeing Elena sitting next to a window.

"Goodmorning." Elena smiled briefly after hearing his deep muscular morning voice.

"You'll get a cold, my lady." Robb sighed and closed his eyes again. He then stood up, put on some trousers and walked towards her.

"I'm fine." Elena slightly smiled up at him and then looked back out of the window.

"No you're not. You still can't sleep." Robb sat down on the opposite of her, softly petting his wolf. "It's still Ramsay, isn't it?"

Elena nodded. "It's hard to get him out of your head to be honest." Elena looked at Robb's eyes. "Mostly though I see Louis or Jon, sometimes your mother. Maybe Ramsay was right after all. targaryens are known for their talent in spilling blood."

"Yes and Baratheons are known to be strong. Do you see Tommen lifting like the Mountain can?"

"No, no.." Elena chuckled softly and then sighed. "You get my point."

"And you get mine." Robb held her chin softly, forcing her to look at him. "It doesn't matter from who you descent, all that matters is what's inside." Robb softly stroked her cheek, looking at the gentleniss in her eyes. "and you, my lady, don't exactly look like a fire-spitting dragon."

"And you don't look like a dire wolf but you're still a Stark." Elena chuckled lightly when Robb groaned in annoyance.

"Why can't you just bloody listen for one goddamn time?!" Robb laughed. He shook his head and then looked back at Elena.

"I'm serious though, Elena. It's not like that after you found out about your family that you completelly changed. You're still the same person I knew before." Robb's expression turned serious. "And that person, as stubborn as she may be, doesn't cause death. She protects and saves."

Elena nodded and looked down at her lap. She then sighed and leaned against Robb's chest. He wrapped his arms around her in sheets wrapped body and pulled her closer. Grey Wind hopped off the bench and out of the room.

"When all of this is over, or maybe in a few months if you're eager..."

"Yes?" Elena mumbled.

"Will you marry me?" Robb proposed.

"Robb, we talked about this-" elena sighed afte a few moments of silence.

"Yes, yes." Robb sighed. "You want to protect me from any repeats of the Red Wedding and want me to marry some highborn lady." Robb paused for a moment. "That's why I'm asking you. At least that surname of yours now has a benefit for the two of us."

"Robb..." Elena unwrapped herself from his arms so she could look at him. "I'm a bastard."

"A bastard of Aegon, yes. You might not have heard but Targaryens are quite rare these days." Robb smiled slightly when Elena scoffed. He softly laid his hand on her cheek, his thumb tracking her lips. "You want to protect me, I know. But even guardians need protection some days. Protection that I, as a king and maybe your soon to be husband can provide."

Robb remained silent for a while, looking deep into her eyes. "You also need protection."

"Okay." Elena whisperred, leaning into the palm of his hand.

"okay what?" Robb frowned.

"I'll marry you." Elena smiled when she saw his eyes lighting up, the biggest of smiles covering his face as he started to laugh in glee.

He pulled her closer and pressed his lips against hers, pulling her body closer until she couldn't possibly get any closer. One of his arms wrapped around her waist whilst the other softly touched her bare thigh.

"On one condition." Elena interrupted as she pushed him away softly. Robb looked at her in anticipation. "When I become queen, women will be allowed to join the army."

Robb laughed at that. "Whatever you want, my lady."

"Wait, second condition:" elena said, holding Robb back when he tried to kiss her again. "Every damn time you call me my lady I can slap you without any following punishments or remarks."

"You know you love it." Robb smiled and brought his face closer to hers, his hand following up her thigh.

"Sometimes." Elena smiled and then pressed her lips on his, her arms wrapping around his neck. Robb picked her up with her legs wrapped around his waist and carried her back to their bed.

Robb landed on top when they fell on the bed, smiling down at her as he looked into her twinkling green eyes. "Deal."

Abigail hummed a song called the bear and the maiden fair while she was sharpening her daggers. She was in the middle of the godswood, sitting against the weirwood tree. She got fed up with all the judgimental gazes of the people back in Winterfell. At least here they wouldn't bother judging her.

"That's a great tune."

Abigail jumped on her feet, startled by the all too familiar voice. She grasped her dagger more tightly in her hands. "Great, you. Just who I wanted to see right now."

"Stop with the sarcasm." Ethan growled and stood up from the rock he had been sitting on.

"What do you want, lazy-head?" Abigail tried to look fierce but nevertheless she was shivering in fear.

"I've got another job for you." Ethan said while glaring at her.

"I'm done working for you."

"Yet you will again." Ethan smiled as he started to circle around her.

"Fucking pig-headed potatoe." Abigail muttered under her breath. "And what will you do, sit on your arse while I do all the dirty work for you?"

"Yes." Ethan shrugged.

"Of course you will." Abigail snapped.

"What do you want me to do? Hold your hand? Provide you with words of encouragement?" Ethan said. Abigail bit on her lip and looked away from him.

"This time it's simple." Ethan walked towards her and grasped her chin. "Find out if that little Ella has any brothers or sisters."

Abigail's eyes widened when he said her name. He must've read her thoughts before talking to her.

"When that's done, kill her." Ethan growled. "Or else Damon will find out who his precious daughter really is."
