Ophelia opened her eyes slowly to see a white ceiling. The last thing she remembers is their shock and collapse after saving Emu.

"Don't make this a habit, Ophelia." She turned her head to face Hiiro. Hiiro's eyes are relieved and annoyed at the stunt she pulled. "I'm starting to think you're worse than the intern." She always puts others first before herself and it makes him worry about her well-being.

"How's Emu?" Ophelia asked Hiiro worriedly.

Hiiro sighs heavily and flicks her forehead. She would ask about Emu's condition first before herself. She flinched at the pain and pouts. The genius surgeon ignored her look. "You never failed to ask their condition before yourself. The intern is fine and he's still unconscious."

She sighed in relief to hear Emu's condition but looked worried about how he'd react once he was conscious. "Is he—" Hiiro shook his head in denial and Ophelia lowered her gaze. "I see... not even that song could cure him."

"We'll figure it out, Ophelia." Hiiro assured her and stroked her hand. "Don't worry too much."

"I'll try not too." She made no promises and Hiiro accepted her words for now.

"Get some rest. Sakura made a lie to say you're off sick and you're not working at the moment." Hiiro explained and Ophelia nodded her head. "I mean it, Ophelia." He gave her a pointed look and she glared back.

"Fine." She pouts while crossing her arms in annoyance. Ophelia is on bed rest and Hiiro refused to discharge her.

Before the genius surgeon left, he kissed Ophelia's forehead and Ophelia blushed at his rare affectionate. "He's going to kill me someday." The former goddess whispered once Hiiro left her alone in the room.

"Why didn't a Bugster emerge despite Ophelia saving him?" Hiiro asked curiously. It didn't make sense to him after Ophelia, Kanade and Luna used the Miracle Harmony song to cure Emu but he still has the virus.

"It's a huge relief that Emu's fine, though!" Poppy exclaimed happily relieved her friend was still alive. She glanced in Luna's direction who was recharging at the moment while connecting to the computer. After teleporting them back to their CR base, the female android shut down. Luna's energy was low and needed to recharge.

Haima nodded his head. "It is a huge relief. How's Ophelia-chan?" He asked Hiiro curiously since he insisted on taking care of her.

"She's on bed rest until I say otherwise." Hiiro answered bluntly and looked at the table with a stern expression. "This isn't the time to relax. A Bugster is lying dormant in him and not even their healing could get rid of it."

The director nodded his head once more. "Right! We can't relax just yet."

"Why can't you relax about?" Poppy and Hiiro turned around to see Emu regain his consciousness.

"Of course, that's..." He didn't notice Emu.

"Emu!" Poppy yelled out his name in surprise.

"Yes, exactly!" His eyes widened in shock after hearing Emu's name.

"Yo!" Emu greeted them happily while saluted.

"You need to rest in the quarantine room!" Haima scolded the genius gamer. He couldn't believe Emu left the quarantine room without resting.

"Don't worry about me!" Emu assured Haima while he patted his shoulder.

"Ore?" He muttered and never heard him speaking like that before.

Poppy noticed Emu's personality changed. "He isn't playing a game, but he's in his M's personality!" She exclaimed in shock once Emu sat down right in front of Poppy's game console.

"What is going on?" Hiiro asked and didn't expect Emu's behavior to change after they saved him. "Is this the side effect of the healing song?"

"Recharge 100% and activation on." They turned around to hear Luna's voice. "Alpha-beta-charlie code 2-6-7-9." She opened her eyes slowly to show codes before they disappeared. "Why does it seem like you've seen a ghost?" The female android asked them bluntly.

"Wow!" Luna squeaks as Emu grabs her and examines closer. "You can recharge through the computer!? Does that mean you can access all games too!?" His eyes twinkle in excitement at the thought of playing new games.

"Take your filthy hands off me, human!" Luna snapped and punched his arm to release her. "I have no obligation to answer your question! Unhand me!"

"Luna-chan you have to tell me which game is going publish this month?" Emu asked in a demanding tone while refusing to release Luna.

"LEAVE ME ALONE!"

Luna managed to escape from Emu's grasp and hide inside of Hiiro's coat pocket. The female android refused to get out in fear the genius gamer would manhandle her again. Right now, Emu is busy playing the game console and leaves Haima anxious to see his attitude change.

"Hiiro... I'm scared." Haima whimpered and had never seen Emu addicted to games before. He felt sorry for Poppy while she was getting tired of being stuck inside the game.

"Could he have been possessed by the Bugster due to the propagation of the Game Syndrome?" Hiiro muttered while analyzing Emu's behavior.

"Why don't you ask Ophelia-sama about it?" Luna suggested and poked her head out of his pocket. "I mean— she's the only person who knows Emu longer than us."

Their game scope blares to receive a Bugster alert. "An emergency call at this time!?" Haima exclaimed in panic.

Emu smiled widely and stopped playing. "There it is, there it is!" He exclaimed happily. "Let's go play the game!"

"Game? It's..." Haima was cut off.

"It's a game to defeat the Bugster, right?" The genius gamer asked curiously. "I won't lose to anyone at that!" He patted Haima's shoulder. "I'm off. Alright!" Emu heads off.

"Wait!" Hiiro yelled and chased after him. "Luna call Zilar and Kanade immediately! We need them and Ophelia is on rest."

"Okay! Calling Zilar and Kanade." Luna obeyed his wishes. Hiiro made the right call to let Ophelia rest more.

Zilar is unable to join them because he has work to do leaving Kanade to join Hiiro and Emu. The red-haired woman could tell he was trying to investigate Emu's condition and why he was the first person with Game Syndrome before Zero Day existed.

"Ah, Kana-chan! I'm happy to see you joining us!" Emu exclaimed happily to see the red-haired woman again.

Kanade steps back and is startled at his happy-go-lucky attitude instead of being a shy and polite man. "Wait, Kana-chan? Who are you and what happened to Emu?" She asked and narrowed her gaze at him. 'He wouldn't give me a nickname unless he asked.' The red-haired woman thought.

"It's Emu in his M's personality change." Luna pops out from Hiiro's pocket while answering her question. "We don't know what's the cause of it."

Kanade nodded her head nervously and looked at the woman who was dancing like a robot. "What in the world is she doing?" She couldn't help but ask out loud.

Hiiro used his game scope to examine the woman in front of them. "The Bugster is visible in her."

Asuna finally joined them. "The symptoms are different from usual." She pointed out and noticed Zilar didn't join Kanade. "Maybe the virus has evolved again? Where's Zilar?"

"He has a job to catch up considering he works at the police station." Kanade answered of Zilar's absence. "He'll come around if the enemies we're dealing with are more dangerous than before."

Emu shoved Hiiro and Kanade away. "Anyway, we've found a Game Syndrome patient." He declared and the red-haired woman didn't like his new persona even one bit.

"This woman's body is mine." The woman with a kimono spoke in a male tone while her eyes flashed red. "System start up. Level 30." She transforms into a Bugster.

"Level 30!?" Asuna asked in shock.

Emu's eyes widened in amusement. "Ain't this the last boss of Gekitotsu Robots, Gatton?" He asked curiously and recognized the Bugster. "Here I go!" He placed his driver on the waist.

"Wait, intern!" Hiiro stops Emu from transforming. "You shouldn't be fighting now!" He's worried about his injury and Emu might go berserk again. "Hand the Gashat to me!"

"Hiiro is right." Kanade spoke up and looked at the genius gamer. "You just got recovered and we don't need you to get hurt again."

"Like hell. This is my game." Emu shoved Hiiro's hand.

"My game?" The red-haired woman narrowed her gaze with a stern look. She would never expect this new Emu would think it's fun when their lives are between life and death. "Emu this is serious and stand down!"

"Not gonna happen, Kana-chan." He shook his head in denial and activated his two Gashats.

"Mighty Action X! Gekitotsu Robots!"

Hiiro and Kanade step back while they look surprised to see Emu's eyes flash in red. The female android sees it as well and can't help but gasp in shock. "Already!? After all the hard work they'd done?!" Luna exclaimed in shock.

"Let's play Gekitotsu Robots!" Emu declared with a huge grin. "Dai, Dai, Dai Henshin!"

"Gashatto! Gashatto! Gacchaan! Level up! Mighty Action X! I gotcha, Gekitotsu Robots!"

"I'll clear this with no continues!" The genius gamer announced and ran to fight against Gatton.

"Kanade, do something about this!" Luna pleads and the red-haired woman nods her head.

"I'm on it." Kanade grips her necklace. "𝘊𝘳𝘰𝘪𝘵𝘻𝘢𝘭 𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘻𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘎𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘯𝘪𝘳 𝘻𝘪𝘻𝘻𝘭~" She sings and her clothes changed into Symphogear armor. The red-haired woman bends down to avoid colliding with Emu and summons her spear before throwing it at Gatton in incredible force.

𝘚𝘈𝘎𝘐𝘛𝘛𝘈𝘙𝘐𝘜𝘚∞𝘈𝘙𝘙𝘖𝘞

Asuna gasps in shock to see Gatton get slammed by Kanade's spear. "Wow! I didn't know a Symphogear user like her could match Gatton!" It's her first time seeing Kanade battle without using Game Drive and Gashat or being a Knight.

Emu groaned and got up slowly from crashing the boxes. "Aww man, this is rough with the level difference." He whined while noticing Kanade and Gatton were fighting each other. "I need to keep them up!" The genius gamer glanced up to see a coin item of muscle and gained it.

"Muscle up!" His strength increased.

"Kana-chan, switch!" Emu yelled and Kanade backflips after hearing his yell. The genius gamer throws a punch at Gatton. "Go flying!" He sends Gatton flying and crashes the van.

"Wow..." Luna couldn't help but be impressed at his skills and refused to compliment him after the stunt he pulled today.

"Finding the way to beat a high-level opponent is part of the game's thrill." Emu explained.

Gatton sat up straight and Kanade looked at him curiously. "Energy level low. Switching to Sleep Mode." He announced and went to sleep inside of the woman's body.

Asuna gasps. "The patient's back to normal." She pointed out with a relieved look to see her alright while Luna looked cautious.

"Still... that Bugster is still inside of her." Luna commented and grips on Hiiro's pocket with a wary look.

"Looks like the virus has weakened." Hiiro spoke up after Gatton took a beating from Kanade and Emu.

"For now." Kanade voiced out her thoughts.

"Hey!" Emu walked towards the woman and kneeled. "Wake up!" He slapped her face and the red-haired woman stared at him surprised. "Done already!? Hey! Come out, Gatton! Hey!"

"Emu!" Kanade yelled and grabbed his collar before shoving him away from the woman. "What were you thinking!?" She didn't expect him to be so rude to wake the woman up and force her to bring Gatton back.

"Kana-chan! I'm not done with Gatton." He whined and was desperate to defeat him.

"What did you just say?" She asked coldly and gripped the handle of her spear.

Asuna noticed Kanade's anger and immediately went on Emu's driver to deactivate it. "Gacchaan!Gashuun!" He reverts himself to normal. The disguised nurse didn't want to have a blood fight between Kanade and Emu knowing the red-haired's woman patience was close enough to stab him with her spear.

"What are you doing?" Emu asked Asuna angrily to deactivate his devices.

"The game's already over." Asuna answered calmly and wished their old Emu was back not M's attitude.

"What the heck, man? Lame! It was just getting excited too." He whined and Kanade couldn't help herself but whack his head. "Ow!"

"You're worse than I thought!" Kanade snapped and reverted herself. "Anyway, we need to bring her to the CR." She informed the genius gamer.

Emu is about to complain but her red eyes bore his brown eyes as a warning if he dares to say a word. He gulped in fear and carried the woman. The genius gamer didn't want to make Kanade angrier than she already was.

Ophelia couldn't help but narrow her eyes worriedly at Emu. Luna informed her everything about Emu's strange behavior and couldn't believe he was back to his old self. The female android decided to head back home knowing Emu would pester her again.

"I didn't think this would happen to him after using it." Ophelia whispered and Hiiro heard her.

"Was he like this before?" Hiiro asked her quietly and Ophelia nodded her head sadly.

Ophelia remembered the times when Emu was addicted to the games and hardly taking care of himself. They fought sometimes about his game addictions and nearly fell out of their relationship because of it.

"That persona of his would get on most people's nerves." The former goddess reminded him and exhaled softly. "I hope he isn't worse than he was before."

Hiiro silently used his game scope to scan Emu's condition. The screen shows him goes static and normal condition. It makes them wonder why the Bugster hasn't revealed itself to them yet and is still stuck inside Emu's body.

"The patient, Yamato Mai-san, is awake. We have to talk to her." Asuna announced once she came into the office.

"We're still unable to analyze his condition." Hiiro answered after sensing Asuna's skeptical look from them and turned it off.

"Is it a different strain of Game Syndrome, perhaps?" Ophelia suggested and made sense why her healing powers were unable to purify him completely.

"Anyway, Emu and that patient should be cured if their respective Bugsters are defeated." Asuna suggested and looked at Ophelia at the moment. "Will you be able to fight, Ophie-chan?"

"I'm still weak at the moment after pulling that stunt with the help of Kanade and Luna." Ophelia answered truthfully and wouldn't be able to fight their enemies in full strength because her powers were still weak. "Doctor's orders." She points in Hiiro's direction as he refuses to let her fight.

Emu lowered her game console and sighed in annoyance. "Don't treat me like I'm sick." He snapped at the disguised nurse. "I'm fine already! Just lemme know when Gatton comes out again."

"Emu, are you— ignoring the patient's condition and focusing on defeating Gatton just like that?" The former goddess asked with a disbelief look on her face. She didn't expect he would be this much worse than before.

"What do I care about the patient?" Emu asked her with a confused look and stood up. "Ain't that your job as a doctor?" He asked Hiiro then glanced at her. "As a nurse? And mine's to beat the Bugster." The genius gamer spins his Gashat. "That's how it is." He patted his shoulder.

"Emu..." Ophelia's eyes flashed blue in anger and was about to teach him a lesson.

Hiiro grabs Emu's back collar to turn him around and face him. He clutches Emu's top tight and is annoyed by his behavior. "What're you doing?" Emu asked Hiiro coldly.

"Wake up." Hiiro snapped at him. "This isn't who you are! Curing the patients and retrieving their smiles... that's the real you!" He would never expect Emu would prefer to defeat them than assuring or comforting his patients.

Emu gasps and holds his head in pain as he kneels.

"Emu!" Ophelia called out his name worriedly and kneeled to look at his face worriedly. "Are you—" She touched his shoulder but he shoved her away.

Ophelia squeaks in shock and Hiiro catches her before she can get hurt. Emu stands up weakly to face them. "I told you, I'm fine."

"You're not, Emu!" The former goddess denied and Hiiro pulled her up. "You just got a headache now and pretend it didn't happen?"

"Can you stop nagging me like a child, Ophelia!" Emu snapped at his childhood friend and her eyes widened in shock at his voice raised at her. "You're not even my mother who's nagging me all the time!"

Ophelia looked hurt at his words and lowered her gaze. She's looking after his well-being and still blaming herself for not curing him completely.

Hiiro glares at him and holds back his temper for snapping Ophelia like that. "Forget it." He shook his head and no point in arguing him.

"Eh?" Emu looked confused.

"𝐍𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮 to your presence, intern." Hiiro looked away from him. "I will talk to the patient." He declared and Ophelia looked at him surprised.

Hiiro had never talked to the patient with having Game Syndrome virus before. He always prefers to defeat the Bugster and cure them without talking to the patient.

"Eh? You will!?" Asuna asked with a disbelief look on her face.

"There is nothing the intern can do that I cannot." Hiiro pointed out and Ophelia looked hesitant. He bends and takes Emu's Gashat. "As you are now, you are no doctor." He declared and demoted Emu as a doctor then walked away.

"Hey. That's mine. Give it back." Emu tries to get his Gashat back and Ophelia stops him. "Ophelia..."

Her eyes flashed blue at the moment before reverting to hazel. "It may be yours, to begin with... however, with your attitude like that? I don't trust you." She walked away from him.

Asuna holds Emu back from going to Ophelia and Hiiro.

"I've been practicing for the upcoming traditional Japanese dance performance." Mai explained her situation to Hiiro. "But... I couldn't take the pressure of representing the long traditions of Taki no Ryuu." She clenches her hands tight nervously at the thought of failing. "I wonder if I'm suited for it..."

"Who longs for you to be on stage... but you, yourself?" Hiiro asked Mai as she looked away. "Whether you are suited for it or not... that doubt... is due to your weak resolve."

"My resolve..." Mai trailed off her thoughts. "Might be true. But the performance is just around the corner. With my condition, it's already..."

"Overcoming stress." Hiiro cuts her off. "...is something you must do on your own."

Mai feels the throbbing pain in her head and groans. Her eyes flashed red as Gatton took over her body. "System rebooted." Hiiro dodges the swing. "Data Form. Transferring." He teleports inside the computer and leaves Hiiro.

"Oh no." Hiiro panics to see him escape from the quarantine room. He leaves and his gaze sets on Ophelia. She sits down on the bench alone and hugs her knees to bend her head. "Ophelia..." He whispered and Ophelia lifted her head to see his face.

"Hiiro..." Ophelia whispered still upset by Emu's words but masking her emotions. "How's Mai-san?" She asked worriedly about the patient.

"The Bugster showed up and escape." Hiiro answered and she hummed. "I know where he goes and I'm going after him."

"Be careful, Hiiro. Call Kanade or Zilar to assist you." Ophelia suggested and the genius surgeon nodded his head. "The Bugsters are getting stronger and you need help." She didn't mention Luna's name knowing she would run away from Emu.

"I will and what Emu said to you? Ignore it." He strokes her head and Ophelia's eyes widen in surprise. The genius surgeon could see her true emotions no matter how much she hid from them. "You're still blaming yourself because Emu's personality changed after you sang it with the other two. It's one of your traits to worry about our well-being and the intern has no right to snap at you like that."

"Hiiro..." Ophelia's eyes watered and holds them back. "Thank you for cheering me up. You should go before Gatton harms them." Hiiro didn't feel an item in his pocket.

"I hate seeing you like this. I prefer the happy and serene Moon." He patted her head and left Ophelia alone in the hallway.

She smiles softly and wishes Hiiro's safety. The former goddess slipped her purple crystal into his pocket before he left her. A purple crystal could help him in his situation.

Kanade finally caught up with Hiiro to meet him outside the concert stadium. The red-haired woman didn't complain about seeing him alone because she didn't want to deal with Emu's ego.

Hiiro glanced at her side and silently thanked her for helping him while she nodded her head. He placed his driver on his waist and looked at the Mighty X Gashat.

"Mighty Action X!" Hiiro activates the Gashat.

"𝘊𝘳𝘰𝘪𝘵𝘻𝘢𝘭 𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘻𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘎𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘯𝘪𝘳 𝘻𝘪𝘻𝘻𝘭~" Kanade activates her relic and transform into Symphogear armor.

Gatton turned around after seeing the game area was activated. He spotted Kanade in her Symphogear form and Hiiro. "Enemy spotted."

"Hensh—" Someone snatched the Gashat out from Hiiro's grasp.

"This is my Gashat." They turned around to see Emu.

Hiiro takes it back. "Don't get in the way of the operation!" He snapped.

"I said that I'd beat the Bugster!" Emu held it tighter and shoved Hiiro away.

"Hiiro!" Kanade cried out his name worriedly before glaring at Emu. "What's the big idea!?" She helped Hiiro up.

Emu ignores the red-haired woman and grips his Gashat. "Dai Henshin!"

"Stop it!" Hiiro yelled. He tries to stop Emu but is stubborn and refuses to listen.

"Gashatto! Gacchaan! Level up! Mighty Action X!" Emu smirked and summoned his weapon. "Gashacon Breaker!" He holds the handle of his Breaker weapon.

"Here I go!" Emu yelled and deflected the blast from Gatton's gun.

"His ego is going to get him more trouble!" Kanade grumbled in annoyance and stopped Hiiro from joining. "Stay here, Hiiro. Ophelia would get more worried if anything happened to you." She reminded him and Hiiro stopped.

Asuna finally caught up and heard Kanade's words. "Kanade is right. You don't need to be reckless out there."

"I'll help him despite my annoyance." Kanade summons her arm gear and jumps. "Move, Emu!" She yelled at the genius gamer.

Emu cried out in shock and dodged it after seeing Kanade spin around with her spear.

𝘈𝘕𝘛𝘈𝘙𝘌𝘚∞𝘉𝘜𝘚𝘛𝘌𝘙

Kanade is about to land a hit on Gatton when someone kicks her on the side and crashes Emu. The red-haired woman groaned and glared at the newcomer.

"You..." The red-haired woman recognized the former CEO.

"Genm!" Emu cried out his name angrily and pushed Kanade.

Kanade and Emu are teaming up to fight against Gatton and Kuroto. Kanade is dealing with Kuroto while Emu is dealing with Gatton. The red-haired woman clashed her spear against Kuroto's sparrow as they were trying to see which one of them would give in.

"I'm going to destroy you first and deal with Barron Ophelia Selene and Argent Zilar next." Kuroto vowed to destroy the three as they were a threat to ruin his plans.

"I won't let you harm my friends for as long as I live." Kanade declared and pushed him successfully. She would never let anyone harm her friends after being given a second chance to live.

𝘉𝘈𝘔𝘉𝘖𝘖∞𝘕𝘌𝘉𝘜𝘓𝘈

She spins her spear above her head before piercing the ground with it, bamboos come out of the ground below Kuroto, piercing before landing in front of him. Kuroto destroyed Kanade's attack before it landed another hit. The former CEO took his new Gashat and activated it.

"Taddle Fantasy! Let's go, King of Fantasy!" The dark maroon chibi armor appeared.

Emu struggled to get up after taking a lot of hits from Gatton while Kanade glared at Kuroto darkly. "Crap..." He swears under his breath.

Hiiro runs and snatches Emu's Gashat out from his drive while the red-haired woman stares at him in confusion. The genius surgeon showed the Gashat to Kuroto.

"What are you doing!?" Emu asked Hiiro.

"Try taking the Gashat... if you can!" Hiiro taunts Kuroto.

Kuroto glares at Hiiro behind the mask. "Go." He ordered the dark maroon armor.

It flew and tried to tackle him but Hiiro dodged it. It shoots beams at Hiiro and he runs to avoid getting hit. His whole body glowed purple to boost up his speed and he ran towards the wall before backflipping.

'Since when did my body glow like—' Hiiro feels heavy from his pocket and takes it out to reveal a purple crystal. 'Ophelia.' He thought of his ex-lover and didn't expect she would give him a boost to help.

Kana shook her head in amusement before sighing. "She never changed huh?" The red-haired woman knew Ophelia would find a way to help them without getting involved in their fight.

Hiiro runs across the edge and uses the barrier to protect himself from the attack. He kneels and looks at the dark maroon chibi armor. "There is nothing the intern can do... that I cannot!" The genius surgeon declared and stayed right next to the coin item.

The dark maroon chibi armor dashed off towards Hiiro and he dodged it as the armor gained the coin item as Hiiro predicted it. "Confusion"

Kanade smirked in amusement. "He did it and who knew Ophelia-chan got a smart boyfriend like him?" She whispered under her breath.

It looked confused and attacked Kuroto instead. Kanade took this as an opportunity to attack them.

𝘎𝘙𝘈𝘝𝘐𝘛𝘠∞𝘗𝘈𝘐𝘕

She leaped up into the air and delivered a powerful downward thrust with her armed gear to cause a huge explosion on them. The new Gashat was released from Kuroto's grasp and Hiiro snatched it. Asuna gasps to see Hiiro obtain the new Gashat.

"He got Genm's Gashat!" She yelled in shock.

Kuroto chuckled weakly and realized their plan. Kanade stepped back to let Hiiro be the bait knowing he would use King Fantasy Gashat and attack him. Hiiro lured the dark maroon chibi armor and obtained the confusion item to attack them while using it as a distraction to let Kanade unleash one of her attacks.

"I see! You two put some thought into it." Kuroto commented and was amused at their successful plan. "But it's no use. That Gashat is Level 50." He reminded Hiiro and stood up. "Someone like you who has only attained Level 5 will not be able to handle it."

"But I will." Hiiro assured him and accepted the risk of using the new Gashat. He activated the new Gashat.

"Taddle Fantasy! Let's going, King of Fantasy! Let's going, King of Fantasy!"

"Henshin!" Hiiro placed the Gashat in his drive.

"Dual Gashat! Gacchaan! Dual up! Pursue wander RPG, Taddle Fantasy!" Everyone is surprised at his new transformation.

Hiiro grunted in pain and his eye mask glowed in red at the enormous darkness around him.

"Brave... Level 50!" Asuna whispered and couldn't help but awe at his transformation.

Hiiro yelled out in pain and his eyes flashed red. Kanade couldn't help but worry about his condition. The genius surgeon turned his body and faced them as he flapped his cape to summon the Bugsters.

"Hiiro, snap out of this!" Kanade yelled out worriedly while gripping her spear tight and attacked the Bugster.

"Is this for real?" Emu whispered as he helped Kanade out.

Kuroto chuckled in amusement to see Hiiro switching sides after using the new Gashat. "It took over your body?" He asked the genius surgeon.

Kanade clicks her tongue in annoyance and grabs Asuna's waist as she squeaks in shock at the gesture. The red-haired woman jumps into the air with Asuna and slashes the air with her Armed Gear to create a shockwave rushing toward the Bugsters.

𝘗𝘖𝘞𝘌𝘙∞𝘚𝘏𝘐𝘕𝘌

It destroyed half of the Bugsters and landed safely to release Asuna. "You okay?" She asked the disguised nurse worriedly.

"Yeah, thank you, Kanade-san!" She thanked the red-haired woman.

The purple crystal shined on Hiiro's hand while he clapped it to regain his senses. "Don't lump me... together with the intern." He growled and remembered Ophelia's smile and faith in him.

The Bugsters stopped their attacks and the others looked shocked to see them halt. "He did it..." Kanade whispered and smiled in relief to see Hiiro was still with them.

"What?" Kuroto stared at Hiiro in shock.

"I am... "Hiiro opened his arms and the purple crystal glowed died and turned into dust. He wasn't worried about it knowing the crystal provided him enough to regain his senses. "...the world's best... doctor!" He flapped his cape to return the Bugsters. "I won't let anyone take control of me. The strong resolve to accomplish a mission... a strong resolve... is the sign of a doctor entrusted with people's lives!" His eyes no longer flashed red. 'My moon is waiting and supports me till the very end. I'll become a better man for her and fix the relationship we had in the past.' He vowed not only to prioritize his job as a doctor but also his love for Ophelia.

"Doctor..." Emu whispered and his words struck him. He grunted and felt the pain in his head. Both females are looking at him worriedly.

"Emu!?" Asuna called out his name worriedly.

The pain is too much for him to handle and reverts to normal. "Gashuun!" Kanade caught him in her arms and released her spear.

"Emu, Emu. Stay with me." Kanade whispered scared that he would go back to being berserk again.

"Ka-Ka-Kanade-san?" The red-haired woman sighed in relief to see a sign to have their Emu back. "What was I...?" He whispered.

"Did you just say boku?" Asuna asked with a hopeful look on her face.

"Emu, you're back!" Kanade couldn't help but hug Emu as he yelled in surprise at the gesture. "We were so worried about you!"

"Ka-Ka-Kanade-san!" Emu stuttered and blushed furiously at her actions while trying to pull away.

"He made the dark lord's power his own!?" Kuroto couldn't believe what he's seeing right now. He remembered the purple crystal in his hand. "That crystal protected you from it?"

Hiiro ignored his question. "Commencing Bugster removal operation." He declared and summoned his own Bugsters to attack Kuroto and Gatton.

Kanade simply watches on the sidelines to let Hiiro fight Hiiro instead. He wanted to test out his new abilities by using his telekinesis to lift Gatton and slam him on every side of the building then throw him out of the building.

Gatton crashed on the ground and Hiiro landed safely. Hiiro is about to defeat Gatton but someone intervenes to stop him and reveal it's Kuroto. "If you're using my Gashat... then I'll respond in kind." He declared and held his sword weapon.

"Gashacon sword!"

Hiiro fought them without Kanade's help. He deflects any of their attacks by using his own forcefield and flash steps away from them. The genius surgeon spins his cape to turn into a drill and hits them. His eyes glowed and summoned the knights to hit them.

Kuroto growled in annoyance and used one of his Gashats. "Taddle Quest! Gashatto! Drago Knight Hunter Z! Gashatto! Finisher!" He activated two final attacks in each Gashat to combine it. "Taddle Drago Knight Critical Finish!"

Hiiro recognized his sword. "That is my scalpel. I need you to return it." He declared and vowed to retrieve the Gashats' back been stolen. The genius surgeon activated his final attack.

"Gacchaan! Finisher! Gacchaan! Taddle Critical Slash!"

Both attacks collide with each other and Hiiro's attack overpowered it to cancel Kuroto and Gatton's attack. They're being swallowed by the dark maroon aura while Hiiro spins around before his right leg glows. He kicks them hard as Gatton is finally defeated and Kuroto loses his two Gashats.

"Victory! Game clear!" It declared Hiiro as a winner while Mai is back to herself and no longer has the Game Syndrome.

Hiiro kneels and takes the two Gashats back. Kuroto struggled to get up and used his device to absorb Gatton's essence. "Looks like I underestimated you." The former CEO commented and finally stood up.

"Gachoon!" He fled.

Hiiro stared at the two Gashats in his hand and reverted to normal. "Gacchaan! Gashuun!" He kneels as his heart throbbing in pain after using the Level 50 Gashat.

'I didn't know this would be the side effect of using Level 50 Gashat.' Hiiro thought and tried to conceal his pain before anyone could see him. The genius surgeon needs to check Mai.

Hiiro finished analyzing Mai's condition and no longer has Game Syndrome. "The operation is complete." He informed the dancer after placing the game scope back to his neck.

Mai smiled in relief and stood up to thank him. "I'm truly grateful to you." She bowed her head. "I'll do my best... "Turned around to see the poster of the Japanese Dance Performance Taki no Ryuu and planned to invite him to see her performance. "...with a strong resolve like yours, Kagami-sensei. If you don't mind, I'd like to invite you to the performance." She hopes Hiiro will accept her invitation.

Hiiro looked away and knew where it led. "I'm sorry. It is my policy not to get involved with the patients." He walked away and had someone in his heart waiting for him. The genius surgeon feels the pain and masks it before anyone can notice.

Hiiro stops to see Emu, Asuna and Kanade. The three of them noticed his presence and the red-haired woman smiled slightly. "I'm glad it went well, Hiiro. Our Emu is back to his usual self." Kanade broke the silence and elbowed Emu's ribs as he hissed in pain.

Asuna nodded her head for confirmation. "Kanade-san is right, Emu is awakened."

"I'm sorry!" Emu apologized for his behavior and bowed his head. "I don't know why I behaved that way." Hiiro throws his Mighty Action X Gashat and Emu catches it.

Hiiro stepped down and stopped his walk. "Just train your mental strength... if you still feel like being a doctor. You should also apologize to Ophelia as well for hurting her feelings. She may act like she's alright but it's not." The genius surgeon walked away from them.

Kanade glanced at Emu and patted his shoulder. "He's not wrong. I don't know what you said to her but whatever it is... I'm sure it'll solve things." She assured him.

"Yeah..." Emu answered weakly looking at his Gashat in deep thought. 'I should apologize for making Fee-chan worried... knowing she still blames herself for not curing me.' He thought and intended to talk to her.
