Life, the most precious thing an individual could possibly own. I was one of those countless individuals blessed with the gift of life. Unfortunately, I was far too careless with my life, and it was taken from me by a murderer that was running through the streets. It was such a shame too. I was looking forward to working on that project with my coworker, Satoru. Oh, forgive my rudeness, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is, or should I say WAS, Mizuna Tatsuma. I was a thirty-two year old woman living in a country known as Japan. As I mentioned before, my life came to an abrupt end at the hands of a murderer. After that, I thought that I would eventually pass on to join the goddess Izanami in the afterlife. However, that never happened, because instead of moving on to the afterlife, I was given another chance at life, and I was sent off to begin a new life in another world. Ah, I should probably cease my chatter, for my soul has almost reached its new destination. I shall see you later.

Ah, it would seem that I've finally arrived in the new world. However, when I opened my eyes to take a look at my surroundings, all that I saw was darkness all around me. Oh? It seems that magic exists in this world, and I possess it. One of the powers I possess seems to be called Magic Sense, and it apparently will allow me to see my surroundings. Alright then, let's activate this so called Magic Sense. Almost instantly, my field of view is switched to the outside, and I finally see the reason for me only seeing darkness. It would seem that the creature that I had become is currently inside quite a large egg, the majority of which was a yellow color, save for a reddish-orange bottom, and neon blue markings all around the sides.
Suddenly, there's a cracking noise. Ah, it would seem that I am about to hatch. Well, I better deactivate my Magic Sense then. I do so, and the egg that I am inside bursts open, with pieces of the shell flying in every direction imaginable. As soon as I gathered my senses once more, I looked down and saw two bird legs in place of my former human ones. I tried looking at my hands, and I found feathers in their place. It would seem that my arms and hands have been replaced with wings. So it appears I have been reborn as some sort of bird creature. My hearing seems to have improved immensely, because I could hear everything within a ten mile radius. I heard the sounds of flowing water nearby, so I stood up and made my way to the source of the noise. Once I made my way to the source of the noise, which turned out to be a river, I decided to take a look at my reflection in order to see just exactly what I had become. I looked down at the water, and staring right back at me was a small avian styled dragon that had bright blue eyes bordered by red markings, yellow feathers along the body and wings, which faded to red at the ends. Atop my head sat two tiny little black horns, with similar bits on the joints on my wings. Instead of feathers, cream colored scales ran down from my neck to my underside.
My time looking at my reflection was cut short, because I felt several presences behind me. I turned around to see several creatures gathered, looking at me. The first of the creatures was a black panther cub that had white markings on his face and neck.
The second creature was a red snake that had red eyes, and orange colored scales on his torso.
The third and final creature was a young griffin clad in white feathers that faded to brown the ends, and a long tail that had a tuft of brown fur at the end.
"Look, look! It's a hatchling dragon! I've never seen one before!" The young griffin says excitedly.
"Be quiet, White Griffin, you fool! She's only just hatched, you could frighten her!" The red snake says, scolding the former.
"I agree with him. We are strangers to the young dragon. We do not want to frighten her by getting too close or being too loud." The black panther says calmly.
"You three do as you please. I just want to see what she does." He continued, both looking and sounding quite bored with his three friends.
"Right. Now that your little spat is over, mind telling me where I am?" I ask the three.
"Oh yeah! You're on the continent the humans are calling Draicrux (dry-crew-ks)! There aren't that many of them right now, but there's gonna be tons of humans soon!" The white griffin says.
"And what about your names?" I asked them, which seemed to confuse them. The black panther eventually spoke up.
"You wouldn't know this since you've hatched just a few minutes ago, but the monsters of this world do not possess names. That privilege is exclusive only to humans." He says calmly once more.
"Why don't I just give you names then? It seems easy enough." I say, shocking the four of them.
"Are you completely crazy?! Naming a monster takes up a bunch of your magicules, and using too many of them could kill you!" The red snake says in shock.
"But wait, can't you sense the insane amount of magicules coming from her? According to Veldora, all dragons possess an unfathomable amount of power, even right at birth. So naming a few monsters like us shouldn't even put a dent in her." The black panther says, earning a simple 'Oh.' from the red snake.
"Alright then, let's get to it. Starting things off, I think the name Ashe would suit you well." I say to the black panther, and he glows a bright light before returning to normal. Next, I turned to the white griffin.
"I think I should call you Yun (like from Yona of the Dawn.)." I say to him, and he glows the same light as Ashe did, and he ran around happily at his new name. Finally, I turned to face the red snake.
"And lastly, I'll call you Pyrrhus (peer-us), which means flame-colored and red, like the color of your scales." I say to him, and he nods as well before glowing like his three friends.
"But wait, what about you? You don't have a name!" Yun says worriedly, and I shook my head at this.
"You can relax, Yun. I think it's fitting that I should receive the name Jupiter, which is the name of a great star far up in the sky." I say, and I received the same glow as they did before I went back to normal.
"Alright! Now that we've all got our own names, I say that we should go explore!" Yun says excitedly, and we all set off on our journey.

Around ten thousand years have passed since I was reborn into this world, and I've grown quite accustomed to it. As time passed, Ashe, Yun, Pyrrhus and I all evolved and grew. For me, I grew to a massive size, becoming almost as big as a large house, and some of my feathers had gained a bit of a black tint to them.
For Ashe, he grew into a panther that was the size of a large tiger, he gained white markings all around his body, and his tail split itself into three tails.
For Yun, he matured into an adult griffin, growing to a size a bit larger than Ashe, and he gained an orange coloring to some of the feathers around his head and neck.
And lastly, for Pyrrhus, he grew to a gargantuan size, just barely smaller than a castle. Along with his massive size, he also gained two more eyes on the sides of his face, and a fifth eye on the top of his head, as well as some horns on the sides of his head.
Along with our matured forms, we also gained the ability to transform into humans, with features from our true forms. For Ashe, his human form was that of a young man with black hair and black eyes, along with a pair of panther's ears and a long, singular black tail. Why he only has one tail in this form instead of his usual three is a mystery to all of us.
For Yun, his human form was that of a teenage boy with ash blonde hair and blue eyes, as well as a pair of wings with brown tipped feathers.
And for Pyrrhus, his human form had long white hair with red tips, and reddish-brown eyes, and his eyes were slit like a reptile's eyes.
As for me, well, it's a bit awkward, to say the least. Why, you might ask? Well, despite me being female, as well as the only female of our group, I was constantly mistaken for a male, but that's almost instantly averted once I start talking. A tad bit annoying, but I guess it's my fault to to hating short hair in my past life, so whatever was used to help me transform thought that's what I wanted. Not that I'm complaining, I just would have liked a bit more say in that matter.
Besides that, countless things have happened since we met. Over the centuries, the human populations in this world have flourished, with multiple groups of them going on to form their own kingdoms, such as Blummund and Ingracia. Other races, like the dwarves, formed their own kingdoms, with the dwarves naming their nation The Armed Nation of Dwargon. As for Veldora, that dumbass got himself into quite the sticky situation a few hundred years ago, and wound up trapped in a hero's skill, which they called Unlimited Imprisonment. As for our group, the other races ended up dubbing us The Guardians, a group of monsters that boasted unfathomable strength, so much so that not even every human, dwarf, monster, and demon lord combined could hope to defeat the four of us. It was nice and all, being so powerful, but it also kinda sucked, because whenever we went out, every low ranking monster would run for the hills due to the sheer amount of magical aura we had, which resulted in us having to learn how to hide our auras just so we could socialize with other beings.
"So, you know that village with the hobgoblins and direwolves that I've been talking about?" Yun asks the group.
"Of course we do, why do you ask?" Ashe asks.
"Well, I've heard through the grapevine that the one who's running that village, some slime called Rimuru Tempest, recently came back from some trip to Dwargon, and the dude came back with the best blacksmiths they have, Kaijin included!" He says.
"Wow, you don't see that everyday. We should go check this village out." I say, and they all nodded, before we all got up and began the journey over to the hobgoblin village.
