MY EYES slowly fluttered open and I looked around confused siting up with a hand on my head

"Kassandra" A voice filled with relief sounded next to me and after a few seconds I realized Leo is the one standing next to me "Piper did it" he murmured helping me stand up, now realizing I was back to my normal clothes instead of the purple dress.

"Yeah..." I mumbled, shaking my head

"She's new" A new voice sounded, suddenly making me tense up as I felt the air shift with a bad vibe. I slowly looked up seeing a man with brown hair and green eyes looking at me with crossed arms on the other side of the attic

I gasped slightly backing away, hiding my necklace with my hand and going behind Leo, feeling for some reason tired

"That's Cole, Kassandra" Leo told me softly, noticing the slight fear on my eyes as I tried putting distance between us.

I looked at Cole with furrowed eyebrows seeing the dark aura around him, knowing he was a demon and because Phoebe had told me about him

"You're a demon" I said bluntly frowning at Cole.

Cole looked at Leo quizzically "How does she know?"

"Are you evil?" I asked him suspiciously before Leo could say anything

"What are you?" Cole asked me, I narrowed my eyes

"I asked first" I told him, he sighed in annoyance

"No, I'm not evil" Cole said impatiently

"But you're a demon" I pointed out, he sighed again

"Yeah, thank you for pointing that out, I didn't know" Cole said sarcastically "Now that you know and keep repeating it, it's your turn. What are you?"

"She's the Guardian, Cole" Leo interrupted me as i opened my mouth.

Cole's green eyes snapped at me in surprise "The other's dead already? That was fast"

"Phoebe says you are evil" I told him, crossing my arms

"Okay, Kass, let's go downstairs" Leo interrupted my glare to Cole turning me around to the door, pushing me gently to walk "If you're awake, then that means Paige is as well"

"Paige? Why would she be asleep?" I asked confused

"Like you, she fell victim of the witch. You as the Sleeping Beauty and Paige as Snow White" Leo explained.

"How?"

"The apple" Leo simply explained. I gasped stopping abruptly

"But that means..." Leo sighed nodding slowly "She died?" My voice suddenly turned smaller.

"Kass..." Leo touched my shoulder, his eyes full of concern and sadness "In this version, Aurora didn't fell asleep either. She had been cursed to die...."

My breath hitched in remembrance. In the version my father had read to me about Sleeping Beauty, Aurora had been poisoned with the prickle of the spinning wheel so she could die an hour after being poisoned, the prince saving her right on time before the hour struck

"Tell me I wasn't asleep for more than an hour" I pleaded Leo, tears slowly gathering on my eyes at the thought of me dying.

Leo sighed looking down, not answering. What?!

"You did, Kassandra" Leo told me softly. I chocked a gasp, looking down in shock

"B-but, h-how? All of you... The magic..." I managed to ask, remembering everything Sally said it would happen if I died.

"As soon as we read the Sleeping Beauty book and knowing what happened, Penny suggested to do a spell to slow down the time on your body" Leo explained softly

"Granted it only worked on your magic. So you still died" Cole said bluntly but it didn't seem he was doing it to make me feel bad "But your magic didn't, so it was as if you didn't die. So no chaos for the magical community"

That didn't feel reassuring at all but as long as everyone else was safe. It was like some weight lifting from my shoulders.

"God..." I murmured overwhelmed, Leo nodded in understanding

"Come on, Kassandra. They will want to see you awake and okay" he told me softly, smiling slightly but still looking concerned.

I nodded numbly and we both continued on our way down. Cole stopping looking over his shoulder frowning and returned back up stairs quickly

As soon as we reached the bottom, I was engulfed in a couple of arms.

"Oh, my god!" Paige exclaimed in relief "You're awake! We thought... Oh, you're awake!" She said pulling away cupping my cheeks. I smiled slightly, also looking at her in relief knowing she had been on the same predicament as I.

I looked around the living room noticing a glass case and little people around it, in confusion

"What's the glass coffin for?" I asked laughing slightly.

Paige pouted in confusion pulling me in a side hug "No idea. I woke up in it" she told me, making me chuckle.

"You were dead, dear" Penny said letting me know she was in the room as well. "Both of you were" she said, her eyes flickering at me, relief glimmering in her eyes "But bright side, at least now we have something in common" Penny told us, smiling slightly

I chuckled slightly as one of the Dwarves (because she was Snow White, right?) walked to Paige

"You know, you really ought to get yourself a prince, in case this ever happens again" He told her

"Uh, who are you?" Paige asked him confused, the Dwarf didn't answer, turning to face to the others

"We'll send you the bill. Let's go men!" He exclaimed starting to walk to the door

"Come on, guys, let's go" Another Dwarf called out and every Dwarf left with them making me laugh slightly

Phoebe and Cole come down the stairs right after they left. Phoebe gasped once she noticed us awake

"Paige! Kass! You're both okay!" Phoebe exclaimed coming towards us and pulling us both into a big hug

"Which means the witch is vanquished" Cole nodded "So where's..." he asked before being interrupted by a swirl of light where Piper appeared wearing red shoes

"Piper" Leo said in relief seeing his wife unharmed

"Is everybody okay?" Piper asked looking around at us, relieved

"Well, thanks to you they are" Penny told her proudly "Well, I suppose that means it's time for me to go" Penny shrugged and then turned to Leo "Mind giving me a lift?"

"Well, why do you have to go at all?" Piper asked her, biting her lip

"Because I don't belong here anymore" Penny said softly putting her arm around Piper "See, you thought you needed me, but I was only here to remind you that you don't. Not even for her"

"Okay, but what about me?" Phoebe pouted "I feel like I didn't get to spend any time with you" phoebe said going to Piper and Penny putting her arms around them

"That's okay. I don't stay dead long" Penny told her laughing

"Good point" Phoebe agreed nodding

Penny turned to Paige "Well, do I at least get a hug goodbye?"

"It was great to finally meet you" Paige said with a smile and hugged Penny, "Grams" they pulled away, Penny looked at me

"I heard it was your idea to slow down the process of my dead" I said awkwardly "Thank you. And it was nice to meet you" I said with a small smile

"Don't worry, darling. I would do it again" Penny assured me before pulling me into a hug as well "Now, I haven't get to see those powers of yours but I know you're powerful so keep yourself like that, okay? Those of yours would come in handy one day" she winked making me laugh

"Be safe, my darlings" Penny said backing away from me and looking at her granddaughters

Leo smiled and grabbed Penny's hand orbing them both out.

Paige headed for the stairs

"Where are you going?" Piper asked her, with a confused smile

"I need to catch up on my fairy tales" Paige told her before going upstairs

"Ugh, I'm gonna get nightmares thinking about another fairytale" I mumbled shaking my head and following Paige "Wait up for me. I want to put my book away in the depths of my closet" I ran after Paige, knowing a conversation between Phoebe and Cole would take place and I didn't want to be there as a third wheel and besides that there was something about Cole I didn't trust

I entered the room the Halliwell's gave me, my backpack and the box I brought from my apartment in the bed where Paige probably orbed them earlier

I looked up, smiling "Fairytale Book!" I called out trusting my hands up, watching with a small proud smile how my book orbed right into my hands with a hue-purple light and little lights.

I grabbed my backpack and my box as well and headed to the closet and stuffing my clothes on it, placing my book on the depth of my closet and before pulling my box away, I opened it up tracing with my fingers the delicate craft of a flower on the lid smiling softly at the memories inside of it. I sighed putting and down and saving it on the closet.

I stood up and went to the bed falling on top of it and staring at the ceiling, the events happening today playing on my mind
