Only they who are worthy may wield the blade.

They must hold the blade with honor, dignity, and respect within them. 

And as they hold the blade, they must protect their people. 

They must safeguard their identity, for the safety of themselves and the loved ones they protect. 

And with that, they are known as The Guardian. 

If The Guardian is at fates hand, and is struck down by a great force of evil, may they rise again, stronger.
