2 days to arrival
to Earth

"COME ON, RAVEN, DON'T BE such a bore." complained the blonde to her mechanical friend.

"You know I can't, Lia, I have to keep working on this." she answered while adjusting a screw.

"I've been locked in my room all week preparing the next case, I need to disconnect."

"So, you need to get drunk." the brunette corrected her, looking at her with a smile.

"Sometimes I hate that you know me so well." she laughed.

"And you can't get drunk by yourself?"

"No, because that's for drunks."

"Well, I'm sorry, but I can't today, I already have plans."

Thalia looked at her with a mischievous smile "Oh, right, I get it, you're going to visit your spacewalker." Raven threw a rag in her face in response "That only confirms my suspicions."

"Go on, go, I need to concentrate."

"Say hi to Finn for me." she said before leaving the workshop.

In the corridor she greeted everyone who passed by, since, being the only lawyer in the Ark, she knew everyone.

"Good morning, Abby." she greeted the doctor in one of the corridors.

"Hi, Lia, how are your seizures and tremors?"

"Much better, thank you, the treatment is helping me a lot."

"I'm glad, remember that if it gets worse, don't hesitate to come to me."

"Don't worry, I will."

She continued on her way to her room, she had planned to visit her brother, but she had to continue preparing his next case.

When she arrived, she saw Marcus Kane with other guards waiting at the door.

"Hello, Marcus, good to see you." she greeted the man, after all these years, you could even say they were family.

"Same here, Lia. I imagine you already know why we're here."

"Inspection, am I wrong?" Kane nodded, so the blonde opened the door, allowing them to pass through.

She was already used to that kind of things, since they always did some surprise inspection to check if they didn't have anything illegal or something like that.

"Well, everything is perfect, see you tomorrow, Lia."

"Bye, Marcus."

She closed the door and sighed. She sat down on the bed and grabbed her treatment to administer. She hated having to do that, but it was necessary so she wouldn't have any seizures.

She lay back down and looked at the pictures on her bedside table. She smiled at the picture she had next to her brother the day John had grabbed her mother's makeup and set about doing her sister's makeup. She looked at the photo next to it and a pang of sadness hit her. She saw the smile Octavia wore that day as she and Bellamy tickled her. It had been a long time since she had heard from the Blake brothers and it saddened her.

She looked away from the pictures and closed her eyes so she could get some rest.

Thalia awoke to the sound of her alarm. She saw the time and got up quickly to see that it was almost eleven o'clock at night. She had arranged to meet Chancellor Jaha to discuss her next case.

She tidied herself up a bit and hurried out to the boardroom where the chancellor was waiting for her. When she was seconds away from knocking on the door, she heard voices from inside, so she preferred to turn around to leave, but what she heard made her stay.

"Are you sure it's a good idea to send 100 teenagers to Earth?" Abby Griffin's voice distinguished.

"It's our only option, the Ark is dying and we need a solution. Those kids could be our salvation right now." said Thelonious Jaha.

"Who will you send?" asked Marcus Kane.

"Clarke Griffin, Monty Green, Jasper Jordan, Finn Collins, Nathan Miller, Octavia Blake, John Murphy..." Lia stopped listening when she heard her brother's name. She walked backwards and decided to go to her room.

She felt her breath catch in her throat as she went. She couldn't believe they were going to send her little brother to a place where he might die. She remembered the promise she made to her father before he was floated and she was going to keep it, just as she promised.

Flashback, 4 years earlier

John hugged his sister as he felt tears slipping from his eyes, he felt it was his fault that his father was in this situation. His sister was stroking his head trying to calm him down as she too cried, but tried to stay strong for her family.

The guards appeared in her field of vision as they escorted her father to his death. John broke away from his sister to run to Alex and hug him. The guards tried to separate him, but the chancellor would not allow it.

When they separated, his father looked at Thalia with a smile, letting her know how proud he was of her. The blonde could stand it no longer, so she went straight into the man's arms, being welcomed by the warmth emanating from his body.

"You have to be strong, honey, you're going to be fine."

"Nothing will be the same without you, dad, we can't be a family without you."

"I need you to promise me something." he said to his firstborn when they parted "Promise me you'll take care of your brother, Thalia, please."

"I promise."

"I love you, honey."

"And I love you, daddy..."

One of the guards separated them and locked him inside the capsule where he would be floated. Lia intertwined her hand with John's as they watched their father smile at them both before they hit the button that floated the man into the air.

The little boy hugged his sister tightly, trying to eliminate that horrible image from his mind, but the blonde was only thinking about the words her father had told her.

"We'll be all right, John..." she said to her brother, but it sounded like she was trying to convince herself.

End of flashback

Lia wiped away the small tear that had come from her eyes as she leaned against the door of her room.

She needed a plan.

She needed to infiltrate in that ship.

And she would do anything to get it.
