"Alright Blondie I'm here" (y/n) said as he exited the building onto the roof. He instantly spotted Mandy and walked over to her.

"You bring something to eat?" Mandy asked as she sipped on a juice box.

"Nope" (y/n) replied as he sat next to Mandy. Their feet dangled off the edge of the building. "I'll just take some of your food" (y/n) smirked as he grabbed a cookie from the lunchbox the girl kept in her lap.

"Give it back!" Mandy demanded angrily as she glared at the boy.

(Y/n) smirked before biting into the cookie. "You still want it Blondie?" He asked as he held the half eaten cookie out to her.

"You keep it" Mandy growled through grit teeth. She was starting to have second thoughts about this kid. "Tell me about yourself"

"Why?" (Y/n) asked as he crossed his arms. "I know nothing about you. Why should I tell anything to a complete stranger"

"Because this complete stranger is going to punch you into next week if you don't stop being a prick for two seconds!" Mandy exclaimed as she got ready to throw a punch.

"Alright, alright. No need to be a bitch about it" (y/n) smiled. He was enjoying messing with Mandy. This was the most fun he'd had since his parents died. "I'm an only child who just moved her from nowhere with my grandparents. Not much more to tell"

"I was hoping for something more descriptive" Mandy frowned slightly before shrugging. "But I can work with that"

"What do you mean work with that?" (Y/n) asked curiously.

"I'm trying to figure you out" Mandy replied. "You're an enigma. I have no clue how you ended up so... me"

"I lived life" (y/n) shrugged. "Honestly I'm surprised people can live more than a couple years without turning out like us"

"Wise words" Mandy nodded thoughtfully. "It seems that we're the only two sane people in this town"

"Hello?! Mandy?'" A loud voice called from the staircase that lead down to the school.

Mandy groaned. "Speaking of sanity, that's Billy, he has none. He's my only other human friend" the loud boy quickly ran up the stairs and onto the roof.

(The only good fanart of teen Billy was one where he was dead. It was very disturbing... anyways I'm not using that so deal with me just using Billy from the show instead of an older version)

"Mandy!" Billy called out before noticing (y/n). "New kid! Wait... why are you hanging out with Mandy? Nobody does that"

"You do" Mandy replied with a glare.

"Oh. Right" Billy nodded before shrugging. "What were we talking about?"

"We were talking and then you interrupted us" (y/n) glared at Billy.

Billy was completely oblivious to the glare. "Oh yeah! Now I remember. Mandy! Mandy!"

"What?!" Mandy shouted causing Billy to smile.

"School let out early! One of the kitchen staff accidentally burned down the kitchen! We get to go home! We're free! Freeeeee!!!!!"

"Good" (y/n) smiled. "I'm tired of this place"

"You actually came with good new for once" Mandy nodded at Billy. "Go home. I'll meet you there"

"B-but we always walk home together" Billy protested sadly. "Always. I doubt I could even get home without you" (y/n) smiled evilly as he watched. This boy was pathetic.

"Just go. You'll be fine" Mandy told the boy. Billy pouted but walked back the way he had came from.

Mandy stood up and looked at (y/n). "Walk with me"

"Sure" (y/n) shrugged. "Where are we headed?"

"My locker and then Billy's house" Mandy replied as she walked towards the entrance.

"That moron? Why would I go there" (y/n) scoffed as he shook his head.

"Believe me bird brain. There's someone you'll want to meet" Mandy replied as the two walked down the stairs.

"Alright fine. Consider me intrigued" (y/n) replied with a shrug. "I want to know more about you though. So start talking Blondie"

"What is there to say?" Mandy replied with a shrug. "Billy and I met years ago and became friends. Other than that I'm just like you except my parents are alive and I've lived here my whole life"

(Y/n) nodded and tried not to show the glare of anger he felt when Mandy mentioned parents. He didn't like people talking about his parents.

The two walked in silence until they finally reached Mandy's locker. She put her books in it before grabbing what she'd need to bring home and shoving it in her bag. "Let's go" she finished as she closed the locker. (Y/n) nodded and they walked towards the schools exit. "You got a car?" Mandy asked.

"Nope" (y/n) replied as he shook his head.

"That's a shame. Would have saved time" Mandy shrugged before crossing the street. (Y/n) followed after her. "Guess we go by foot"

"Guess so" (y/n) shrugged as he walked up beside Mandy.

The two walked in silence a while more. Neither was good at small talk or socializing. "This silence is going nowhere" Mandy said after a moment as they kept walking. "Speak"

"And say what?" (Y/n) asked as he crossed his arms and glared at Mandy. "I'm just as bad at this as you are"

"I'm not bad at anything" Mandy replied with a glare.

"Sure, sure" (y/n) chuckled drawing another glare from Mandy.

Mandy's face flushed a bit but she quickly got it under control. She wasn't used to people talking back to her and it kinda embarrassed her.

"We're here" Mandy said after a few more minutes of silence. She pointed to a house and they started walking up to the door. Mandy knocked on the door.

The door opened and out stepped the coolest thing (y/n) had ever seen. "Woah"

"Ah Mandy" the skeletal man said before noticing (y/n). "Uh- who's your friend?"

"Grim this is (y/n)" Mandy then turned to her new friend. "(Y/n) meet the Reaper"
