Hi, I'm Vixen the only werewolf griffin hybrid alive and this is my story. It was a cold Sunday morning in January and I watched as my mother named me. "Let's name her Vixen." Those were her last words as she sadly died from childbirth. "I will join you in the afterlife my love!" my father yelled as he committed suisiede. All because I was just born leaving me all alone in our cave. Then I see a black and white she-wolf enter my cave. "Oh, my come here sweetheart I'll take care of you." she said as she walks over to me and picks me up by my scruff. After a while we arrive at a her cave and I see a small orange colored she-wolf. "Look who I found all alone in a cave. I found you a sister Diablo." she said to the other she-wolf as she puts me down on her bed and shifts into a human. I figured that she was a werewolf. "Her name is Vixen. Hmmm... Vixen and Diablo what odd names you know what I'll call you Katie." she said to me. "And I'll call you Ashley." she said to the other she-wolf. "I'll call her Ash cause of her fur color" I thought. The lady then sat down by Ash and started stroking her fur. "What a beautiful and unique fur color you have." she said to Ash who was falling asleep and I was too. So I walked over to them and curled up with Ash and we both fell asleep.

A few years later

It was a beautiful Saturday in July I woke up early cause me and Ash both turned 6 in January and today we can go on our first pack hunt. Our mom said that we were the only 6 year olds in our pack that can shift into our wolf forms at will. I was so excited for the hunt I decided to wake up Ash. I shifted into my caramel wolf and went to her side of the room and jumped up and down on her sleeping wolf form yelling. "Wake up Ash wake up! Today we get to go on our first hunt so wake up!" I yelled as I pushed her off the bed. "Ow" was all she said as she hit the floor with a loud thud. As soon a she was on all fours I tackled her to the ground "Katie the hunt isn't for another hour." she said still laying on her back with me on top of her. "How about we go play tag in the woods until then?" she bargained hoping that I'll get off her. "Yeah, ok let's go!" I yell getting off her and running downstairs to tell our parents. We were in the middle of the game when we heard mom howl and we headed back to join the hunt. In the middle of the hunt we heard a distress howl. "We should find dad." I said "I agree." With that we shifted into our human forms and split up. "Dad!" I said as I finally found him. "Katie there you are where's Ash?" he asked with concern in his voice. "We split up to find you." Then we heard blood curdling screaming coming from about a half a mile away. I shift and follow the others toward the screaming as we got closer it stopped. I looked up ahead and saw something I'll never forget. My mothers dead body and my mangled sister passed out next to her. Dad ran up to them while I just stood there frozen in fear. "Get Ash to the hospital now!" dad said as he handed her mangled body to one of our fastest runners. "Yes sir." he said and ran off in a full blow sprint. "C'mon Katie we should get to the hospital." he said trying to hold back tears. He shifted into his gray wolf and I shifted into my human form and got on his back. When we got close to town I got off his back and he shifted. We got into the car and headed straight to the hospital. When we got there a nurse took us to Ash's room and she was covered in bandages she was still knocked out. "She should wake up in an hour or so." the nurse said and left. I picked up a chair and put it beside her bed. I sat there while dad sat in another chair in the corner of the room. I put my head on her bed and fell asleep next to her while hugging her tail. I awoke to a nurse coming in the room and I saw Ash and dad were awake too. "Now that she's awake it's time to take the bandages off." the nurse said I helped Ash over to a mirror. I watched her close her eyes as the nurse started taking off the bandages. When she was done Ash opened her eyes and saw the scars covering almost her entire body. One went diagonally across her left eye thankfully not damaging it. Another one went diagonally across the middle of her chest. One went diagonally across her cheek from just under her right ear to and inch from her mouth. Another one went diagonally across stomach from her right hip to the lower part of her ribcage on the left side of her body. Another one went from just under her right hip all the down to just above her right ankle. The last one went down her back from the top of her shoulders all the way down to and inch above her birth-tattoo. I have one too only certain mythological creatures have them. But basically you get a birth-tattoo of your name once your parents name you it just appears above your tail. Its essentially a birthmark if you will I also found out that Ash has another birthmark on the underside of her left wrist. Which was odd cause nobody knows what myth it comes from. "We did all that we could but she was attached by an alpha grizzly bear they'll scar I'm sorry." the nurse said as she left. "C'mon girls time to go home." dad said and we checked Ash out of the hospital and headed home to let Ash rest.
