The boys had some game going on. I watched in amusement.  One of the guys looked at me, "Your turn Greenie" I stepped in the circle.  I had a few good jabs and I made him trip a little.  The end of it was when I side-stepped, got behind him and gave a hard shove. The kid fell out of the circle. I had won.  "Greenie! Greenie! Greenie!" A slow chant had started.  "Oh stop it." I grinned, shrugged my shoulders then crossed my arms.  The guy I had beaten stood up and bowed, "Well done."  It was a healthy fight, thank goodness.  I beat a few more guys before Alby called it a night.  "I think our reigning champ needs some beauty sleep" He held up my arm, side-eyed me and smiled.  "Time for bed shanks, see you tomorrow."  The boys cleared out. I showered quickly, that water was colder than the arctic circle. Rubbing my hair dry, I scoped out my new room.  I changed into some PJs that were in the drawer, they were a bit scratchy but warm. I discovered some paper in a desk and picked up what looked like a pencil.  I wrote 'Day 1' at the top and continued to jot down the day's events.  I returned the paper to a bottom drawer and went to bed.  I had a dream last night; it felt really weird being able to remember something. Still nothing about my identity... I woke to the sun rising, How refreshing. I thought.  I dressed in some clothes from the drawer and pulled on the green flannel that I had on when I came up.  I think I was either one of the first or the last awake.  Some runners were waiting at the doors and I went to snag some food.  "Well good morning love." Newt grinned, joining me.  "Mornin'" I realized I had an odd twang to my voice, but I didn't mind it, it was barely there.  Alby soon joined as well.  "Gooood morning Greenie!" I smiled.  "Okay why do you all keep callin' me that?" "Because you don't know your name and you're new." "Ah." "So you're going to start with the Med-Jacks, switch to Gardeners, then Builders and end with the Sloppers.  Tomorrow you'll go with the Runners." "That's a lot. But uh... the idea of running or slopping doesn't appeal very much, could I maybe skip those two?" "If you want, sure, just as long as you find a job." Alby said.  I smiled, "Good that. Thank you."  I took my plate back to Frypan, "Have a good day!" He responded with a smile.  I went to the Med-Jacks and started working.  They had me sorting some of the new supplies that came up with me.  The sun was up, I would say about 10.  I switched to the Gardeners where I found Newt.
