Third Person POV:

As soon as Percy fell asleep, the rest of the camp of Wood Wailers fell into a light sleep with several as guards on patrol. However, during the peaceful night, a silent signal was given and a rain of arrows fell down upon the Wood Wailers. One of the spearmen held a horn to their lips and let out a sound that woke the entire camp, including Percy.

Percy's POV:

I woke up to the sound of a horn being sounded which was quickly silenced. I immediately stood up and activated my shield as I saw the soldiers rush towards a commotion. I spotted Sergeant Agreux running over to me and I turned to greet him.

"What's going on?" I asked

"We're being ambushed, Perseus, I need you to run North. Run and don't look back" he said but I shook my head

"No, let me help fight" I argued but he put a hand on my shoulder

"Perseus, I do not doubt your courage, nor your skill in swordplay, but we are outnumbered and right now your survival is our main concern, so please run" He finished as he handed me a spear and pushed me in a direction "Run and do not look back" he said as someone tossed him a spear and he let out several orders

I turned away from the soldiers before I started sprinting into the forest. I kept sprinting long after the sounds of conflict faded from earshot. Even when it started raining, I continued to run not having a destination in mind.

What seemed like hours passed by as I put one foot in front of the other. Finally, when I felt like my legs would give out, I heard a small cry for help.

"Help! This one needs help!" the voice said and I changed direction toward the voice

As I made my way towards the voice, I spotted several purple creatures surrounding a leaf green one.

"HELP!!!" The green one said and three of the purple ones turned toward me and raised up sticks

"Meddling one needs not to meddle in these ones affairs" the lead one said but I ignored it and launched my spear into the one on the right making it dodge by floating to the side "Meddling one will pay with meddling one's life!" the creature said as three balls of electricity shot towards me

I dived forward and rolled back to my feet dodging the first two attacks before holding up my shield to block the third. As soon as the ball of electricity hit my shield, I felt a very painful shock travel through my body.

"AHHH" I screamed in pain but the surging electricity vanished leaving me panting

I peeked over my shield and saw them charging up another attack. Seeing this I retracted my shield and sprinted forward, the water from the rain revitalizing me and giving me the strength to move forward.

I raced towards the creatures just as they released their second attack. I dived forward once again but instead of rolling I bent my arms and extended them quickly so I vaulted over the attacks. I then landed behind them where I grabbed the middle one's legs and swung it into the one on its right before extending my left hand and willing the water in the air to form a thin shaft of ice that I then willed to thrust into the left one's torso. I followed through with the strike by spinning and flicking my wrist causing the ice to slice off the two remaining creatures' heads like a knife through a head of lettuce.

I faced the green creature to see it being carried away by four more of the purple ones. I felt a pull in my gut as I willed the water to form around my arms and legs forming an exo-skeleton. I then raced forward across a bridge using the water to help propel me at a faster speed.

"Please, walking one! Save this one from touched ones!" The creature said and I nodded as I extended my right arm towards the closest left creature

I willed the water on my arm to shoot out into an ice blade that cut the creature in half before I spun to my left and willed water on my left arm to form a spear that pierced the creatures head. I then proceeded to will the water to cut off the arms of the two creatures that held the green one captive.

"Run!" I ordered and the one that called for help flew behind me as I started to backtrack when I noticed several dozen more 'touched ones', as the green guy called them, started heading in my direction

I turned around and grabbed the green creature like a football and started sprinting across the bridge again. As I reached the end where I started, I turned around to see a wall of electricity flying toward me.

Instinctively I raised my hand and the rain formed a wall of water which stopped most of the lightning attacks, but some of them still got through. I continued to run in a random direction trying to avoid being electrocuted.

"Where do you live buddy?" I asked the cowering creature that I noticed was made out of leaves

"This one lives at Little Solace! That way" He says before pointing in a direction and I immediately follow it

In a few minutes of racing through the forest I reach a small village with more of the floating green creatures. Some of which fly up to me holding their staffs. I quickly let the one I was holding go and I watched it float near me as the others surrounded me.

"What is walking one doing with these ones? Working with touched ones walking one is?!" One said and I held up my hands as I quickly deciphered their speech

"No, I am not working with the touched ones, I actually just saved your friend from being captured" I explained and some of them looked at the one that I just let go

"Water wielding one speaks true, this one was captured by touched ones and this one would be touched one if not for Water Wielding one" the creature said and the others looked at me

"These ones thank walking one but walking one must leave Little Solace. These ones have no want for talking with walking ones" one said as I saw a flash of purple come from the forest

Acting on instinct I jumped in front of the projectile. It slammed straight into my chest and felt my body convulse with what felt like a thousand volts. However, I forced myself through the pain, using the cascading water to give me strength as two dozen purple creatures floated through the forest.

"Walking one led touched ones to Little Solace!" The green one from before said

"No, they followed me, there is a difference, but I'll take care of them" I said as I felt a painful pull in my gut and the rain stopped

Third Person POV:

As the rain stopped the Sylphs of little Solace looked at Percy in awe. He held his arms out to his side and the water followed his silent command immediately. However, as he did this a light silvery mist circled around his arms and torso but never once entered his line of sight. Percy then opened his fists willing the water to form two swords that then froze over and he smirked before he started stalking towards the purple Sylphs.

The purple Sylphs attempted to scatter but, in a moment, Percy was upon them hacking and slashing. Whenever one tried to get away a thin line of water would cut its wings off making it fall to the ground where Percy would quickly finish it off before moving on. The Sylphs of Little Solace watched in both fear and awe as Percy quickly finished off the 'touched ones'. When he was finished, the light surrounding him vanished as he released his control over the rain and allowed his ice swords to turn into water. He then held his hand to his head as he stumbled backwards and collapsed on the ground.

The Sylphs that watched Percy defend their home quickly rushed over and picked him up, using all of their strength they carried him to a hut high above the ground before a few of the other Sylphs floated over with remedies to aid the stranger that just protected them.

The rain continued to pour but there was silence in the forest around where Percy was located. Not even the trees rustled against the wind.
