"Talking to the queen" The soldier said.

She scoffed "Bullshit, where is he" She demanded the soldier knew better than to argue with someone he considered their leader so he pointed up to a building.

Y/N looked up at where is finger was pointed at. The he was Namor flying in front a glass window looking at the queen until he flew away only to come back a second later with water bombs throwing them directly at the window.

Y/Ns eyes widened. "NO!" She yelled. She new the impact alone of those bombs would hurt the queen but considering they were surrounded with glass the impact would cause it to shatter.

She started running straight for the building, spear in hand, she dodged everything in her away.

All she could thing about was how much she felt sorry how sorry she felt for the princess. She knew she had lost her brother. Now her mother. Wakanda had lost their queen.

"Namor!" She yelled as she got closer to the building.

He looked down shocked not expecting her to be awake yet.

"My l-"

"What did you do?" She yelled back at him cutting his words off.

He expected her to be proud or at least happy but once again he was shocked when he saw her run into the doors of the building.

He turned back to Shuri who was being held back by a women.

"Bury your dead, mourn your loses, you are queen now" He finished turning around and driving straight into the water.

He didn't question what Y/N was doing maybe she wanted to be sure the queen was dead, maybe she wanted to make sure than come back and say how proud she was.

Boy was he wrong.

Y/N ran up multiple stair cases until she got into the top floor. The meeting floor.

She burst through the doors seeing the queen in the floor not breathing, the princess being held back my a women as multiples Dora Milaje rushed in to help.

The princess's sobs were heard all through the room as Okoye who was trying to help the queen say in tears next to her.

"She has passed" Nakai said to Okoye placing a comforting hand on her shoulder.

At those words Y/N walked up to the queens body.

Okoye looked up at her. "How dare you step foot in her after everything you did" She snapped tears brimming her yes.

"I'm sorry" Y/N looked at Okoye if only she had tried to convince Namor harder. If only she had stopped him.

"I'm so sorry" She repeated. This time she looked around at everyone.

"I'm sorry" She kept repeating. She felt awful. If only she convinced Namor. If only she stopped him.

She walked out of the room giving only last glance towards Shuri who was sobbing as people around her comforted her.

...

"Killing their queen!?" Y/N yelled as she walked back into Namors cave.

There he sat in his chair with his eyes closed and head tilt back.

"I was wondering when you would be back" He got up from the chair and walked closer to her. She took a step back keeping her distance.

"Do you know what you just did?" She was furious. Furious he did something without even consulting her. Furious he never listened to her anymore.

"I got revenge, a body for a body" He told her calmly as his hand came up to cup her face. But she swatted them away.

"I understand you were were angry, but the queen was all these people had, someone they could reply on, someone they trusted" She was trying so hard to keep her voice calm but with Namor no Moment was calm.

"I had to-"

"No, don't you dare say that what if the roles were reserved what if Shuri came and killed you our people would've been heartbroken, I would've been heartbroken. Can you even imagine what the princess is going through right now. I thought we were equals. We were partners"  She was cut off.

"We are-"

But she only scoffed before cutting him off again.

"If we are you would have came and talked to me and trusted my opinion I would have gave you, I know I usually stand back and let you take control of things but now I've realized how stupid I was to do so" She sighed looking down and finishing off her sentence.

"I love you, I do but I will not help you harm these people" She said and with that she handed her spear to one of the soldiers and walked out of the cave.

"Where are you going?" Namor said catching up to her but she only increased her speed.

She didn't want to speak she wanted him to know she was upset furious even.

She dived back into the water swimming up to the surface truthfully she had no idea where she would go but she just knew she did not want to be around Talokan or Wakanda so she decided she'll go to the surface world and just walk around she needed to clear her mind even if it took days.

The guilt she felt was strong she just couldn't imagine what the princess was going through. She loved Namor and would do anything to him. She knew she needed to step up and be the leader Talokan deserved the one they can come to if they need anything the one they can come to if they simply needed a shoulder to cry on. Sure Namor was always doing things for their people but she was tired when it also came to putting their people in danger. The wakadanias didn't do anything wrong it was Namor who kidnapped their princess if anything it was surprising when they only killed one person in order to get her back.

If only Namor understood but he was stubborn and he would do anything to avenge his people. It was admiring really but when it came to killing the most respected and trusted ruler of a nation war would break out and Y/N did not wanna be there when it happens.

But life has other plans.

Hiii I'm back!! Sorry I took the biggest hiatus from writing hopefully this chapter can make up for it!

Chapters will still be a little slow because of school but definitely not as slow as before!
