Faith:

Thud.

"Never lose control."

Thud.

"-- She's so beautiful, Lailah. You did great."

Thud. Thud.

"-- I want you to become my partner, Faith."

Thud. Thud. Thud.

"-- Jeez, always complaining, princess."

Thud. Thud. Thud.

"-- It's time you fulfill your destiny, Faith."

Thud. Thud. Thud.

It felt like everything fell apart.

And at the same time it felt like everything was going according to plan.

Irony, is what most would call it.

Twist of fate is how I see it.

Lend me your power one more time.

.

.

The rhythm of irregular heartbeat rested in my body. Slowly finding the level altitude mine resided, becoming one with my body and soul. Giving me the opportunity to put my body to it's full use, sinking deep to my DNA. My veins burned and my limbs shook of the entite falling on me like the Holy light on Maria, this time my God lending me the power I desperately wanted.

"Faith..."

My eyes snapped open, jaw gapping open as I felt the power ready to put to use. It was ready to claim me as one of it.

I'm ready.

The feeling of my skin and wounds patched tightly shut as I felt the power coursing through my veins, becoming one with me. The Holy light's superior, the light of God. My brain was put to a mush as all kinds of acient scripts went through it, from the time Earth was created to the present. Each memory suppressed another, my body succumbing to the weight and heaviness of the form.

So powerful.

I slowly opened my eyes, noticing the difference immediately. It felt like I could take on the entire world.

"Faith...!" Daniel's voice rasped behind me, his hand fiercely hitting the glass.

My eyes however fixated to the problem at hand, the one thing making me ask such raw power. To be desperate enough to ask our God's help. The black eyes already wondering to me, burning of the desire. I narrowed my eyes of the glass cube around me, flicking my finger up and hitting the surface. It cracked open, falling to tiny pieces around me. The gasp behind me was evident.

"Whatever it takes." The words slipped my mouth, my wings activating. They were abnormally huge. I lunged forward fast, grabbing my ultimate weapon in this form. The Ultimate Angel form. The Ragnarok tried to gain it's distance yet I was fast to grab it by the throat, slamming it hard to the brick wall behind it. It was easy-- the calm demeanor this form brought not allowing me to see the difference.

"Faith...?" Praxina's pained groans wondered.

It was no time as Ragnarok shot me his blood gurgling flames from his palate, my wings immediately covered my face. Absolute protection. The feathers repelled the fire, not affected the slightest. So this is the true power of our God. It slightly burned my hand however as I reached down, the casting planted deep to my brain. It was something I had no control over.

I slid out the purified tickets from my pockets.

My fist was quick to knock out the senses out of the Ragnarok as I stuck the paper tags on all his limbs, forcing him to remain in place. I noticed the papers melt to his skin and turn to chains that connected to the wall, locking the unholy Beast in place. The Ragnarok shrieked loudly and trashed around, answering to the Holy light's power. It was nothing to like. My wings flipped as I got on the same eye level as he was, my bright blue eyes shone of determination and avenge.

"In the name of the holy God and Spirit I summon you out of this body." My fingers rose up, taking out the blood off his chest to put a cross sign on top of the Ragnarok's head. Another attack of his tongue emerged this time as it tried to rip away my head-- my other hand slammed a quick paper tag on it. Shutting it down. "And cleanse out the destruction you've brought to this world, Amen."

This is not me speaking...

My hands acted in harmony as I took out my blade, noticing the steel fully aligned with the Holy light. As it was in it's true powerful form. The steel brought to the brim of his chin, the pure touch made his skin melt and cause it to burn away of the touch. It shrieked and tried to get away from it, my hand however decided to not grab it. The being in me disgusted to touch such a thing.

"No way...!"

"Our God answered our prayers!"

"Thank you, Lord!"

"-- Make no mistake that this is a warning. To anyone trying to harm my remaining children. Bless their young souls for being this desperate for the likes of you." My body turned to look at the troopers bowing to my ultimate form, the words slipped out of my mouth uncontrollably. It made me wonder was this our God speaking? And so harsh and warning. "However it has to be done. It has potential, after all."

My eyes turned in nick of time to notice my hand remove the head of the Ragnarok's, slicing it clean off. Blood splattering everywhere, my body repelling it as it didn't stain me. My body acted on it's own as I flew up-- cutting the remaining missing head in half. Destroying what was left of the cursed Demon King's legacy, putting an end to the misery and suffering it had caused all of us. It felt like a purge was taken place.

Peace found itself in my body as I noticed it crumble to a dust, and so did his body.

It's over.

... It's finally over.

A satisfied sigh left me as I turned around, noticing the destruction before me. All the dead bodies, the fire, the castle's ruins in the background. It made this being wonder what had taken place in here. Then I noticed everyone staring in awe and shock. My brain hurt of the countless wounds I could feel on each individual, what was remaining of the forces around me. Such an overwhelming feeling to which the being in me grimaced, almost disgusted again.

Sudden light peeked out of the skies above me, making me look up. The dark clouds moved to reveal a beautiful sky where a dawn was breaking, it had taken a full day.

My hands found their way on my hips as I smiled up at the sky. "It's over now, my child. Look how beautiful the sky is, I've almost forgotten about it." He spoke to me, my inner self smiled wide in return. It was like a huge weight lifted off me, I was able to breath again. To not feel afraid... ever again.

Thank you.

It was finally over.

Mom... Dad...

Did I make you proud?

"Faith?"

My head turned immediately, my heart sinking to see Alchadar laying sitting there against a wall. His demeanor casual as he tried to play it off, but his wounds were pretty severe, the heart almost to no end being able to restore. The thought made the being snort as in challenge, I felt him examining the three Demons laying on the ground. A little vary.

Please, heal everyone.

"Why would I do that?" The words slipped out of my mouth again, my body moving on it's own as I looked around at everyone. Alchadar's stern look didn't go missing. "It's already straining enough to use this body--" I felt my eyes leaking. The tip of my index finger brushed over the liquid, I noticed blood forming. My eyes were bleeding. "Are you certain you're willing to go through that?"

Yes! Any means necessary.

"What's wrong with you, Faith?" Praxina had gotten back on her feet as she looked up at me, confused. The being shared her an odd glance.

"It's not Faith we're talking to." Ben argued fast, making a once-over of my body. "Look at the transformation." I grimaced in return, feeling the entite a little annoyed of how they already figured everything out.

"Who are you?" Alchadar slowly sat on his knees, groaning in pain. My body moved fast to gain the distance, my inner self almost screamed to not do anything reckless. I noticed he flinched, not expecting such fast movement. My face grimaced in return as he felt my need to help, to end his suffering. Something I believe this Supreme God wasn't willing to do.

I examined his face and body, slowly resting a hand to his body. On top of his bleeding chest.

Feeling the healing powers coursing through my veins slowly.

Thank you.

"The Supreme God of the Angels." My mouth said, almost poisonous. It was the quickest heal I've ever done as I felt his heart and wounds patched up, flying away to the group of people. "You've been granted the wish this child has. Use it well."

My palms opened fully as I felt the healing powers leaving my body, feeling the strain. It was bad. It felt like a part of me was ripped open and used for this, but I didn't complain. It was exactly what I wanted. I wanted everyone to be okay. Even if it was such a tiny thing for everyone that lost their lives and strenght... I wanted them to feel okay. The warm feeling settled on everyone as I noticed their evident gasps and stare at their wounds closing, the sight alone made me hang on just a little while longer.

Thank you.

"Talk about arrogance..." I heard Ben whisper, the snapping head of the God in me made me realize it heard him too. The look on Ben's face almost made me snort.

"Faith is too kind to say it herself, but she tends to strain herself way more she can handle." Alchadar had stood up and found his footing, slowly approaching my floating body. It would appear my partner will live. The second I felt everyone's wounds sealed and the fractures healed I turned around, my arms crossed firmly. My eyes staring questionably and suspiciously of the Demon. "Please, let her return to us."

Wait...!

My eyes wondered, head tilting up.

"Yes?" The words slipped out again, the Supreme God still eyeing Alchadar and everyone under me suspicious. It would seem he had no idea how and why I had gotten myself in this situation. And why did I stay with this kind of people. The thought made me vince internally for him thinking less of them, however I put up with it for now.

Something far more revealing happened in me.

A realization.

You can revive someone from the dead...

Right?

"Not me anymore. Only you and the other child can--" As I said that I shot a sharp Holy light at the resting cube in the distance, releasing Daniel finally of his predicament. The fast movements he did only meant he had been waiting it for God knows how long. "That is, if you would have the needs to do so."

Please, lend me the needs.

That's the only thing I'm still asking.

"I don't think your body is able to withstand the strain as it is." I wondered and flew forward, meeting up with Daniel in the middle of the clearance. The group behind us slowly approaching. My eyes lingered to the Demon Slayer resting on the ground liveless, my mind eager and begging. My last resort. My last salvation. "Even if the both of you tried it." I landed a hand on Daniel's shoulder, nodding.

Whatever it takes.

"-- Whatever it takes." Daniel's eyebrows ridged in return, I noticed his wounds sealing as well. Even if he didn't hear me, it would seem he was agreeing. He trusted me whatever the situation. The thousand lives lost still painful, however this one I refused to let die. He did not deserve it, he deserved to live out and grow old. To live the life he wanted. I would be doing everything in my power to resurrect the rest when I had the needs.

Just please, this once.

My eyes narrowed as I let go of Daniel, wondering. I felt him searching through all my emotions and thoughts on the matter, wanting to be sure of my request. It would appear it was going to be tough, tougher than fighting. Yet I was willing to go through it, knowing Chris would do the same for me. He had grown to me strong, a family member I longed to have. As it was missing I felt myself crumbling apart, the air felt heavy to breathe without him. If given the opportunity to ressurrect him, I'd take it no matter what.

"... Very well."

The suppressing feeling in my chest faded. As well as a ritual and it's words got embedded deep to my brain.

My body flew forward the second the Supreme God left my body, leaving only the shallow void of my body left. The nagging feeling of everything hurting and my body strained to the deep end, overwhelming feeling almost knocking me out.

"I got you."

Arms catched me before I could go anywhere, allowing me the time to fully awaken. It took a few struggles and my body shaking rapidly, however I slowly felt returning to my old self. The Supreme God's power took it's toll on me, however it didn't fail to make me smile up at Alchadar behind me, my hands slowly got to his as I nodded.

"I'm okay." I found my footing, taking the few steps to my destination. Although Alchadar held my hips tight, not allowing me to falter. The second I crouched down I took in a deep breath, calming my body down. Asking this one last thing. I stared at the corpse of the Demon Slayer before me, his face already ice cold and the wound on him had stopped bleeding. A sight that would haunt me to the end of days. I will give you your second chance. "Daniel."

My hand was extended out as Daniel grabbed it without hesitation, I put it on my shoulders. Another big inhale as I slowly put my hands on the wound, my skin tingled under the cold skin and mesmerized blood. It felt bad, nothing like Chris. Yet I gritt my teeth and closed my eyes, focusing to the ritual.

"What're they doing?"

"Sh." Dagon shut up someone in the ranks, his mind eager. All the thousands of eye pairs wasn't calming me down the slightest, but it was something I had to deal with. If I wanted to get Chris back now. "Let the magic happen."

"-- Almighty God, give me the strenght and willpower to resurrect this lost soul." The ritual's words were powerful in my head, the second I felt my Holy light succumb to it my hands were burning. The air felt heavy to the touch as I glanced down, noticing bright light on the wound and Chris. It was working. However not without a fight, the ritual had a few setbacks. It wasn't easy. It sucked everything out of me and Daniel. "-- Give him another chance at life and restore his lost soul to this body, O' God of mine--!"

I gritt my teeth as all the souls around me pulsed strong, the feedback almost sent me back. A strong current of souls and me trying to bring back one made the rest of them mad, trying to cloud my judgment in displeasure. I dug my feet to the ground and pressed strong to the spot, feeling Daniel's displeasure as well as he squeezed my shoulders-- trying to keep me and himself steady.

"C'mon." Daniel took a sharp inhale, lending me the rest of his remaining Holy light. Trusting me with all he had. It almost knocked him out, but gave me the needs to be fully awakened.

"-- Christian Warlock, I hereby call your soul to return! Come to me!" I called out, the white light sparked to action as it shoot out to the skies, moving clouds of the way. The strain was much as I felt my mind unattaching from my body, the feeling so abnormal it made me question everything. The spirits around us restless still however I put my all to it, yelling out loud to strenghten my body to the last push.

Where am I?

"-- Couldn't just let me die, huh?"

That voice...!

Chris!

"I knew you'd miss me. Didn't really think you'd drag me out of hell to get me back though."

"You fool...! I'd get you back from Satan himself it that's the case. Do you accept this second chance in life?"

"You know I love dramatic returns, for that reason alone sure. And can't really disappoint a princess coming to save the day, right? If it's that bad you need me, then yes."

"Grab my hand."

It's gonna be a bumpy-ride.

But I was hell of a more certain to go through it with him in my soul's grasp.

.

.

The power surge took everything from me.

"Aw, fuck!" The wind was so powerful it knocked away the people close to the ritual.

"Is it working!?"

My soul returned to my body as I helped Chris' return to his, the contact pure and sweet. Not really the aftermath as the contact was so fierce it blinded me, my body refusing to move as I held on to his body trying to attach itself, not daring to break the ritual. It was so close, the mind and body the only thing having to be done. Daniel's body had disappeared behind me, telling me it was me alone. No time to wonder as I tried to hang on, using every last bit of my strenght to heal his broken heart.

It's gone.

My eyes looked down to see my transformation gone, meaning I was running real low. The remaining Holy power in the palms of my hands. There was no time for mistakes-- it was this or nothing.

And I wasn't settling for the second option.

"C'mon, Chris!" I gritt my teeth and tried to hold on of the surging wind and souls, my eyes faltered to see my feet sliding. "No...!"

A blade slammed down behind me and a figure appeared behind me, his torso and feet keeping me in place. A relieved sigh left me as I noticed Alchadar holding me in place, fighting the current with all he had. To my surprise he had Daniel strapped to his other arm and he found himself behind me again, his hands resting on my shoulder.

"One last push!" Daniel encouraged me to which I yelled at strong, feeling the dark liquid leaking out of my eyes even more. My body was taking it's final moments, my determination even stronger as I lent to Alchadar behind me fully. I would do it. I could do it. I rose to sit up more and engulfed the palms of my hands on the wound, sending out the last bit of the Holy light. Casting away all the souls trying to invade Chris' body in the middle of his soul attaching-- securing his safe return. And healing his heart to the fullest--

C'mon now, Chris!

It was all I had to give out.

The light faded from my palms and the ritual came to a dramatic end, the crying souls left the sceen and disappeared to the underworld. The air got light again. Everything stopped. Not even a sound left of the birds in the forest.

"Argh." My body slammed down to Chris' body. My lungs begging to have air as I took in ragged breaths, trying not to pass out. It took everything in me. I had never felt so burned out before. Just the feeling of not moving brought me peace as I noticed Alchadar looking at me with the corner of my eye, a tired smile on my face. "I'm just resting."

A calloused and rough hand slowly landed on top of my head, giving my messed up hair a few pats.

A feeling so familiar to me.

Thud.

"-- I think you've earned it, princess."

Thud.

Heartbeat.

That voice.

My head rose up against all the disagreements my mind told me, I froze to see the Demon Slayer's eyes open. A small wicked grin on his face as he tried to laugh at my face, coughing immediately of the discomfort in his body. The leaking from my eyes were either blood or tears of joy as a sob left me, my arms flying to hug this dumb reckless person.

"Chris!" A sob left me, the slow unsure footsteps around us told me the others were here. Too stunned to speak as well. Not to mention I was, but a slight hesitation was in the back of my mind I couldn't do it. But the feeling of his skin getting warm and his heartbeat thudding on my skin felt good, making all this worth it.

"Damn, girl. You look like hell." Chris slowly strapped his arm on my shoulder and got to sit up, vincing ever so slightly of the pain. My head rose up immediately as I punched his arm lightly, glaring. "You're bleeding from your eyes, in case you didn't know." He wiped the liquid away from my eyes, an odd look on his face.

"Easy." I snapped.

"You're a lot more resilient than I thought." Armen's voice groaned in wonder beside us, his huge muzzle nudging Chris' arm. To my surprise Chris grinned back at him and nodded grateful, noticing Ben standing there a little unsure.

"Aw, man. Don't you dare be mad at me, bro." Chris pointed a sharp finger at the Shapeshifter who in return lunged to attack-- his arms wrapping around the breathing Demon Slayer tight. "Ow, ow. Now, don't ruin the work our princess did."

A small laugh left me as I slowly took a little distance, leaning back. It was to give him and the others some space. A sight that made my being internally grateful of such power. A strong chest was there to catch my faltering body, Alchadar giving me a soft smile in return. His arms lazy on my sides as he engulfed me against him, letting me know I had done it. The thought made me smile wide and both of us turned to look at Ben glaring through angry tears at Chris, a loud sob leaving him.

"I want to punch you so bad." Ben argued but sat down next to Chris, a sigh of frustration leaving him. "But I'm really glad I didn't loose you yet. Our bet however... I won." A grin was on his face, to which Chris frowned a little. A realization dawned on him.

"Is he...?" Chris questioned, turning to the large group of people looking at him wondering.

"Dead." Alchadar nodded to his questionable look, reaching out to put a reassuring hand to his shoulder. "We're glad to have you back, even though you didn't get to see it yourself." Chris nodded grateful in return, a still puzzled look on his face. Alchadar returned his hand to rest on my lap, his presence calming my nerves to no end. Fighting against the exhaustion was really my worst enemy at the moment, I didn't want to miss any of these moments.

We had won.

And the world is finally free.

"We won!"

"We killed the old Satan's offspring!"

"We get to go home now!"

The loud cheers of everyone behind us brought some smiles on everyone's faces, the day had been too long. Almost too long for everyone. After so many setbacks and twisted turn of events we somehow managed to pull out of it all. Together, united as one. No matter the race, skin or what you were. The thought made me smile a little wider as I lent my head fully to Alchadar behind me, enjoying the excited yells instead of painful battle roars.

So, this was the aftermath of war?

The satisfied feeling of victory?

... Yet I don't feel too grateful.

"It does seem something really bad happened." Chris' eyes wondered to the battle field where most of the corpses laid upon on, countless lives lost. It made me freeze a little as well, remembering the countless souls wandering around this graveyard. Their souls restless and not able to go to Heaven of the regret. It was a long mission to ensure their safety or awaken their souls to life... one I feared I might not be able to overcome myself. However I made a promise.

And I tend to keep it.

"Well, the mad King turned to a Ragnarok at the last second." Praxina's voice spoke up, I peeked to see her quickly wiping away her eyes. Did I just see correct? "Almost wiped us out clean."

"Aw... are you crying for me, Elfie?" Chris teased with a grin on his face, earning a very dangerous look from Praxina. Her eyes were consumed of tears again... however I didn't know angry ones or relieved ones. "Come here." He offered his arm up, to which Praxina glared at for a long time. Armen grinned and nudged with his butt the Elf princess forward, causing her to loose her footing and fall almost perfectly to Chris' arms. "Now, there there. I get to tease you still for a long time." Chris brought her close to his chest and ruffled up her hair, to which Praxina struggled against.

"Fuck you-!" Praxina snarled, trying to carefully free herself to not harm Chris. It was in vain since it seemed the Demon Slayer was almost fully healed, gotten used to his once lost soul.

"Careful, guys!" Bella tried to reason some sense in them, but to almost in vain. I watched Mona shook her head not any warm manner as she took her wand, spiking some kind of shockwave through it. Praxina and Chris immediately released their fighting bodies, glaring up at the fairy.

"What'd you do that for!?

"What'd you do that for!?"

"You're acting like children." Mona groaned out loud.

"What!?"

"What!?"

"Stop mimicking me!"

"Stop mimicking me!"

The small laughs erupting from me and Alchadar were evident, not to mention the people around us. They were the same, not even a glimpse of anything changing. I felt relaxed. I felt at peace. The glances I shared to everyone felt good, they were alive and breathing. Everyone laughing and enjoying each other's presence. There was a lot more relaxation however... I believe it was the fact what had taken place in this wretched place.

"It's over?" My words were mearly a whisper, as I continued to watch the chaotic situation unfolding before me. Praxina and Chris now picking up a fight with Mona and Armen, Ben trying to be the calm one and get everyone to calm down.

"It's over." Alchadar lent his forehead on top of my head, the realization dawned to him as well. A smile escaped my lips as I relaxed fully to him again, feeling the exhaustion. It would be a good time for a little nap. "Rest. You've earned it." He placed almost invicible kiss on top of my head, noticing my consciousness almost fading.

"-- Oh, fuck me."

What is that?

Dagon's voice was enough to confuse me awake. As well as the sudden ominous swift power changes in the air.

Alchadar tensed behind me and turned to look somewhere, the fighting group of ours looking as well. Something was coming. I didn't get to look as I was scooped up from the ground, Alchadar's back turning to what was coming. My legs and back tightly held under his strong arms.

"What is it?" I questioned and tried peeking, almost to no vain as Zena appeared in front of me. Kind of harshly wiping away the blood from my face and putting a hoodie to cover my face and body, my eyes narrowing in confusion. Daniel was already under a long cloak, giving me a little apologetic look. "Why?"

"High Council." Zena snapped to me, almost as if it would explain everything. Not to say my confusion rose even more. "If they were to find out there's more Angels alive..."

High Council?

Ben mentioned it of before...

"They'd take you away." Alchadar finished her sentence, slowly and almost reluctantly turning to the situation behind us. My eyes widened slightly. How could they do that? That's insane! His arms tightened around my back and legs, turning me so I'd face his chest more than the immense power coming up in the distance. "Don't move."

A nod of confusion was all that left me as I peeked to see. Huge forces were resting at the end of the clearance, flying hornets and machine ships covered the skies and armoured troopers the grounds. They had flags put on the spears of a certain Insignia, one I didn't recognize. A face of someone. They had a clear color formation, purple and white. They looked like what I thought Councils were, united army of powerful men and women.

And all of them were suddenly here.

"-- What is the meaning of this gathering?" A woman that looked like a beast-human called out, resembling a mongoose. Her ears sharp and short, body type strong and slim. Not to say I'm impressed, but she did give me chills.

"It's something you people couldn't do." Dagon was the first to speak out, the forces behind us a little vary as he dared to say such a thing. Was it bad? "A united army with one purpose only, to put an end to King Belial's reign."

"Pardon our rudeness. But it's odd to hear such a thing coming from a Demon." A male next to the odd woman spoke out, eyeing Dagon a little suspicious. My eyes narrowed, that dude!

"It's true." Chris called out, trying to resolve would a different person say it work. "The mad King's dead, end of story."

"Is he truly dead?" A magician asked from the lower ranks, she was too beautiful to exist. Almost like a flower that just bloomed with her pink hair and soft white skin, looking like a doll. However I wouldn't mistake saying she's nice, the strong aura radiating off her told me she packed up some magic.

"Hard to say. Turned to a dust." Praxina said to them next, standing close to us. I could almost feel the annoyed grin on her face. It was true. There wasn't exactly any potential proof of his demise, since there was no body or item to hold. His body had turned to a dust because of the Holy light's effect, thanks to the purification.

"Dust?" The woman in the middle asked eager, her head tilting to hear better.

"Are you deaf?" Dagon asked, earning a hard punch to his shoulder by Zena. Both of them glared at each other, the other trying to get the other to shut up.

"Is here a Priest?" The woman questioned next, looking around. My head pushed to the fabric more as I felt Alchadar's uneasiness radiating, knowing the words were badly chosen. No, there was no Priest. Could you leave us alone? "The only ones able to cast out Demons or dark entities are the followers of God. Which explains them turning to dust." She took a few steps forward, eyeing the wide range of people in the crowd. Small whispers were heard which made me realize that the ranks knew...

"-- An unknown person appeared and finished what was left of the Ragnarok." Alchadar's chest rumbled as he spoke out, a lie in his story. It made me narrow my eyes a little, but I knew we needed something. The purple eyes was felt immensely on us. "That much we do know."

"A person?" She questioned with interest, stopping on her spot in the distance. Dagon and Zena stood there in front of her, Armen, Praxina, Chris and Ben making a strong hold to stop her moving anymore. She eyed all of them suspiciosly.

"-- Came from the skies!" Someone yelled from the crowd.

"A white miracle!" Another one yelled as well.

"Didn't really know what it was until it disappeared again without a trace!"

Everyone...

"I see..." The woman grasped her hands behind her back, wondering. Was this the head of the High Council? "In case there are any more sightings of them inform the High Council of it, am I understood?" She asked as she paced back and forth, eyeing the ranks and the troopers with a stern look. It almost made me question why was there such a rush to find out about us?

"Yes, ma'am." Dagon snarled and glared at the beast-human in front of him, earning a warning look back. The woman slowly returned back towards the rest of the High Council members, the grin Dagon made to Zena didn't go unnoticed. Almost as if stating he could be nice if asked. "We done?"

"We're done." She answered stern, not looking back.

Phew.

"You're allowing them get away with this, Paula?" The strange God asked once she passed him, his hollow grey eyes eyeing the troopers and ranks suspiciosly. It would appear he wasn't satisfied of letting us go.

"Although it is against the rules to make such huge gatherings behind the High Council's back," Paula turned around and grasped her hands behind her back again, nodding to everyone to prove out her point. "I'll allow it only this once. I'm amazed of your bravery and the sacrifice you've made to reach your goal. Take this victory to your hearts and celebrate it. I speak on the behalf of every one of us when I say thank you for putting an end to King Belial and his Kingdom. Your war for justice had been fulfilled."

A small smile crept on my face, wise words.

"Yeah, your welcome." Dagon threw his hands in the air in defeat, Zena snapping his head again.

"We're leaving."

Not anymore, okay?

My eyes felt heavy as they ever were, the darkness consuming me.

I just need to rest a little bit.

'Sleep, my love.'
