Faith:

Odd.

Have I ever felt this light sleeping?

... No.

I'm definitely not sleeping.

That smell... what the hell is it?

"Would you look at this face?"

Wait.

"You sure the potion's enough strong to keep them knocked out?"

Those voices...!

-- A smack.

"See? It's working. Stop doubting me.*

What the hell? I can't move my body!

"Never use it on me, Cam."

Aron and Camilla?

Here?

"We'll see. Ah, look. Should we bring a trophy back? King Belial surely would appreciate his son's head brought on a silver plate?"

... Al!

What are they doing here?

Impossible. What's going on!?

It really took it's toll. But I forced my eyes open. Almost ripped them out of their eye sockets of the action. A familiar ceiling entered my vision, as exactly as I had fallen asleep. On the bed, in the room with the others. I could barely glance to my left and right notifying everyone were heavily asleep, unaware of the danger looming in the room with us.

I tried to speak, no words came out. I tried to move and act, nothing. A twisted spell of Camilla's again?

Then I saw and smelt the strange odor in the air, purple gas surrounding the room we were in. As my eyes traveled further I noticed the two evil beings in the room with us, looming over Alchadar's body resting beside me. I noticed the dagger in Camilla's grasp, my eyes widened. Not him, not like this.

I tried to move, force my body to act.

I can't...

"Now, don't get carried away." Aron grabbed her hand and frowned, crossing his arms. "As much as I'd like to do it as well Belial would have our heads for it. And then we'd be on his list of persons of interest." A sigh left the hybrid standing his back to me, almost disappointed. My eyes narrowed, they were still working for the Demon Kingdom? On what purpose?

And why here?

"Bummer." Camilla slipped her dagger back in to her sleeve, the red dress hugging her body ominously fitting enough for her. Evil and bloody. "It would've been so easy." She hissed and bent down, the corner of her fang grazed Alchadar's cheek. A small open wound present. It make me flinch- I saw red. How dare she?

And yet the Demon partner of mine didn't move.

They're all in this vegetative state?

-- But are they still unsconscious and heavily asleep?

... Wait.

'Al? Please, wake up!'

Nothing. Alchadar was still sleeping peaceful, not even a single hair on his face moved by my words. What was this evil spell? If they were capable of such things I was afraid what will wait for us in two days. Was this only a fraction of their powers, more or so the underline of the creatures below Demons?

"The potion's out." Aron glanced over his shoulder at something on the floor, a disappointed sigh leaving him. The dangerous purple thing was out? Does it mean we'd soon regain and be able to act. "Ah, look who's awake?"

My eyes flew to his, the familiar blue and black eye staring in mine now. Sudden occurence I hadn't thought about. I narrowed my eyes deep, trying to stand and wipe out the smile covering his facial expression. It was in vain, I still couldn't move. Not even enough to spit at his face. All I could do was communicate through my eyes, trying to be intimidate enough.

The corner of my eye captured Camilla smirk, and jump in my direction over Alchadar's bed. I almost flinched of the dagger pressing my jaw now. The sharp steel ready to draw out blood. And the vampire Queen's red eyes burning a hole in through my forehead, a menacing laugh leaving her.

"Oh, how I've waited for this." Camilla pressed harder, I could still feel pain. And feel the steel draw blood. "Just knowing you can't do anything but watch is making me aroused," She brought the steel close to her face and licked the blood off it, moaning in return. Then her hand flew to my hair, it running through them a few times. "Should we start by clipping off your fingers one by one?"

My eyes widened in return. Was this my doings? Were they here to torture me- to kill me?

I'd so want to punch her teeth in her throat.

"Now, now. You'll have your fun with her later." Aron sat on the bed I was resting on, reaching towards my waist. I wanted to move so bad. To get away in his grasp. Whatever the hell they were intending to do wasn't going to be nice I could see and feel it. And then I managed to shift slightly in my spot, earning a small glance between the enemy beside me. "Oh? You're a lot feistier than the others."

Aron chuckled and continued his research, clipping my belt off me. It was so uncomfortable to just stare in horror and not be able to move. What was he planning to do? Strip me naked and do what he pleases?

I'd kill myself trying to stop him.

"Such nice steel." Aron brought my weapon belt on his lap and drew out my blade, whistling of the sight. He held it up towards the ceiling and admired it, almost as if it had been the one thing they were looking for. "Does it cut?"

As if on cue, a sharp and unbearable pain pierced through my leg. My eyes widened yet shut close, tears begun to form. My father's blade embedded deep in my femur bone. I wanted to scream, cry out and kick him in the nuts. Afterwards wipe out the smiles off their faces. I could do none of that and felt the emotional wreckage it made me, such a dirty and evil trick to pull on someone.

"Well enough." Camilla snorted as she continued to pat my hair, almost soothing. "Now, don't start crying princess. We're not killing you, yet."

I glared up at her through tears, vincing once Aron pulled out the blade out of my leg. Bloody hell. It felt like something was ripping out of my flesh and bone. Burning and twisting at the same time. What made me feel even more powerless was watching Aron close the distance to Alchadar laying beside me, the Demon unknown of the events unfolding before him.

No...!

"A little hint to them." Aron grinned as he wiped my blood all over Alchadar's shirt, ominous and evil look on his face. Then he wiped the rest to his fingers, and walked towards sleeping Armen, Bella and Mona on the floor. I widened my eyes twice as bad, but almost calmed down as I noticed him draw blood marks on their faces. He wasn't going to hurt them. It was evident for some odd reason I was the target, and I was glad since I was present. It would've been devastating to die in your sleep. "Such nice and warm goodbyes from our dearest Faith."

... Goodbyes?

What does he mean by that?

My eyes narrowed as I glared up at the laughing Camilla beside me, apparently my confusion amusing to her. Yes I was aware I'd meet my end in their hands later, whatever the hell that meant. But what did goodbyes mean?

"You're coming with us. King Belial wants to meet you, and-" Camilla said ominous, her red eyes looking deep in mine to make her words stuck deep in my brain. "It'll most definitely have his son come running back home to Papa. And once he does he'll be locked in a cellar and we get to kill you and your pathetic team. A win's a win, am I right?"

An evil laugh escaped her, a sudden feeling of power and the evil plan of theirs seeming to come together. I however narrowed my eyes. King Belial wants to meet me? Now, that sounded anything but pleasing. I'd definitely meet my end faster than recalled, or more so knowing Alchadar would come after me. Yet they weren't aware of all this. The place we were and why, and the fact we were marching towards the Demon Kingdom tomorrow.

Good.

I'll get to have my sweet revenge.

"-- Y-yeah."

A grin mesmerized my face, as I noticed I could wiggle my toes. And the fact I could rasp out a word out of my body. I struck my head up at quite the force, managing to land a quick one on the shocked vampire Queen and hit my forehead to hers. The action was enough to have my body shaking, the potion's affect still strong. Yet as I noticed Camilla fall on the ground on her ass and hold her face in shock, I pushed my body.

Now or never.

I groaned and pushed to my feet, almost jumping to not fall on the ground. I crawled to Alchadar's bedside and acted quick, tearing a strand of my hair and putting it in his palm. "Al! Wake up!" I tried, knowing it was almost pointless.

"I'll kill you-!" Camilla launched forward.

"Whoa, whoa!" Aron jumped between us and stopped Camilla from murdering me with her dagger, ominous and murderous look on her face. I almost couldn't hide the grin covering my face as I noticed her nose bleeding, serves her right. "Don't go killing our target. Not yet. Where would the fun be in that?"

Aron laughed and turned around creepily fast, grabbing a tight hold of the back of my head. I tried to fight against it, my body failing me miserably. I was a shaking mess of the after effects of the poison they used, but also my body was eager to heal the wound on my thigh and my neck. I tried to resist it, knowing I could ruin everything.

They can't see me.

I won't let them.

"-- Faith!?"

A sudden echo of a voice behind the door to our room was heard, earning Camilla and Aron to turn look at it almost bored. It made me freeze hopeful, Daniel? Had Daniel sensed the danger? No... he must've smelt my blood. It was a lot stronger for him to know something was wrong, and it would seem this was no different.

"Time to go." Camilla groaned and picked herself up, taking the empty bottle of her evil liquid from the ground. She swung her arm and before her opened up a portal, almost the same one she used to get away back then with Aron.

"Dan-!" I tried, but a hand was slammed on my mouth. I glared up but was left frozen, a fist coming at my face this time. It was quick and knocked me right out, leaving me scattered and fearful mess of myself.

"Not this time."
