Ch. 1 | The Beginning

Hey to the reader who is about to start reading this book- I won't bother long!

First of all this book will contain very horrifying parts, much of much blood (please don't get concerned of me I'm completely sane), cursing normally, somehow sexual scenes, torture, killing/dying, so yeah... if you're not fine with these then I'm saying that I don't recommend you to read, but if you got the guts... Good luck!

And for those who are completely fine with all that you're as sick as I am.

Second of all I will be using pictures which will help you guys to understand better the story, thanks to my bad english- but they will be borrowed, so all credits to the creators of them!

And last thing I wanna say is that it'll be a big plus for me if you guys would help me writing this story. I take up all the suggestions with open arms and hear ya out if you want to help me to form the story and for it to become much more exciting and adventurous to read.

But, this was all.

Now I will let you continue, don't say I didn't warn ya!

~Enjoy.

The air contains such bewildering scent of all time-

"Get the girl!"

Fresh blood.

My lungs were heaving.

"There!"

Begging to have more air.

"Don't let the slave escape!"

Now was the real deal.

My physical condition may have not been the best at a time, unable to provide me the strenght I needed badly.

"Surround the human!"

The angry commands of the men behind me seemed getting louder, which added my adrenaline storage more than it should've have. I made a single glance over my shoulder to see pitch black woods, quick and big shadows the ones chasing me.

I already crossed the border line, now if I just made it a little longer... I might had stood a chance to escape.

Seeing I had quite the head-start here from them I stopped by a tree for a minute to catch my breath, trying to figure out in the dark where I could escape these monsters.

It was till an arrow struck the tree-- and in panick I made full run for it to a random direction.

They got archers only to catch one pathetic slave?

I ran straight to a small river up ahead, which proved to be a wrong move since it slowed me down dearly, and now I had to wade my way over it water reaching up to my upper torso.

"She's in the river- get a proper aim!"

Master Ezekiel must've really be pissed.

I didn't even do my worse.

"And make it a good one."

I had goosebumps running down my spine, that voice was enough to have an entire group of soldiers piss themselves even of the sight.

To think Master even sent his Demon buddy after me...

As I tried to run through the strong current with corner of my eye I saw arrows hit either the water or the land coming up ahead, clearly these achers weren't the best of kind.

Until it was my time to experience what it feels like to have an arrow stuck on my flesh.

The moment I felt myself being hit to my right arm I stumbled for a second, but stubbornly continued to get on the ground. The pain was unbearable under the water, but even worse as the gravity took control and twitched the bleeding spot. While I had been too occupied with my arm the moment I got on the solid ground my left feet was itchy of souring pain, making me realize how impossible it was for me to run now.

What had I done- sprained it for real?

I was slower enough to the Demon, and now if I would make run for it the lizards would get me easily.

What choices does it leave to me?

I panted there like a fish on the ground, looking back at my lizard chasers which were crossing the river already, along with the Demon accompanying them. I had really got myself into a real trouble this time, had I? Of this would follow a crucial punishment.

Even deadly one.

The thought made me shiver, though I didn't give them the satisfaction to see that.

"You really are a pain in the ass, little girl." The Demon, also known as Damon and the 'outcast' stated, giving me his usual really outrageous yet succeeded face knowing I would suffer far worse pain than they would.

I made no move or expression to show I was willing to communicate with them, but rather trying to still find a way out of this.

I had came this far.

I couldn't give up.

Out of all the tries I've made this one clearly encourages me to still find a solution--

But what?

"We should just kill the human." One of the lizard men said with his tongue swirling, my eyes burned of rage. Even as a slave, I was a difficulty to handle.

A rebellion was what I usually got called.

It might be true.

But if I'd only have a bow like theirs- then I would become a fighter.

"Your Master will be the one to deside her fate-" Damon approached, that was when I got tense. His humongous size and body built was like three times larger than mine, but of height-- well yeah he's three heads taller still.

As my final conclusion I ended up picking a palm-sized rock in panick and threw it at him, before time he was distracted and I was again on the run.

Well, limping the best I could with the arrow still on my arm and my ankle giving me no mercy either.

And not exactly to continue my original plan; but even crazier idea had invaded my mind. And my body had given it's consent.

I was running along the river:

Heading towards a waterfall.

It doesn't matter do I die by the time they kill me of frustration, or when I die with the water.

The second would be peaceful.

The first not so much...

"NO- Get her!" Damon roared, loads of running footsteps were now after me.

This just gave me the chills, I was like a puny innocent deer running for my life from a pack of lions after me, trying to get away. I wanted out. I needed to get out. All the things I had experienced during my time as a slave were horrific, unfair, hideous-- words can't describe it.

It was no life.

And that thought was my final sentence as I ignored the pain coursing through my body, sprained ankle and right arm. Hell- I was going to get out one way or another.

"We believe in you. You are stronger than this."

A bunch of arrows slowed me down as they landed in front of me, so I had to round them up quick. But it didn't take long as a humongous figure landed right next to me, my body as if locking itself up. Why did Demons have this kind of ability to make people startled to death?

Ohh, maybe it's because they're far more powerful!

Within a minute his fist was full of my hair as he lifted me off the ground, my body immediately reacting to the pain it caused as I tried to reach his face, but it was impossible. He was just too big and I was too small to pick up a fight with him- Gosh I must've look pathetic.

"Hmph." He groaned in annoy and moved his arm more up, tearing my hair as I had now concentrated to get him release his grip on me.

I screamed for Christ's sake loudly.

It hurt like hell I tell you.

"Now the girl's not running away." By now each of the archers and lizard men had gathered around the Demon, watching me like a trolphy they needed to make their Master happy. I knew that was the case. If they lost me, there would be a punishment waiting for them. But if they got me, I would be absolutely the one to get it.

"You fucking bitch-" One of the lizard's intended to strike me with a punch but Damon lifted me off the way to avoid it, I didn't know which would've hurt more but in this situation it was his grip on my hair.

"We don't touch her. If your Master sees other bruices on her you'll get in trouble." Damon groaned, he begun to move while holding me in the air, making my scream of pain echo even louder. How did Demons have so much strenght? No normal human could keep a girl of my age up in the air holding me from my hair-- I bet Demons had possessed such powers through hard training.

I'm thinking that while he's heading towards my Master!?

"L-let me go!" My voice was as hoarse as it could be, might be thanks to all the running, lack of speaking and the way I kept screaming.

Damon snorted loudly and grinned proudly, he wasn't going to keep listening to me. He was merciless. Evil. Full of himself. Powerful and strong. He knew he didn't have to tolerate me, he could easily just snap my neck within a second, yet he enjoyed to be the one to do my punishment.

Indeed, Damon was the one who did all the punishments for our Master. Master Ezekiel just told the way, and Damon would agree.

Don't get me wrong Damon isn't a servant of his, but still loyal as his Second in Command... I think?

I really need to get out.

I struggled, for God's sake swinged and tried to get his grib on me released, but he only squeezed his fist tighter, having unhuman groan of pain leave my throat. Damon and I were sworn enemies, if he could have an opportunity to hurt me he would use it, while I would try my everything to stop him.

"You still have the guts to fight against me, little girl?" Damon stopped for my surprise, lifting me up so I was facing him face to face. I glared at him with dead eyes, the air coming out of my nose like I had run just a mile. He chuckled darkly, reading my face when he brought me even closer. If I wouldn't be to occupied to have his grip released I would've punched him, but I think he made sure I wouldn't by shaking his fist. Now I whined, it felt so painful. "I can tell you, I admire it. But it's just useless."

My breathing oddly increased as I just wanted to kill him by the spot, he was using my vulnerablesness as his advantage. It made me outrageous. I wanted to hurt him.

Bad.

"Shall we continue without further struggling?" He cocked, while I tried to maintain my coolness. I knew if I started to burst my anger out like this it wouldn't save me out of it, but I would dig even more deeper hole to myself.

I didn't answer.

It was quiet for a minute.

Silence.

But this I do remember-

Hell was suddenly on the loose.

A paw, size of me was the only thing I saw before I was released. When I fell to the ground my gaze rose, only to see huge teeth sunk to Damon's shoulder, it ravaging it's head uncontrollably. A second humongous dog formed out of the woods and attacked on the lizards, glancing me like I was gonna be their next target.

There was no arguing about it.

These humongous dogs... were Werewolfs.

Loved picking up fights.

My ticket out of here.

Before I even turned on my side I saw Damon punch the white wolf's side very hard, where I could hear unpleasent sound of something cracking and the Werewolf whine out in pain. But the wolf never let go, in fact held the Demon more tighter. The Werewolf's eyes were crimson red, telling me it... he, was an Alpha.

Why would a pack be all the way out of here-- attacking to the strongest ones instead of the weak?

Wondering that in middle of chaos?

What is wrong with me?

Stupid- GET UP AND RUN.

Like a direct order I got up on my feet, and started little hesitantly going towards the waterfall. I was still little in shock of what was going on, it distracted me a bit but didn't stop me from limping to the edge.

I looked down, the fall was going to be long and not easy one.

Wind brushed my hair and small clothing I wore, already giving me chills. The water was cold. It was mid night and a deadly fall to the unknown-- it was fifty/fifty situation. I either made it or died.

But one thing I knew;

There was no backing away from this.

It's just a waterfall?

How bad can 30 feet fall be...?

"-- Out of my way!" Damon's frustrated growl I didn't miss.

I glanced back just in time to witness him throwing the full grown male Werewolf straight to a tree, his eyes changing color to a pitch black; telling he was absolutely pissed.

And heading my way at full speed.

Five seconds to think. To go-- or to stay.

Well, it isn't exactly a difficulty to deside that.

One of the brown wolves' charged at Damon but he sweeptly jumped over him, taking good speed of the wolf to reach me more faster. The lizard men were pretty much all dead, laying on the ground liveless and covered in their green blood.

But can I face the reality by the end of that river?

Within a minute Damon was the least of my worries:

As one of the Werewolf's came right at me, a pitch black who was even bigger than the Alpha. His dark brown eyes burned to kill, his form telling he wasn't there to give me any help to deside- more likely to snap my head off the place.

Let me tell you.

That was the last adrenaline burst I needed, as I jumped.

"NO!"

The moment I jumped and went with the gravity I was paralyzed, my entire body locked and my brain couldn't tell what was going on.

Then,

Endless darkness and silence surrounded me, as I believe I lost my consciousness.
