Here a few notes in regards to my Superman IV rewrite...

The villain
As I said in my actual rewrite; I know that the character of Cyborg Superman didn't debut until 1993 while Superman IV came out in 1987... Therefore; I am more than happy to tweak the story to include a different villain... I was thinking of either using Brainaic or Amazo. The main reason that I would use Brainiac is to give Superman a villain that has close ties to his home planet; plus, he is also one of the big villains in the mythos next to Lex Luthor and General Zod; both of which had already appeared on screen at this point in the films (Lex Luthor was played by Gene Hackman and Zod was played by Terrence Stamp). On the other hand, using Amazo would mean that we would have a villain who could easily copy the powers of Superman like in the comics and the fight between them would be similar to what happened in the actual film. Also; since Amazo is an Android, he could still be created by Lex Luthor.

Superman V?
Now I know that there wasn't a Superman V due to the fact that Superman IV was a terrible film (And I'm not dodging that fact at all folks!); but speaking of Amazo as the villain of Superman IV, I was thinking that this fan made fifth film could introduce another android character into the mix. That character is Red Tornado, a character who first appeared in 1968 as a member of the Justice League; the robot could be based on the Amazo model from my Superman IV rewrite but altered by scientists in order to create an ally for Superman to help him out.

So there are my notes on the first version of my rewrite of Superman IV! Let me know if I could change anything else!
