You ever have that one friend that asks: "Hey can you please check out my story and let me know what you think?"

Then you start reading it and you're like:😬

Yeah.

Me too.

I really hate when I'm reading a friends story and it just...sucks. I'm sorry but your story sucks.

And no, I'm not the best writer. I'm always improving. There's always room for improvement. But when I say suck I mean it's just...idek

Don't get me wrong the idea for it may be good. But the writing is awful. There's lots of grammar mistakes, the plot is rushed, (ex. female MC and male MC hate each other in chapter one. By chapter two they're having sex. When tf did that happen?), or it just doesn't make sense in general.

I'm an honest person. If someone asks me to read and review their story I tell them the truth. I correct their mistakes and tell them how they can improve. I let them know what I like. But with friends it's so much harder because you don't want to hurt their feelings, ya know?

Example of a not so good story:

Chapter 1

my alarm clock beeps. i groan and shut it off and and roll out of bed. Stacy get ready for skool! My mom yells. i walk to my bathroom. i shower
i and brush my teeth.

i pull on jeans and a sweater i put my hair in a pony tail. R u ready for this? i ask myself in the mirror

my mom is makeing breakfast for me downstairs. They'res pancakes egg bacon and juic. Yummy! I say to my mom sitting down and wolfing down my breakfast. after im done i sliing my bag over my shoulder and walk to skool.

my best friend ashley is waiting at my locker.

hey GURL! She explains. you looking fab!

lol i laugh at he sillyness.

then i see him. ryder black the baddest boy in skool

i hate him i grrr

Chapter 2

at lunch rydwr comes up to me.  i really like you stacy he says b

i like you two i smile

we make out and i realise iM in luv wit him

i luv u baby he says

i luv u two

den we ride of into the sunset
