When I was a freshman I minded my own buissnes, got good grades, and stuck with my group of friends. And I had a great year.

But some of you guys do the most.

RULE #1:

DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT TRY TO STUNT AND SAY CLASS OF WHATEVER YOU ARE RUNNING SHIT CAUSE YOU NOT. YOU NOT RUNNING NOTHING.

RULE #2: stay humble

You're a freshman ok? In eighth grade you were top of the food chain but now you're not. You are at the bottom again. You're not the predator anymore. You are the PREY. So stay humble and don't try to be what you're not. Because you will get STOMPED ON.

RULE #3: don't bring no gum to school

People who have never even talked to you will start asking you for some damn gum with they broke asses. If it's your friends or people you know sure, but random strangers? Hell no. Because no matter what you do you will always feel obligated to give them a piece. In a matter of seconds your gum packet WILL BE EMPTY. Tbh I just straight up lie and say I don't have none. No fucks given

RULE #4: DONT STOP IN THE MF HALLWAY

IF YOU DO THIS I WILL RUN YO ASS OVER. PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO GET TO CLASS AND IF YOU ARE IN THE WAY EXPECT TO BE SHOVED ASIDE

RULE #5: expect to not have classes with your friends

This is high school. It's no longer middle school. There are so much more classes you have to take to graduate and way more teachers. So expect to not have every class with your friends. Time to learn to be independent and meet new people. Time to grow up 😊

RULE #6: do your homework, study, etc

Try not to procrastinate because it will catch up to you. I swear I'm not even kidding I did this and was swamped with assignments near the end of the term. Do your homework every night and study for tests. STUDY because you gonna be looking stupid when that test is set in front of you and you scratching your head

RULE #7 don't be a class clown

It was cute in middle school but not anymore. Because now everyone gonna be looking at you like😑

RULE #8 BRING YA OWN HEADPHONES

RULE #9: do activities, sports, clubs

Don't just come to school everyday and go home. That's boring. Get involved. Do a sport or activity. At least join a club. It looks good on college applications

RULE #10: don't take long in the lunch line

Know what you want because in high school the lines are long asf and mfs are hungry asf (me) so don't be standing there like ummmmm because I'm gonna look at you like this😐

RULE #11: get in good with the teachers

I don't know anyone in high school who makes fun of students and calls them teachers pets because it's actually cool to be chill with your teachers. And if you're chill with them then you can be asking them for favors and ish such as borrowing money, food, etc. and they're gonna be like sure cause they like you. So be friendly to your teachers. Also when it comes time for college applications and you need teacher recommendation letters they'll only have good things to say about you. Trust me it pays off

RULE #12: THE SENIORS DONT LOVE YOU

now I'm not saying it's impossible to be friends with seniors because it isn't. Believe it or not freshman and seniors can co-exist. BUT if you're a FRESHMAN GIRL dating a SENIOR GUY then YOU NEED TO RE-EVALUATE YOUR LIFE. You are just starting high school. They are about to leave. It's wam, bam, thank you mam with them. Don't do it. Don't be that one girl who falls for it. I'm telling you right now. Take my advice or learn the hard way. Stay in your age group.

And that's pretty much it. Don't be afraid cause high school is nothing like it is in the movies. Don't get in drama and be friendly to every one. Get good grades and GRADUATE. 🎓 99% of the time the people in high school don't matter because every one is gonna graduate and go their separate ways. So don't sweat it. If you don't stay in contact they weren't your real friends anyway *shrugs*
