"Autumn?" I cried, rushing towards her. She ran towards me, and we embraced in the middle of the hall. Well, she embraced me. I gave her an awkward, one-armed hug. We had hugged for a solid minute, and Jake cleared his throat. "Umm..." he began. "Do you think we should probably, uh, ya know... get outta here?" He asked with a slightly amused, slightly embarrassed look.

"Yeah, probably." I sighed as our embrace ended. Autumn looked happy but quickly turned to terror as recognition dawned in her eyes. "Sandra... Sandra is dead." She said with a quiver in her voice and a tear in her eye. "WHAT?!" I gasped. She looked down. "Yeah..." Autumn whispers.

"Holy shit..." I exhale. "Those... those fucking monsters. Assholes. Dickbags..." I murmur, mostly to myself. "Yeah." Autumn sighs. "Uh... 'scuse me, but... who's Sandra? And we really should get outta here..." Jake said, glancing around. I just now realize that I barely knew Sandra, and it feels like there is a hole where my heart should be. But I didn't even know her last name, and I fell destroyed.

Autumn just begins to answer Jake, when I hear him chuckle. Repeatedly. I widen my eyes in confusion and anger. I turn around, about ready to yell at him, when I see he and Autumn with pale faces and stony stances. Then I notice it  isn't Jake who is laughing.

There's someone behind Autumn and Jake. And he's laughing. He slowly wanders towards us, with his hands deep in his pockets. "Well now. Isn't this a nice little package. Touching, even." The man laughs.

"Now who the fuck are you?" Autumn asks, all patience and manners gone now. He comes closer, and stands right behind Jake. Jake turns and peers at him through the darkness. He suddenly stiffens and gasps, his face pale. "Finally recognized me, huh?" The stranger asks Jake.

Jake only replies with one word: "Logan?!" The man smiled. "Ah, so you finally remembered me, eh Jacob?"
