(Y/N)'s pov

"Kageyama must play setter the entire
game"

everyone's eyes widened inlcuding mine I looked at Tobio and then at Sugawara san , Silence filled the room until Tanaka san spoke again "what's that about?" he asked through gritted teeth

"sounds like they're not interested in Karasuno , They  just wants to asses Kageyama" he added

"are they underestimating us? are they??" he asked while wearing a scary 'gangster' like face as he leans towards Takeda sensei "well... that's not quite how it is" the poor teacher answers while smiling nervously

"sounds good" Sugawara san said catching everyone's attention and causing for me  and the others to give him a worried look  "we don't get chances like this that often" he added with an obviously forced smile ,

"you're going to agree to that Suga san??" Tanaka san asked the 3rd year who gave him a small smile and  a nod "but you're the official setter of Karasuno" I told him while frowning

He smiles "I...I want to see how effective Hinata's and Kageyama's attack will be against a top four team" he said in a serious tone , and the two looked shocked

Sugawara san looked at Dadchi who nods and asked for Takeda sensei to explain the details

I looked at Tobio and Hinata who were both too busy listening to Takeda sensei I sighed and pout a little,

I'm feeling so out of place.

sure, I do know a lot about
volleyball and I used to play. But
it feels awkward being there and listening to them when I should not even be there... so I left and decided
to just go home

I mumbled as I look at the time , its 6:43 pm and I'm lost.

I continued walking until I spot a familiar silver haired boy , its Sugawara san! he can help me find my way back home

I yelled his name as I run towards him , he turned around and I was met with his shiny silver watery eyes...

he's crying.

"Sugawara san..?" I whispered in a worried tone, he immediately wiped his eyes and forced a smile "(L/N) san...wh-why are you still here?" he asked

"I should be asking you the same thing..." I mumbled and pulled him in a hug , then he burst into tears.

after he calmed down a little bit , we sat on a bench and talked about why he was crying

"is it because of the practice match?"
I asked , he stares at his lap and nod "I..I know I shouldn't be upset because it's for the team anyways but I just... I
couldn't help but feel sad at the thought of not being able to play and I- ... I'm sorry" he rambles and starts crying again

I let out a sigh and put my hand on
his shoulder "I suck at comforting but.. dont apologize" I told him , he nods and wiped his cheek "yeah its gonna suck to not be able to play with the team ,

but you're still a member of the team and it doesn't matter if you're just sitting on a bench watching them play.

Also , it's not like this is gonna be
the lastmatch for Karasuno , so you bettere do your best next time cause I'll be there to watch and cheer for you" I added with a smile, he nods and gave me a genuine grin, Which made me smile wider

"(L/N) san..." he called and I looked
at him with a questioning look "yes?" "I uh.. thank you so much" he said, I grinned and nod

"no problem , Sugawara san" I told him and stood up

"are you hungry?" he asked , I was about to shake my head when my stomach decided to answer with a growl. I blushed and looks away "how about we go to a store and buy
pork buns?" He asked

I gasped and nod my head like a child

"Let's go inside so you can choose if you want to buy anything as well" he said and I nod

after looking for some foods and drinks , I went towards Sugawara san so that we can pay together

"you're already done?" he asks and I nod while staring at the foods I'm carrying , he chuckled and we went towards the counter

while I was placing my stuffs on
the counter a familiar voice spoke
"(YN)..?"

I looked up and see a familiar face

Ukai Keishin.

"you guys know each other?" Sugawara san asked , I loomed at
him then at Kai  "holy shit , you're an old man now" I said still staring at the blondie wide eyed.

He grabbed a rolled magazine from god knows where then whacked my head with it "ow-"

"can any of you two please
explain what is going on-" Sugawara san asked ,

the blondie looks at him
"are you (Y/N)'s boyfriend?" he asked , Sugawara san blushed "wh-what are you-"

"He's not." I told him , Kai let's out
a sigh in relief  "thank god , I'm gonna feel so bad for him if he is" he told me , I grabbed the rolled magazine and hit him with it

"excuse me...but what are you two?"
Sugawara san asked

"human beings." Kai said while smoking, causing for me to roll
my eyes "childhood friends but not really" I answered , Sugawara san
tilt his head in confusion but nod
anyways

"so...what are you doing here?"
Kai asked "Tobio asked the same thing" I mumbled ,

"does he know?" he asked me while staring at a confused Sugawara san "know what?" the 3rd year asks 

"that I kill people and eat their orga-" I
said but Kai whacked my head again with the rolled magazine "I was just kidding!" I whined while shielding my head with my hands

"its getting late , you two should go home" Kai told us "uh I forgot where my apartment is.." I smiled awkwardly

"do you remember what street it is?" Sugawara san asked , I nod "yeah , but I don't know which way to go to-"

"still idiot at memorizing places as always" Kai mumbles , I shoot him a glare and he just laughs

"where is it?" Sugawara san asked , so I told him the name of the place and turns out he Lives nearby

"thank you so much Sugawara san"
I said with a smile "it's alright... you helped me earlier too" he said , I chuckled "take care"

and with that , he left
