Freckles
I love your freckles
Those tiny little speckles
That adorn you like so many stars
Some of them beckon
Others, I reckon
Allow only a gaze from afar
Some of them golden
Others are honey
Some are the color of copper
A few shaped like tear drops
A couple like rain
There are even a few that could pass for champagne
Some on your forehead
A few near your breasts
Others hold dear to your neckline
Those next to your nose
I love I suppose
Because they live next to your eyes
Their appeal's most attractive
And causes a captive
Heartbeat to abandon control
As if chopped by a blender
Their scattered surrender
Adds depth to your beauty and soul
