In the land of Monster Hunter, A hunter Know as Rika recently arrived in the village of Bherna which is one of the four villages. She quickly befriended the town's People Especially a little girl know as Touka who admired her. Early one morning Rika was still sleeping because of her recent quest against a Tetsucabra and was not planning on getting up anytime soon until she heard several knocks on her door. Finally sitting up in her bed Rika stretching her arms still in her Gore Magala armor.

"Huh, I guess I didn't remove my armor," Rika says to herself. Getting out of bed she walks to her door about to open it when she heard a little girls voice and easily recognizing it.

"Rika! Rika! are you awake Rika?" Touka yells still knocking on the door. Rika opens the door and looks at Touka

" I'm awake now," Rika says still a little tired

"Rika the Gal Lady has some new quests. are you going to do them Rika?"

" I might do them," Rika says Kneeling down "Are you going to help me Touka hmm?" she says in a playful voice

"You would let me hunt with you Rika?" Touka asked excitedly.

"Yea when you are little older" Rika replied picking Touka up and holding her on her shoulder
" You're only nine you have to be a least seventeen to hunt your first monster".

"oh....thats stupid, I should hunt them now I'm strong enough," Touka says in her hunter's voice. Rika laughs and starts walking to Toukas house with Touka on her shoulder. As there were walking past the quest gate two hunters were walking back from a quest they just finished.

"Hey, Rika" one of the hunters yells walking towards her. Rika turns towards the voice to see a hunter in Alloy Mail armor.

"Hi, Dakota how was the hunt?" Rika says placing Touka down off her shoulder

"Eh.....I think it was a good hunt. What do you think Jett?" Dakota asks the hunter next to him in Agankto armor.

"It was an okay hunt not one of my better ones" Jett replies as he walks away without saying another word.

"What's his problem?" Touka says in a sassy voice

"Well Touka, Jett has been going through a lot of pressure and stress. He would rather not talk about it okay Touka?"

"Yes, mister. let's go Rika!" Touka says pulling Rika by the arm.

"Okay Touka, see you later Dakota," Rika says as Touka pulls away. Dakota waves bye and walks away. When they arrive at Touka house Touka opens the door and they both walk in.

"Leon are you home?" Touka yells for her brother Leon

"I'm in my room Touka. What do you want?" Leon yells

"Rika is here come say hi to her" Touka yells back. When Leon herd that he sprinted to where Rika and Touka are.

"HI Rika h...how are y....you doing," Leon says looking at Rika

" I'm fine Leon. How is your monster weakness studding going?" Rika says making eye contact with him. Leon Just looks into her eyes dazed out because he secretly has a crush on her even though he's only fifteen and shes nineteen.

"Leon are you okay?" Rika says confused

"Oh sorry dazed out, my studying is going good"

"That's good, keep working on it Leon and you will be a great hunter. But not as good as your sister will be" Rika says tickling Touka as Leon crosses arms at the joke

"No stop it Rika the tickles HAHAHA!" Touka says laughing as Rika continues to tickle her. After a while of spending time with Touka and Leon Rika leave there home at walks around the village for a little thinking of what hunt she should do today. she walked home and grabbed her Gore Magala Longsword and walk towards the quest counter.

Just as she was about to talk to the Gal lady when another female hunter ran up to the Gal lady and asked for a quest. When she was done she looked at Rika not knowing she was there.

"Oh I'm so sorry I didn't see you there" the hunter apologized

" It's okay you seem to be in a rush," Rika says to the hunter

"Say, could you help me with this quest it's my urgent?" The hunter asked

"Well in order to help you with that we would have to go to the hunter's hub. I can't just join you here" Rika replies

"Oh right...wait where are my manners my names Paula" Paula says reaching for a handshake

"Mines Rika nice to meet you, Paula," Rika says Shaking Paulas hand

"Well I got to do my urgent now see you later Rika," Paula says Running towards the quest gate waving bye to Rika. Rika waves back a returns to the Gal Lady. After picking her quest and reading up she sees Leon Running towards her in panic.

"Rika Rika" Leons yells still Running towards her

"Yes, Leon what's wrong? Rika says worried

"it's...it's Touka she in trouble," Leon says trying to catch his breath

"Where is she, Leon?"

"I last saw her running through the quest gate heading towards the Jurassic Frontier," Leon says still in a panic. Rika forgot about the quest she was going to do and ran straight through the quest gate towards the Jurassic Frontier.

When she got there she saw no sign of Touka at the base camp.

"Oh Touka where did you go?" Rika asks herself as she Runs to area 1. She found no sign of Touka but she did sense something very strange. She ran to area 2 and felt a strange feeling again but stronger when she heard a scream in area 6.

"Touka I'm coming " Rika yells Sprinting to area 6. after arriving in area 6 she saw Touka Running from a Gore Magala.

"Touka!" Rika yells Running towards her.

"Rika help me!" Touka yells as the Gore magala was about to attack her. Just before the Dragon was about to attack Touka Rika jumped in the way of the attack protecting Touka. Closing her eyes expecting pain she waited until the Magala to strike. When she opened her eyes she saw that the Gore Magala face was right in front of hers not attacking.

"What the..." Rika says surprised at why it didn't attack. She slowly reaches to touch its head when she is surprised again when it moved closer to her hand and allowing her to pet.

"Rika...." Touka says still scared

"Don't worry Touka, he's not going to hurt you," Rika says still petting his head.

"I can hear him...he's talking to me," She says in her mind

"What's he saying Rika?" Touka asks not as scared as she was.

"He knows where my brother is" Rika replies still petting the black dragon.
