Idling his dark car in the park of the night club, he fidgeted uncomfortably in the nice seat. Sparkles and Angie stumbled back to their car, Minnie their smart driver. He hadn't gone in the night club, but as soon as he spotted Sparkles throwing up in the bush, he pulled in.
He eyed them with a burning fire, trying to spot her short clothes and blonde hair. But Andrian wasn't with her friends tonight. The disappointment that struck deep within him was nothing he had ever felt before, had never wanted to feel.
Huffing he pulled out of the night clubs parking lot. It was stupid for him to have stopped. Thrumming his fingers on the steering wheel, he drove down the dimly lit street. He passed buildings and homes. Some people were awake and let their nice houses be filled with light, and others were dark.
The sound of his ringtone broke his tensioned silence. Quickly he answered it, holding it up to his ear. Everything didn't reach to his brain - where was Andrian? And why did he care?
"Hey Cucciolo, where are you?" The voice of his Mother rang through the phone. Huffing, his eyes trailed across the road, taking a turn down another dark street. "None of your freinds said you were out with them."
"I was just..." he trailed off, grinning while he eased his car down another empty street. He had no idea where he was driving to. Only that Andrian wasn't anywhere to be found. His moral compass - more like dick compass - would choose his next woman to sleep with. But that compass felt like lucid sickness, and his dick didn't want anything. Although, his mind wanted something - and that was to talk to Andrian again.
"Not getting into guaio, my light?" She asked, worry lacing her tone as usual. His Mother cared so much about him even now. He chuckled into the phone, speeding up a little down what was clearly a quiet neighborhood. It was actually Dickens street - of course Giuseppe knew, he was very comfortably known with Dicken's sister.
"I'm not getting into trouble, Ma." He laughed, easing into his seat. Sure he had been actively seeking out Andrian - but she wasn't where he could find. He wouldn't mind getting into trouble with her, though. But as soon as those words left his mouth, the blaring blue and red flooded his vision. The grin fell from his face as he heard the crying from the police siren.
"Giuseppe what is that?" She demanded from the other side of the phone. Gulping, Giuseppe didn't answer her, instead he pulled over.
"Sorry Ma - I forgot you can't use your phone while driving." Giuseppe cringed, knowing he was in deep trouble. With both the law and his Mother.
"Cucciolo I am at witsend with you." She huffed through the phone as Giuseppe continued to drive. "Pull over boy." She ordered, knowing he did exactly as she said. He pulled the car over, unfortunately while still on the phone to his Mother. He relied heavily on her help - to not do the wrong thing. "Cooperate and go to the station with them, I'll come get you from there." He hung up on her, panic racing through him.
Tightening his grip on the steering wheel, he could feel a layer of cold sweat gleam across his body. He could see the officer walk towards his driver side window, the headlights almost blinding him. He wound down the window and gave the officer a charming smile.
"Deputy Morgan, we got you someone to babysit." The Officer that brought Giuseppe in said to a woman with her hair slickes into a bun. Giuseppe was shoved into the chair facing hers. Slouching in his chair he stared at the ground. It would take a while for his Mother to get here.
"It seems you have a bit of a record here, Giuseppe." Deputy Morgan hummed, riffling through his record. Scoffing, he simply folded his arms over his chest, grinning. "You can clean it all up, it's never too late." She sighed, causing Giuseppe to eye roll. Clearly seeing she wasn't reaching him, she tried another tactic. "I have a daughter your age..." his eyes flashed up to see Deputy Morgans face. His jaw drop, seeing the older woman staring at the picture on her desk. A family photo of Andrian, her Father and Mother hugging.
"You're Andy's Mum." He said in disbelief, his posture straightening. He could have barked out a laugh, the coincidence of it all. He had been caught up thinking about the girl, and now he had bumped into her Mother. The rushed conversation between getting her clothes off, Andrian had mentioned her Mother.
Deputy Morgan stared at him with a skeptical look. "Andy?" She said sharply, obviously letting her feelings worm its way into their conversation. "She and I don't look that much alike, kid." She chuckled, guiding her attention back to her work. "How do you know Andrian?"
Memories he couldn't get out of his head resurfaced. His face flustered at the thought of the intimate things he had done with the Deputy Sheriff's daughter. She seemed to have noticed his shyness.
"School." He answered cooly, his eyes going to the family photo. Andrian didn't mention a Father - but word around the school was he skipped town not to long ago. But it didn't seem to faze Andrian enough for him to notice an emotional shift. His own Father had done the same - months before he was born, though. No one to really get attached to.
"So you know about that Sam boy, I heard he is a spoilt brat." Her words earned a bright grin on the young boys face.
"You're telling me." He agreed.
"You don't like him?" She asked, ignoring her work to talk to him.
"He's an asshole, privileged and - " Andrians words swirled through his mind. "And a bully." He repeated, smiling as he stared out into the station. "Andrian deserves better."
"You bet." She smiled. "I have to order her dinner, do you know what Pizza she likes?" Morgan didn't look up from her cell phone, typing the local Pizza places number in.
The breakfast he shared with Andrian surfaced in his mind. They had breached on so many things and he could never forget. Didn't want to forget. "Meatlovers, she's a meatlovers kind of girl."
