Andrew and Amanda sat together at the cafe. Amanda asked, "So what did we just see at the dance last night?"
He asked with a raised eyebrow, "What did we see?"
"Some weird thing called Nephilim. I swear this weird coronavirus has turned humanity into whatever they are now!"
"You're sure? I mean, I look fine, and so does my Aly."
Amanda narrowed her eyes at him. "What do you mean?"
Andrew leaned forward, and said, "I'm married to Aly, and we got kids!"
Her eyes widened at the news. Well, part of her shouldn't be surprised, yet she was. Then again, how did he know this?
She asked, "How did you find out?"
He replied, "Cora let me borrow her fancy-ass futuristic phone. I went on this social media program that has nothing but photos and videos. I saw my profile. We both look hot!"
Amanda blinked. She was curious to see what her life was like as a grown woman. Andrew added, "I asked that Sapphire woman to get me one of those phones, but she said. Supposedly there's some rift in time or something? Sounds like one of your British doctor shows."
"Doctor Who, Andrew," she said flatly.
"Does your Alex like that show?"
"He doesn't watch it."
Andrew nodded his head. Amanda asked, "Is there a way you could get that phone for us?"
"Maybe," he looked away. Amanda saw he was eying that guy he danced with.
She asked, "You think your new boyfriend might have one?"
He smirked, "Why not? Besides, he's not my boyfriend, though he is definitely boyfriend material."
"You have such weird taste in men."
Andrew grinned, "Don't we all?"
Amanda rolled her eyes, though she secretly agreed with him.

Andrew walked up to Michael. He sat in front of him, and said, "Hey, cutie."
Michael blushed, which turned Andrew on. The guy asked, "You think I'm cute?"
"Don't think you're not."
"He clearly wants something," Andrew heard another guy say. He saw that strangely pretty guy standing over them.
Andrew asked, "So Nikki..."
"It's Nikolai."
"Whatever. I heard you're all magical and shit. Can you produce me a fancy-ass phone with all those programs on it? I need to contact adult me."
"Why?"
"Why not? I wanna know how I got so hot!"
Andrew noticed Michael and Nikolai looking at each other. Andrew took out his wallet, pulling out one of his credit cards. He said, "I'll pay you 100 US dollars. I'm pretty sure America is still a thing in 2020."
He watched Nikolai narrow his eyes at him. Andrew added, "How about this: I'll take you out to a dinner date, and you summon a fancy-ass phone for me!"
Nikolai asked, "I thought you want Michael?"
"I do, but I need that phone."
"I'll summon you that phone," he grumbled.
Andrew grinned as he faced Michael. He asked, "Michael, wanna go on the dinner date?"
>>>>>>>>>>
Andrew walked with Michael to their rooms. The date was quiet and calm, no drama, no strange-looking creatures. He asked, "Can I give you a kiss?"
Michael blushed, "Yeah, go ahead."
He kissed his lips gently. It felt light on Michael's part, and he loved every second of it.
"See you tomorrow?" he asked.
"Yeah," Michael smiled.
Andrew gently kissed his cheek, then turned towards his room. He saw Nikolai standing there, holding what seemed to be one of those modern phones.
"You got it?" he asked.
"Yes, I did," Nikolai reluctantly said. "I had to get it from some teenager. He's famous for being on this thing called TikTok."
"I don't know what that is, but I'll find out."
Andrew took the phone, and walked inside his room. Amanda wasn't in the room, so he got to be alone. He looked for that app that Cora showed him. He remembered it had colorful camera lenses as the logo. He found it, tapped on the screen. He saw the account was run by some guy who had the fluffiest hair he had ever seen, almost like he came from the 90s.
He searched for his own account, saw an update of his grown man self announcing he was releasing an EDM EP on what he assumed was an online music store called Spotify. Clearly wanted to give his fans some new material during a pandemic, also needing to make that coin. Andrew made a note to check it out when it gets released, which he checked it had been out a few days now.
No, his own new music will have to wait. He looked for an option to direct message his older self. He did, feeling scared to talk to him. Andrew bit his lip. He had numerous questions, and that man held the answers.
He took a deep breath, and wrote his message:
Andrew, I'm borrowing this guy's phone. Don't ask how or why. Just hear me out. I am you from 2006, when we were seventeen. I have questions, and you have answers. Please respond ASAP.
Andrew sat on his bed, feeling his hands shaking. He wasn't sure if what he did was the stupidest thing he had ever done. Maybe he let curiosity get the best of him. He wasn't even sure if he scared off the man. Or maybe he was too busy trying to raise his three kids with Alyson.
He felt the phone buzz. He saw his older self had DM'ed him back! He read the response:
What the actual fuck?!
