---For starters, Here's Emily Hawkins' appearance---

The current setting is Littleroot town, 2 years after the previous chapter's events. Emma is currently living in he4 cousin May's house. Her cousin was out and about, so Emma's aunt let her stay with her until She was what the acadamy called "Confirmed", meaning you go to a region to start your journey and if the council accepts, you can begin your quest. Emma had been waiting for so long. Sure, Jordan visited at least 3 to 4 times a week, and those days were the highlights of her summer. Her crush on the Acadamy's best battler in history had only multiplied, especially since they've been on a number of, what Emma considered, to be dates, although it was clear that Jordan had no idea Emma felt this way about him. We pick up with Emma reading her diary, holding Braxton, who keeps biting the pages when Emma wrote about having a bad day.

"*sigh* this one was from the time Jordan showed me a secret lake." She pointed to a picture she taped into.her diary. Braxton pointed at her blue carpet in her room and jumped down onto it. "Gible Gib?"

"Of course he fell in! Its Jordan we're talking about." Emma laughed at the memory.

*a month earlier...*

Jordan had just taken the photo for her diary when he took his shirt off, revealling his athletic build, which also made Emma's face turn tomato red.

"You need more sunscreen? Your face seems a bit burnt..." he was all smiles at this time. He was high on happiness and nothing could bring this guy down... but hey, that's why she fell for him.

Speaking of falling...

Jordan tried meditating like a Medicham on the edge of a rock, only to lose his balance as the picture was taken, and he fell about a fee feet and into the water. He was perfectly fine, and he still didn't stop smiling. "Hey, I think i saw a feebas down there!" He joked. He knew Emma's favorite pokemon of all time was Milotic, because she told him that a few days prior. Emma looked over the dock, trying to see it, when Jordan's arm grabbed hers and pulled her into the cool lakewater. Now she wasn't too amused at first, but the perfect temperature of the water somehow made her anger go away.

"I love this spot because... well, it's kinda like a natural chill zone. Even the Sharpedo in this lake are Friendly!" He made another joke, but Emma instinctively grabbed onto him. "S-Shark?!" She paniced.

"Oh right." Jordan remembered. "She's kinda got a fear of Shark pokemon... wait, then how does she own a Gible...? I guess it's only sharks that actually swim..."

End flashback

There was a knock on the door. Emma opened it to see, who else, Jordan Gold. "Hey, Acadamy told me to deliver this to ya." He handed her an envelope. She opened it and it was titled "Letter of Confirmation". She was allowed to start her journey... but the date written on the letter was a whole month before the current day."Why was this supposed to be here a month ago?" She asked with a smile.

"You had no address, so i told them I'd give it to you... then you weren't home one day and Braxton ate it, so i got a new copy of it." He scratched the back of his head. "Please don't be mad..."

Emma smiled and looked at the sleeping Gible on the couch. "Seems like him alright. So when can we start?"

Jordan leaned on the doorway. "Whenever we get a starter pokemon from Professer Birch. You ready for the adventure of a lifetime?"

Emma turned and began getting her stuff together. Not just because she was eager to leave, but she was also blushing from the way Jordan said it... "Dammit, why is he so dreamy?" She thought while she gathered her stuff. Braxton sensed her excitement and licked her arm.

She looked at her Gible and smiled. "What? Of course, You're coming along... or is it something else?"

The Gible glanced at the doorway and back at his trainer. Emma immediatly blushed a dark red.

Jordan sent out Rico. "Help her pack up, will ya, buddy?"

"Ri-o!" Rico gave him a one-paw salute and ran in to help her out.

*after about 10 minutes...*

"Alright, I'm ready..." Emma walked out her door, with her stuff ready to go. (Just Basic stuff a trainer takes along)

The two headed to Professor Birch's lab. When they went in, they found the Professor and 3 pokeballs.

"I'm sure you two know how this works, since you studied for this moment." Birch said with a smile.

"Ladies first." Jordan smiled and nudged her forward.

Emma tripped forward and knocked over a pokeball, releasing a Torchic.

"Oops. Is... that what you want? Because if not..." Birch began.

"N-no... I'll take it." Emma picked it up and smiled.

Jordan almost immediatly grabbed the Pokeball to the right of the Torchic, releasing a Mudkip.  "I'll take this guy." He said with a grin.

*an hour later, In Petalburg town*

"So, what do we do now?" Emma surveyed the town. "I don't really know. I guess we could find a place to stay... or camp out. Rico and i can gather stuff..." Jordan started.

"Or I could just buy some." Emma blurted. Jordan paused, confused by what she said.

"My family was rich... and recently, I got a lot of money after..." She began choking up.

"We can Talk about this later. Let's just find someplace to spend the night. And by the way, If you ever need a shoulder to cry on, that's what friends are for." Jordan lightly nudged her again.

Emma blushed, now seeing a newer inn that had been built 3 years prior.

Jordan followed her gaze. "So our choices are Campout under a night sky, or Newer Hotel, complete with hot tub... I'm down for either."

Emma thought about it. "How about we..."

Anyways... i hope you don't care that this was too short... I don't really have the time to write what happens on each route, or it may get repetitive. Thus, I'll do a section called "While we were Away..." before the chapter to summarize what happened "Off-Screen". *ALSO YOU CAN INSERT YOUR OC FOR JORDAN/EMMA, JUST TELL ME. YOU CAN CHOOSE EITHER, BECAUSE EMMA IS BI AND JORDAN IS STRAIGHT.
