Waking up and getting up from your warm cosy bed is like the worst part of every morning, but Monday's morning just hits different.

I seriously think that Monday should be optional or there should be a day between Sunday and Monday.

Ignoring the morning laziness, I get up for school.

Getting ready lazily, I made my way downstairs with half-closed eyes.

"Morning, lazy girl," My Mumma says, already well aware of my Monday morning mood.

"Mumma, I am not lazy. I am just saving my energy for future use."

"I still don't understand how you come with such remarks while half asleep."

"It is a talent, Mumma."

"Hello, angel," Dad greets, coming to the kitchen.

"Hello, Dad," I greet him back, my mood already lifting.

"Ready for school?"

"Yes."

"Great."

Soon, I finish my breakfast and make my way outside, waiting for the school bus.

"And that is it for today's lecture. You guys can consider this period as a free. But remember if you make noise, I will start the next chapter today only," saying this, our Economics sir sits on his chair, one big eco books in his hand.

"I am off to sleeping," Aarav tells, putting his head in between his hand on the bench.

Aditiya rolls his eyes at his antics and moves towards Sara.

"Sara, explain me this," he points to one of the paragraphs.

"Sure." Sara and Adi move to one of the spare benches behind us.

"Hey, I don't understand it too. I am joining you two," saying this, Misha also joins them.

"Can I come to sit beside you?" Jay asks me as I was sitting alone on the bench.

I nod and smile at him.

We both randomly talk for a while.

"How was school?" Jay asked me, referring to my past school.

"Well, it was okayish. Like, I don't have any close friends there. I was a good student, taking studies seriously and all."

"Oh. Do you like it here in this school?"

"Of course, Yes. With you guys, it has been amazing here. As I have said that I don't have any close friend, I was beyond thrilled to be your friend."

"I am glad about that."

I smile at him, which he returns.

"I have heard that mine and your's mother is bonding well," Jay tells me with a smile.

"Yeah. Mumma was speaking at the dinner yesterday that how Jhanvi aunty is going to be her best friend."

"Same. My father was happy that she is interacting with others as she is always at home taking care of us."

"Mumma is the same. She talks with our neighbours but doesn't feel comfortable with them. So she is ecstatic that finally, she is going to get someone to gossip."

He laughs at my gossip comment but agrees nonetheless.

We both talk and laugh a lot till the bell ring signalling for the next lecture. We all sat our respected places.

"Goooood Moorrnnniiinnng Teeaachhher," we all stood up when our BA (OC) teacher come into class.

The teacher shakes her head at our antics.

"Good Morning. Sit down."

"Ok guys before we all proceed to the next chapter. I want to give you guys a project," She tells and takes out her laptop to give more information about the project.

"You guys have to make a PowerPoint presentation taking a particular company. You have to show how it formed, when it formed, its sales, production cost, profit and loss, and its final accounts. But, the company should be of India."

"There will be 20 groups. That means, two students, will be in one group."

"You guys have to notify me of the company that you pick to avoid any problems."

"Am I clear?"

We all nod at her.

"At the end of this lecture, I will make the group."

She gives more information regarding the project.

"Ok, the groups are Misha and Aarav, Riya and Priyank, Susan and Myra, Raghav and Amay ... Kiara and Jay, Sara and Aditya. You can make your plans in my next lecture."

I give Jay a smile which he returns.

"Hi-fi partner. We are going to enjoy so much," He puts his hand forward, asking for a hi-fi.

I give him a hi-fi, "Of course, we are, Partner."

"Jay, Kiara, please make your plans afterwards," Mam says, hiding her smile making us realize that we have spoken that a too loudly and whole class has heard that.

I look down, and I think Jay did too from behind me.

Talk about embarrassment.

The four others are silently laughing at our expense.

Soon, the lunch roll on, and we all are sitting at our usual table after finishing lunch.

"Haha. That was hilarious," Misha speaks, laughing at Jay and me.

"Yeah, I feel so embarrassed for you guys," Sara says, silently laughing. Aditya and Aarav are also laughing.

"Come on, it was not that funny," I tell them and just then, the bell rings signalling the end of our break.

"Let all others move out then we will go," Jay tells to which we all nod.

After everyone moves out, we all get up to get to class.

We were all walking, suddenly my leg slip and I fall.

This time too, I fall on the floor.

Jay and Sara help me to stand. While the other three are laughing loudly.

Talk about embarrassment for the second time in one day. At least this time the whole class was not there. After they all overcome their laughter, we all start walking back.

Jay is walking beside me while our friends are ahead of us.

"You love the floor, don't you?" Jay asks me, reminding me of the time I fall into his room.

"Well, what can I say, we both love each other from a very long time. We both need hugs from each other, time to time."

Jay laughs out loud at that, making our friends turn and raise their eyebrows.

We both shake our head. Now, Now we don't want them to know about my relationship with the floor, Now do we?
