In the morning, Animal wakes up and waits in front of both Row’s and Floyd’s room. Floyd comes out of his room in pajamas. Floyd looks a little shocked when he sees Animal. Floyd wakes up first, then last is Animal or Zoot.

“Couldn’t sleep, Animal?” Floyd yawns.

Animal nods.

“Same here, bud” he says, petting Animals head.

Row comes out of her room and Animal hugs her happily and Row hugs back.

Soon, everyone was chilling, with Animal looking out the window. Animal occasionally says, “Ooh! Plane!” or “Ooh! Birdie!” . Then Animal sighs sadly.

“What's wrong bud?” Floyd asks as Animal shrugs.

“I heard about this new ice cream place that's within walking distance,” Zoot mumbles.

“I’m down.” Janice says. Everyone else nods in agreement.

They all walk and talk. Animal is skipping happily next to Row. Zoot looks at Scarlet and asks Scarlet her favorite ice cream flavor. “ ‘I love cookie dough flavored ice cream,’ “ Scooter and Floyd say at the same time.

The two boys look at eachother. Everyone else, but Animal who’s distracted by a butterfly, growling, gets nervous and braces for a fight between the two. Instead, Floyd and Scooter laugh. “Okay, that earned you some brownie points,” Floyd chuckles.
   
Then they got there. Zoot pays. Scooter got the same flavor as Scarlet; that’s his favorite flavor as well, which is cookie dough. Janice and Floyd got dairy-free ice cream. The others ordered.

Right now, Floyd is telling a story as they ate their ice cream. “...And then the leader pushed down Scarlet, while the other two men held me back. Scarlet looked mmmmaaaadddd! She used her upper body strength to use her legs and kick at the leader's face. The other two fled with the leader, the leader had a bloody nose,” he finishes.

“I’mma make a mental note to not make her mad,” Scooter says as he scoots away from Scarlet playfully.

She responds by pulling him close and putting her head on his shoulder. He sighs and puts his head on hers.
