It's been a few days since Scooters birthday. Both Scarlet and Scooter were cuddling on the couch, at Scooter's place, when Scooter's phone rang.

It's currently 8 Scarlet thought looking at the time.

He picks the phone up, "Hello? " He asks into the phone.

There was a pause, "Oh hey Floyd, what's up? " he asks.

Yet another pause, Scooter nods, "Yeah sure I'll ask her, " he quickly takes the phone away from his ear, "Floyd and Janice were wondering if me and you would mind going on a double date with them around 5:30pm today, " he says.

Scarlet nods.

Scooter puts the phone back to his ear, "Yeah sure," he says.

There's a pause again, "Yeah sure, see you man," Scooter says and then puts the phone down and goes back to cuddling his girl.

"He said to dress nice, " Scooter says.

Scarlet smiles "Glad my brothers taking you in!"

Scooter nods.

Later Scarlet leaves around 3:30pm to get ready. She changes into a sparkly yellow dress with white stockings and black dress shoes. Along with white gloves. She redoes her makeup to make it look like a sunset on her eye and she smiles.

She does this sunset pink lipstick for her lips and shows her hearts on her cheeks today.

She puts her down and straightens it. The she puts it in a ponytail and she smiles.

Then someone knocks on the door around 4:30.

She answers the door.

It's just Scooter wearing something nice.

She smiles, "Hey Scooter!"

"Hey, I had a question for the beautiful lady, " he says.

She giggles as she nods.

"Mind if I take you to the restaurant?" He asks.

She nods as Scooter offers his hand to her. She takes it.

TIME SKIP TO THE DATE FROM YOUR LAZY AUTHOR

Floyd waves at the two when he sees them. Scarlet and Scooter go over.

"I hope root beer with no ice hope that's okay for you both" Floyd smiles.

Scooter looks so confused, "How did you-''

"Maybe a little birdie named Scarlet told me," Floyd chuckles.

Scarlet blushes in embarrassment.

Janice goes to them she's wearing a silky red dress and her usual makeup, "Like, hi both of you!" She pauses and looks at Scarlet, "Like, I love your makeup, fer sure! " she says.

"Thank you! " Scarlet says.

Janice nods as Floyd smiles, "I'm glad both you and Janice are getting along! " Floyd says happily.

The girls smile and sit down, their lovers sit next to them.

Soon the waitress comes, "I'm Brooke and I'll be taking care of you today. Would you like anything to eat?"

"A salad, please" Janice says.

"What she's having, " Floyd says.

"Mac and Cheese!" Scarlet chirps.

"A cheese burger, no tomato," Scooter says.

The waitress writes it all down, "All right, " she leaves.

Soon, the waitress brings back the food they ordered. Everyone thanks her. After that, Brooke leaves.

They all start eating.

Once their done they all make small talk and laugh about a memory or how clumsy Floyd can be and how his sister got it from him.

Floyd and Scooter are getting along and so is Janice and Scarlet.

"So, like, how long have you been playing violin?" Janice asks Scarlet.

"Since I was 4," Scarlet replies.

"And how far apart are you and Floyd?" Janice asks.

"4 years," Scarlet says.

Janice nods, "Like, not bad,"

Scarlet smiles.

Soon, they say good bye and leave and go home.
