Spiderwoman: The Goddess's Spider; Part 2
It's been twelve hours since the attack, Gabriella was now in the airport back in New York, America. As she was being checked over again by medical professionals, she saw her dad. She got up, even when the medics were protesting, she ran to him.
"DAD!" she yelled as she sprinted to him.
"Holy hell..." he muttered and ran to her. They both met each other in the middle and hugged. She then teared up, "I didn't- I- Mom is-" she didn't know what to say.
"Hey, it's ok, you're home and you're safe now," reassured her father.
Then a man in a suit approached them, "Mr. Miguel O'Hara?" one of them called.
Miguel turned and answered, "Yes, that's me. How can I help you?"
He then introduces himself, "I'm Agent Phil Coulson, and I'm with Strategic, Homeland, Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division," and he gives Miguel his business card.
"That's a mouthful," commented Gabriella, her dad gave a scolding look, and she looked down.
"We've been approached already by other groups like the DOD, the FBI, the CIA," said Miguel.
"We're a separate division with a more specific focus, we need to debrief Ms. O'Hara of the circumstances of her escape," explained Agent Coulson.
Miguel sighed and then said, "Ok, we'll talk about that, after my daughter gets some rest."
Gabriella could only think, "How am I supposed to explain about what happened?!" She then noticed a bit of wind pick up, and she looked and saw Neith, the goddess said, "Don't worry, I have a perfect alibi for you."
The two men agreed that they would have a meeting tomorrow, to talk about her escape. Sometime later the family of now two were escorted back to their home. It was a quiet ride, no one said a word.
When they got home, Miguel tiredly took of his shoes and went to the living room.
"Dad?" called Gabriella. He looked at her and asked, "What's wrong?"
"What's going to happen now?" wondered his daughter.
"Nothing's going to happen, we're just going to have a talk with some serious people and then we'll stay home for a while, ok?" answered Miguel.
Gabriella says, "Ok," then she went to her room. She sat down on her bed, taking in the familiar scent of her home. A few hours passed and the goddess appeared before her once more.
"What is it?" asked the teen.
"I think it's time to test out your new powers and to test yourself, since you are my avatar," answered Neith.
"Avatar?" questioned Gabriella, totally not thinking of the blue people or the show.
"Yes, being my avatar, is essentially when you represent me," answered Neith.
"Ok then... But how am I going to test myself out? I can't just go out the front door because I've been put on watch for protection," asked Gabriella.
The goddess sighed and said, "Remember back at the temple, you can simply climb out the window and swing to the city."
The said teen looked down at her hands and then walked over to her window. She quietly opened and quietly repeated her mantra, "Don't fall, don't fall, don't fall."
She then put her hand on the wall outside her window and slowly climbed out. She expected herself to fall, but what shocked her was that her hands were sticking to the wall, like a spider would. She willed on her suit and climbed up the building.
"Woah..." said Gabriella in amazement.
The goddess laughs in amusement to her childness and said "Yes, woah, now swing to the city."
"What?" asked the teen "How do that?" Neith sighed again and showed her hand motions on how to web.
She did the same motion and to her surprise, a long strand of web came out of her suit. "Huh, would you look at that," said the goddess sarcastically.

Gabriella rolled her eyes and climbed to the top of the building she was on, overlooking the entirety of New York. She got a bit scared and backed up a little.
"Ok, you're fine, no need to panic, you're just a couple hundred feet from the ground, on top of a skyscraper," said Gabriella to herself.
"You can do it, my Spider, all it takes is a leap of faith," encouraged Neith.
The soon-to-be-hero took a deep breath and leapt off the roof. She is now free falling and as she felt the wind rushed past her, she instinctively used her webs and swung across the city. As she swung, she did different kind of tricks.
She backflipped into the air, she ran with cars, and she ran across the train. Trying new things and experimenting with some moves.
"WHOO!" whooped the teen as she went across the city night. She felt a huge adrenaline rush. She didn't stop there, she slingshot herself as high as she could. She pulled out her phone and took a quick selfie with it.

Until something caught her eye, she someone familiar. She halted her swinging and went closer to the person.
She recognized him, "That guy... that's one of those mercenaries who attacked our site," told Gabriella to Neith.
"Yes... I recognize him too..." agreed Neith and then suggested, "Follow him, see where he will lead us, but keep your distance." Gabriella nodded and landed on a wall behind the man, and she crawled after him.
She then heard his voice and someone else's, "So, when are they going to move the shipment out?" one asked.
"They say that they're going to move out this weekend, Saturday," reveals the other.
"I still don't get it, what did ANTON need from that dig site back in Egypt so badly that he ordered us to kill everyone there?" questioned the same voice.
"Don't know, but it's best not to question him, you know what he did to the last guy who did," said the other with a slight shiver in his voice.
"Anyways, the meeting, tomorrow, will be at that warehouse that holds the trains," revealed the same voice and the other said "Right." And the two men walked away.
"Meeting? Trains? Anton? Seems very good information" said Neith, Gabriella agreed "Right."
She then swings back to her apartment and crawled through the window quietly.
She pulled out an empty notebook and wrote down her findings, and Neith was in the room as well. "Ok, so here's what we know: there's going to be a meeting tomorrow at a warehouse that holds trains, I think I might know where it is, the question is will the boss, most likely Anton, be there?" wonders Gabriella out loud.
"Maybe, but we should also worry about that meeting with that Agent, we can't afford for the government to be suspicious of you," said Neith.
"Right, it's the timing we need to concern, hopefully that meeting with the Agent will go quick," agreed Gabriella.
Neith agreed with her, and she left for the night. Gabriella went to bed as her mind wondered off to the recent events that had happened.
It was the next day, at 10:00 A.M., and Gabriella and her dad went to that meeting. They went into some sort of headquarters and went to the front desk and spoke to the woman who is there.
"Hi," greeted Miguel.
"Hi, how can I help you?" asked the desk lady.
"We have a meeting appointment with Agent Phil Coulson, said we could meet him here," answered Miguel. As they were having their exchange, Gabriella was shuffling her feet nervously. As the desk lady was looking over her computer, they heard the agent's voice, "You're right on time, Mr. O'Hara."
The two men shook hands and the agent said, "Let's go to my office and we'll talk there."
"Lead the way," said the teen jokingly and her dad looked at her with amusment and so did the agent.
They went into the office and the meeting started,
"So, Ms. O'Hara, what was the first thing that happened?" asked Phil
"I remember my mom waking me up and told me that we had to run," answered Gabriella and Phil nodded his head, telling her to go on. "Then, I remember that there were gunshots, people were screaming."
Phil was writing down some notes, she continued, "Then as I was running, I heard someone say something about a boss."
Phil stopped writing, and he asked, "Did they say anything about this boss?"
"I overheard from one of them that they're going to be in a city after the raid, that's all I heard," answered Gabriella, repeating what Neith was saying. The agent put down his notepad and said, "Thank you for your time, Ms. O'Hara."
"Have a good day," said Miguel, as the two were leaving. The two drove back to their apartment and as she went to her room, her father asked, "How are you feeling right now?"
"Great, couldn't be better," she answered sarcastically, and her father looked at her sternly, his eyes telling her to tell him the truth. "I-I don't know what to feel, dad. I'm just going to go to my room," she said and left.
He sighed and muttered, "What am I going to do."
In her room, she willed her suit on and climbed out of her window. With her instincts, she immediately webbed up to the top of her building and swings to the warehouse. She makes it to the warehouse that knows about and crawled inside from another window.
"Ok, Gabby, you made it this far..." she mumbled to herself. She then overheard some voices and with her judgement, she followed the source of the sounds. As she got closer, she saw on the main floor, seven men. They looked like they were waiting for something or someone.
"It seems to be that we are just on time," commented Neith and the teen nods.
Then she hears a far deeper voice, "Is this everyone?"
"Yes sir," one of them answers and the bad guy meeting started, that's how she titles it.
"So, here's what's going to happen, in two days, there'll be a big event at Stark Industries. They'll be showing some new tech stuff, but we're not after that. It's been confirmed that there will be some weapons," explained the man with a huge scar. The rest of the group nod their heads.
"But it seems we have a bit of a nuisance," said the man darkly.
"What is it Mr. Anton?" asked one of the others, and Gabriella thought, "Bingo! That's Anton, the one responsible for the raid!"
"We seem to have a bit of a spider problem," answered Anton, confusing the others and he continues, "When the recon squad came back from their patrol back in Egypt, they found everyone their either taken down or killed." This alarmed the others.
"The noticeable thing they found was that the entire place was covered in webs," finalized Anton. Gabriella got very uncomfortable, knowing that they might be aware of her existence.
"So, what do we do then?" asked someone else, Anton answered, "We squash that bug, when we see him."
"HIM?!" thought Gabriella a little ticked off that they assumed that she was a guy.
"Anyways, once we get the weapons, we'll tear this city down," smiled Anton, maliciously.
The spider hero's eyes widen at the threat, then all of a sudden, her phone rings. "Shit!" thought Gabriella. She pulled out her phone and saw it was her dad. She quickly answered, "Dad, this is a bad time for me, I'll call you back," and she hung up.
"Someone's here..." muttered Anton, then ordered, "Find whoever that was and kill them." The henchmen listen and start hunting for her.
"Crap, crap, crap..." mumbled Gabriella, while Neith commented, "You can take them on you know."
"They have guns!" she whispers yelled at the goddess, and Neith says, "Oh right, I forgot tell you the suit can heal you, so you won't get killed."
"And now you're telling-" as she was retorting to the goddess, a bullet grazed her.
"You better come out now!" one of the men demanded. She obliged only for a moment to web up some the guys and then they rained fire at her.
She quickly hid behind a crate, raised her hands, and spoke up, "Wait! Wait! You're probably wondering why the red on my suit? It's so that bad guys can't see me bleed!" quips the teen. This confuses the men as they wonder why she was telling them.
Then she pointed at the one who was wearing brown pants, "This guy got the right idea, he wore the brown pants!" This comment made the guy a little pissed off and fired some bullets at her hands.
"Ok! I think I stalled enough, let's end this...," said Gabriella. She then swung above the guys and dove down on them. Knocking the first one down with a kick, then she shoots a web at another guy and pulls him closer and punches him in the face. Then she pulled out a spider dagger from her chest piece and threw at the one who was charging at her.
After the brawl, all seven were taken down. She noticed one of them was still conscious, so she approached him.
"Where did Anton go?" she interrogated him.
"I'm not telling you anything, bitch," said the man, trying to be tough.
"So, we'll do it the hard way, huh?" said hero and then sliced his leg with her dagger, made sure that the wound is not deep enough for him to die.
He screamed out and said, "OK! Ok... He's going to Stark Industries in two days to meet with a couple of sellers."
"If you ever see him or anyone else like you, tell them, Spiderwoman will come for them all..." said the teen and left.
"Spiderwoman, huh?" asked Neith in curiosity.
"Well, I had to call myself someone, besides it sounded right to me," answered Gabriella.
The goddess slightly chuckles and agrees, "Yes, it does suit you, my young spider."
She swung herself home and made sure to will off the suit before she went through her window. It was now 5:00 P.M. and there was knock at her bedroom door, "Gabby?" it was her father, "We need to talk."
"Oh, crap," muttered Gabriella and Neith said "You should go to avoid any suspicions." She nodded and opened her door.
"What is it dad?" she asked.
"Where have you been? I called you and then you tell me that it was a bad time and then I look in your room, you were missing," her dad interogated.
"I was out," she said bluntly.
"Out? Out where? You know the police said you can't go anywhere by yourself right now after what happened," said her dad.
"I know that! I just, I just wh- I don't know what you want me to say but I can't just stay here and be all locked up," she argued.
"You're not locked up, it's just for safety," said her dad calmly.
She sighed and didn't know what else to say, then her dad said, "Ok, then here's the deal then, you can go out as long as you check in with me every thirty minutes, whether it would be by text or a call. If you don't, then you'll be staying here until the police says you're in the clear."
"I can take that," she says without hesitation. After their talk they had dinner and she went to bed. But she didn't go to sleep, she put on her suit and left her apartment, went to the top of the building and asked Neith, "How am I supposed to wait two days for Anton?"
"You can always take out those small time criminals for now, you know, for practice," Neith suggested. Gabriella nodded at that suggestion, so she went on her own patrol around the city.
Then as she was swinging, she heard a scream and a man's voice yelled, "Give me your purse!"
Gabriella swings down to the source and saw that it was a man holding a young woman at knife point. She acted quickly by shooting a web at the hand that held the knife and then struck the criminal down.
"Are you ok, ma'am?" asked the teen. The woman nods and says, "Yes, I am, thank you so much!"
The hero nods and walks away from the scene and says, "Call the police..." The woman pulls out her phone, but then asks the hero, "Who are you?"
The teen turns and introduces herself, "I'm Spiderwoman," and swings away, leaving the woman alone with the knocked-out mugger.
