Survival of The Agile
There was a part of you that wished you would keep your overconfident thoughts to yourself. Like sometimes that whole thing about your mouth getting you in trouble was true. Your thinking process was interrupted as a violent strike caught you in the jaw, sending you reeling as you were peppered in strikes, feeling the quick but powerful contact across your face and chest. You finally managed to stumble back into the ropes, feeling the blood pour from your nose as you wiped it on your wrappings, slowly watching the once stark white tape turn pink and red. Your breath came out in pants, the faint taste of iron slowly settling on your tongue as you watched Manseok close the distance once more, his unrestrained hand not even bruised from its assault upon your body.
Gang: Aww come on where is all that confidence from earlier?
Manseok teased, launching another strike at your battered face as your muscles seemingly reacted before your brain, quickly gripping onto the male's wrist and yanking. Gang, however, was expecting this, planting his foot firmly into the ring before throwing his head forward into a grueling headbutt that caught your left eye and nose. You let out a grunt as you grit your teeth and held back a yelp, instead using this compromising position, to extend your leg and sweep the unplanted leg of Gang's. He was less than prepared for this as you managed to trip him up, the male stumbling back as a burst of relief and anger flooded through you.
(Y/n): Oh I can show you where it is!
You barked out loudly, bringing up your own foot to stomp down on Gang's leg, your heel catching his shin just above his ankle. You felt a pop-under your heel though knew you didn't do much, just enough for Manseok to hop back and examine the bruise you had managed to land.
Gang: Lucky strike, too bad you're growling dull. All your talk was just that.
He responded, glaring you down as he easily unfurled his restrained arm, supposedly reaching his full potential as you finished cleaning yourself of the sweat pouring into your eyes. He opened your mouth to take a breath only to find Gang was gone. You blinked once before finding yourself in a kneeling position, a sharp pain in your shoulder as your arm was yanked back into an unnatural position.
(Y/n): Gah!
You yelped out for the first time this fight, feeling the pain course through your body.
Gang: See how easy that was? I bet it'll also be super easy to snap your arm like a twig!
(Y/n): G-GAAH!
You grit your teeth after yelping out once more, feeling Manseok twist your arm further and further in his sick little game. Your mind blanked out from the pain for a moment and once again it appeared your instincts took over as your right leg swung out and sped backward, your body turning against Gang's grip to relieve your shoulder while you tried to unseat Gang. Your calf contacted his shin and you found yourself hitting stone, his leg not even bulging.
Gang: Going for my shin again? You need to pick up some new tricks!
Gang called out with a laugh, twisting your arm even further as you felt a pop in your shoulder. You instantly grew tired of this game of his, not wanting to test how much your shoulder could twist in its socket. You took a quick breath and used Gang's leg as a catapult to throw your body's momentum in a circle, awkwardly using your other leg to catapult you upward, turning your body toward Gang. Manseok meanwhile seemed genuinely surprised as he watched your contort your exhausted body in a seemingly painful manner. Your glare caught his own gaze as your right knee came up to join your body, lightly tapping into his jaw before the full force and momentum ate into his cheek, his jaw moving violently to the side before the rest of his face as he finally released your arm and stumbled back in surprise. You took this moment to plop to the ground, awkwardly picking yourself up to sprint across the rings into the ropes.
(Y/n) in mind: Oh god I've pulled every muscle in my body I just know it!
You cried out mentally as the ropes ate your momentum and countered you, launching you in the opposite direction toward Gang. He finally managed to look up only to find a pair of shoes rushing at his face. A violent dropkick caught Manseok on the nose and left cheek, forcing his head back along with his body as the male toppled over the ropes behind him with a thud to the floor.
Announcer: Gang Manseok has been thrown out of the ring with a killer dropkick! Will he be able to make it back to the ring in time or is he out for good?!
You finally registered the announcer's voice as the noises of the stadium flooded into your ears. You picked up on the sound of cheers, your eyes lifting to look at the excited audience, your gaze landing on your parents and sister who looked equal parts concerned and exhilarated by your turnaround attack. You let out a gentle cough, finally letting the aches and pains settle in as you heard the time tick down for Gang t-
You felt a chill down your spine as you turned your head softly to the side and saw Gang, an almost evil aura surrounding him as he clamored back into the ring, his eyes trained on you with a deadly gaze.
(Y/n): Of course, he wants to fight more, nothing can be easy for me, huh? Well, bring it on then!
You lifted your hands and beckoned gang forward so you could throw him out of the ring for good this time. You didn't care what sort of lights show he had coming on his "comeback attack" but you weren't going to let that ridiculous "aura" of his deter you. Gang took a step forward, the ring shaking slightly as you tried to lift your arms and managed to sluggishly hold them in place. Gang took another step only for a hand to appear on his shoulder. In the next moment, you were genuinely amazed as you watched Jin Mori toss Gang aside with a single kick, launching the male into a nearby wall with ease. You had thought for a mere moment that you and he were on par but if you could barely handle Gang... just what level was this dude on? You asked this to yourself quietly as Mori looked over his shoulder and gave you a thumbs up before sliding through the ropes toward the crater in the wall he had made with Gang's body.
(Y/n): W-What the hell...
You quietly whispered as you trudged forward and gripped the ropes, watching suited individuals rush out to counter Mori and Gang while you wondered how you ended up in a Men in Black movie...
