My eyes opened and the first thing I saw was Barry. I couldn't explain why, but this time I knew it was him.

"I love you." I whispered.

"I love you too."

He lifted me up and soon his lips were upon mine. I closed my eyes as a smile came upon me, but it soon vanished; along with Barry.

I opened my eyes, and he was nowhere to be seen.

This was when I started looking around to where I was.

"Barry?"

I was in a room.

The vastness of it seemed to stretch on forever, but no windows or doors were to be seen in the white landscape. Light shone throughout the enclosure, but no lightsource was to be seen.

A figure appeared in the distance, or rather, the silhouette of a person. A shadow coming from nowhere.

It walked towards me, a slow melodic sort of movement, not making a single sound as it got closer and closer to me.

"She trapped you here too." Said a man's voice, deep and quiet.

"Not just me. There are hundreds of people there."

"She did that all for you."

"Who are you?" I inquired.

"Your father."

I paused and stared at the shadow before me. I had a father, "No, you're not. I have my family at home, how do I get out of here?"

"That is not your family, I am. And your mother is busy working."

"Who is my mother?" I didn't believe him at all, but I was strangely curious. What was happening? What sort of twisted situation was this?

"The one who has been working to get you here. She devised a trap to lure you in. She gave you everything you wanted. She brought friends for you. A place to explore. She gave you all she had."

He couldn't be talking about the witch. He just couldn't. Could he?

"But it seems you are not ready for it yet. I shall tell your mother that we need to do it again." He continued with a sigh.

"Do what?"

"I love you honey, you just need to learn to accept this."

The ground seemed to drop out from underneath me, and I let out a scream. Darkness enclosed me from all sides. I could barely tell what was up and what was down.

I seemed to fall for forever, and I sped up as I went. I saw ground come up beneath me, a white patch in the black. I was going to hit. I was going to die. There was no way for this to work out.

But I didn't hit.

I opened my eyes and saw blurry faces surrounding me. When they came into focus, I shuffled backwards, hitting a tree. I was surrounded by living gnomes. This was far too unreal.

"It's okay. Calm down, it's going to be fine." One of the creatures spoke gently.

I tried to hide, to just disappear from wherever this place was.

"What's your name?" He asked.

"Chloe," I whispered; what was my name? What happened to me? I couldn't remember anything.

"Well hi, Chloe, I'm Barry."
