Hajimes pov

I opened my eyes to find myself in a dark void. I stood up and looked around. Nothing.

"Hello" I called out to the nothingness "is anyone there?"

"I am" a childish voice ran out I turned around, my eyes widened in horror.

It was hiyokos charred body coming towards me. Flesh dripped off her face like a melted ice cream and her red scalp was exposed with only a few stray blonde hairs covering it.

"Why did you let me die hajime?" She reached out to me. I stumbled back only to land in Kazuichi's arms.

"You let us all die" he whispered in my ear, his open stomach wound leaking onto me.

"No I didn't-"

"But you did" Fuyuhiko's bullet filled body advanced towards me.

"You couldn't even be bothered to try and save me" gundams trampled body leaned over me.

"And you try and act like you're our saviour?" Sonia's mouth dripped with blood from the poison apple she was forced to eat "you make me laugh!"

"I'm sorry" I curled up in a ball as they advanced towards me "please stay back. Stay ba-"

"Hajime!" I was forced awake by kazuichi shaking me. It was just a dream "are you alright dude? You were screaming so loud I thought you were being murdered!"

I didn't answer. I just wrapped my arms around him, crying into his shoulder.

"Easy bud it's okay" he rocked me gently "it's natural to have nightmares after what just happened. I know I've had plenty of sleepless nights after what happened Sonia" he looked away sadly before giving me a comforting smile "How about I spend the night with you?"

"That would be nice" I wiped my tears away.

"Cool. I'll pack my things" he jumped up excitedly

"Your only spending one night here. Do you really need anything?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Come on dude it's my first sleepover. Don't kill my buzz" he pouted.

"Fine" I rolled my eyes fondly. I collapsed back on my bed as he ran off. This is taking more of a toll on me than I thought.
