(Mirayuki's point of view)

"Where's Zen! How is he!" Izana yelled when we got into the room. Finally we took in the scene, Remi was injecting Zen with some fluid. He looked pale and he was sweating a lot.

"What are you injecting him with?" Izana tried to grab Remi to stop her but I put myself between them.

"She's training to be a herbalist Zana, she's only helping him." I tried calming him down.

"Yes, it's an anti poison remedy your majesty. I believe poison had been put in his food or drink. Luckily it seems as he has built up a tolerance to this particular poison." She stated as she wrapped a bandage around the part of his arm where she injected the medicine.

"What your saying is crazy! There is no way anyone could've poisoned him in his castle!" Izana yelled in anger at her making her shrink in fear.

"IZANA HOTARU WISTERIA!" I take his hand roughly and throw him out of the room. I began to leave but popped my head in the room to tell Remi something.

"Don't push yourself to hard alright Rem? And don't worry about Zana he's just worried." I told her as my smile began to soften.

"Yuki don't worry I'm fine, I'm not sick anymore. You know that, and don't worry I didn't take anything he said to heart. He's just upset after all, now then go straighten out that Grump of a husband." She replied before waving me off. We both laughed as I exited the room to come face to face with a furious dem- I mean a furious husband.

"Why! Why did you throw me out here! Zen needs me Mira!" Izana began to yell at me and I sighed. Grabbing his hand I began to pull him towards our bedroom.

"MIRAYUKI VOLETO WISTER-"

"IZANA HOTARU-"

"MIRA-"

"SHUT UP YOU TWO!" We looked back to see Remi standing from Zen's room a few feet away.

"Go have your lover's quarrel somewhere else. Zen needs rest and if you wake him up I'll skin both of you alive and feed you to my horse. Got it?" She smiled a menacing smile and we both shivered before running back to our room.

"Zana..." I looked at him sadly when we entered and he sighed.

"Fine, I'll tell you why I'm so against Adoption... Mira it's not that I don't want to. But as you know our heir will either be the King or Queen of this kingdom. But that right only goes to a direct descendant." He began to explain and I knew what he was trying to say.

"You want to go on and produce a heir because you don't wanna have to explain to your adopted children why they could rule..." I finished off for him and smiled.

"Always thinking of everyone else, Zana. These two don't want to be a queen. They just want someone to love them. They are old enough to understand so please." Tears went down my porcelain white face hoping that he would say yes.

"Mira if I say yes to this-" I jumped into his arms, the tears turning into tears of joy. I hugged him while kiss his cheek.

"I love you so much Izana, thank you." I whispered in between kisses.

"I love you to Mira." He whispered back before adding, "This kinda reminds me of our wedding."

Flashback....

"Oh my gosh, Sis! There's so many people here... I don't know if I can do this Sis, Madam Coty, Remi." I asked them as I paced back and forth in my wedding dress. My hair and make up had just finished and my dad waited outside the curtains waiting for me to let him lead me down the isle.

"Dear, you love him don't you?" Madam Cory asked me and I automatically nodded.

"Yes I love him dearly but I don't think I'm cut out to be a queen Madam Coty." I replied in a sad voice, tears threatened to spill from my eyes.

"Yuki, You'll be the perfect Queen. I just know it." Remi replied with a bright smile while she tried to comfort me.

"Sis?" I turned towards her and she sighed before walking over a giving me a hug.

"You have two options Sis, you can go out there and marry the man you love or you can run away like a coward." She whispered in my ear and pulled away. "Just follow your heart Sis, it knows the way." She added before stepping away.

I felt crying right there as I felt the burden on me begin to crush me. I looked at them and smiled before saying several words that were going to change the course of my life.

"Tell Izana that I love him and that I'm sorry." I ran out of the back way of the tent and began running through the forest. But then I heard him...

"MIRA! MIRA PLEASE TALK TO ME!" Izana's voice rang throughout the forest.

'Thanks a lot Sis, did you expect him to run after me. You barely gave me any time to get away!' I mentally cursed as I began climbing a tree. Yes I was climbing a tree in wedding dress, not to mention I was running away from my wedding.

"Mira... why, why did you run? If you were felling so distressed then why didn't you talk to me. I love you so much don't you understand that. I would do anything for you and yet you didn't come to me." He leaned against the tree I was perched on. I looked down to see tears running down his face as he fell to the ground.

"If I can't live with you Mira... Then I just won't live at all... I don't care if I'm the King, I can't live without you. Mira." He drew his sword out while he shut his eyes as he prepared to die.

"Izana!" I yelled and jumped out of the tree. I knew he was smirking as I played right into his hands but even if it was fake... I would have never forgave myself if he had been serious.

Izana jumped up and caught me in his arms. The wind blew through our hair as we held each other. "I'm sorry Zana, I messed everything up. There was just so much pressure, I couldn't bare it." I cried into his shoulder as he held me.

"Don't worry Mira, I have you now. I'm not leaving you and I'm never letting go of you. We'll do it together. Mira."
