My heart skipped a beat when I counted the 49th picture...

All the pieces I had once placed together but tore apart all the same in my head had then glued themselves into their places, not to be separated again. The confusion and pain I feel is so hard to bear. I have too many questions, and not enough answers.

"A-are you sure... Are you SURE these are all of the pictures?? 100% sure?" I asked, trying not to show that I was deeply unhappy. "Yes, I'm sure. Everyone got their picture taken, and every student is in that folder." She replied. I hand her the folder and weakly walked to band, using the wall as support. I was so shocked to NOT have seen Girl's picture there. Is she coming here illegally, or something along the lines of that?? No... But that thought went away immediately. What? Well... Maybe she transferred over schools after we took school photos? No, Belle said she was here for that... No... what I'm thinking can't be true...

But unfortunately, it was inevitable. 

She does not exist.

She never did.

Sorry to all of you who read the last part and thought, Why is this guy going to P.E. in 7th period? Shouldn't he be ELA? Well, you are right. Except for the fact that at this school they are taking the assessments, so they go by a somewhat changed schedule due to the time the test takes. I forgot to explain that when it came up in the story.

Also, sorry for publishing such short chapters, but I'm trying to update more often. I promise that on my other books, I will publish WAY more often. And speaking of other books, which one of my books should I start mainly writing next? It could be one of my books that I have published already, or maybe even the new book idea I have.
