Hey I know it's been awhile but here is chapter 5!! Yay!!!! Also this will be taking place after school so it's a time skip! Enjoy XD

Chapter 5

Tapping her foot Kiera looked around anxiously for her friends to show up. Classes for the day had ended and everyone was on their way home.

"Hey Kiera!" The yell came from the direction of the school. "Wait up!"

Katie and Maroon breathed heavily as they stopped a few meters in front of the wolf.

"Oh, hey guys what took you so long?" her tone had picked up on a taunting edge.

"We don't... run like... you, you...daughter of a bitch." Maroon panted out.

"Well to be fair, my mother isn't full wolf so, technically she's not really a bitch." Kiera gave a broad smile.

"Oh come on!" Katie intervened the conversation, placing a hand on both females' heads to get them to shut up. "Both of you stop being childish and actually get on the fucking bus." Katie growled her shoulders tense.

"What's going on with her?" Kiera looked at her best friend.

"How am I supposed to know? She's your girlfriend." Maroon shrugged and followed suit after the agitated jaguar.

"Not cool." Kiera mumbled before following.

After picking up middle schoolers

"Hey, what's wrong?" Kiera placed a hand on Katie's thigh.

"Nothing." Her answer short and curt.

"I don't believe you. Don't make me have to make this uncomfortable for you." Kiera, true to her word slid closer to Katie and was almost on top of her.

"I said nothing!" Katie tried pushing the wolf away but was unsuccessful and had a light pink shade across her face.

"Right and the sky changed colors to bright green." Placing one leg on top of the jaguar's lap and promptly placing her head on her shoulder, make a point of that she wasn't moving.

Sighing Katie caved and turned to the persistent wolf. "I honestly can't stop thinking of Ryan. I mean what he said to me was weird."

The wolf moved her leg and shifted so that she was facing the jaguar. "Don't take what he said seriously he's trying to frighten you out of the idea of actually becoming one of us."

"One of you?" The blonde raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah a wolf and part of the pack. You'll understand later. But is that what was really bothering you? Ryan Edgard." Kiera grabbed her hand.

"B-but I-I'm a jaguar and then what?" Confusion was written all over her face but of course that was the most perfect time for Jade to input her two cents.

"SO you finally did it. Good job, although Father won't be the least bit happy with you." Jade popped her head over the seat.

"Well he's going to have to deal with it considering the future of the pack is resting in my paws." The young pup looked doubtful at the next leader of the pack.

"Wait, your father doesn't like the idea in the first place?!?! And just when I was hoping to somewhat fit in with the pack." The jaguar sighed. "Why aren't wolves normal?"

"We aren't the weirdest animals, I mean come on, look at dolphins!" Jade piped up again, earning herself a smack on the head by her brother.

"Jade you're not helping. Anyway why isn't the bus going?" Kiera looked down the aisle. "Excuse me why aren't we moving?"

"How should I know I'm more worried about what Ryan Edgard will think about my new hair style I plan on getting." The red head lifted her nose and huffed at Kiera.

"Good luck with that. He doesn't have the eyes for anyone other than another senior with brown hair." Kiera shot an innocent look at her.

"Like hell you would know what he looks for in a girl considering that you fucking come to school in a dirty white tank top with tattered jeans and cowboy boots. Oh and the fact that your hair is ALWAYS greasy. Greaser, yeah that'll be your new nickname alright." The red head placed a finger on her chin. "Yes, Greaser it fits you well."

"Okay if you want to call me Greaser than I guess that I'll have to come up with one for you. How about... Oh I know! Princess of sucking dick and anything else to tie yourself over until you have a dildo so far up your ass that you can wattle around like a penguin. (Sorry for a somewhat 50% off reference XD) Sound good to you?" Kiera held out her hand as if they were long term friends.

The red head gave the wolf a dirty look and then slapped her hand away. "This conversation is over." Keira sat back in her spot while her friends gave her weird looks.

"What?" Maroon shrugged and went back to drawing on her iPad.

"Please tell me that I didn't just hear that sentence come out of your mouth." Katie placed her hand over her eyes.

"Well to be fair she kinda started it." Kiera rubbed the back of her head sheepishly.

"I don't care! You shouldn't have continued it!" Katie tried another glare but it was so sad that it turned into a pout.

"Alright, I'm sorry I'll make it up to you later I promise. And it looks like we're actually moving now so our stop is soon." Kiera slumped against the seat. "I really wish I took my truck this morning."

The bus carried for a few minutes longer before it's brakes squealed in agony. Taking their things, the small bunch of students walked down the rows of seats and stepped off the bus onto the side of the unpaved road. The twins ran ahead while the three high school students simply wondered and let the wolf lead them to her den.

"So this is the house it's not really special but it's what we call home." The house was a soft blue color with an archway leading to the oak front door.

"I'm home!" As if on que the two youngest cubs came racing down the princess staircase, and tackling the burette in a giant bear hug.

"Hi Kiera! Your back! Come and play with us!!!" The male was pulling on her left arm.

"Yes Jay, we'll play a little later. I promise." The boy pouted.

"You promised yesterday and you didn't do it." The female cub stepped into the argument and added:

"She was busy you butt face! Besides it's my turn to play with her." Katie and Maroon were chuckling at the sight and weren't going to lend a hand to help.

"Emma where did you hear that insult? And I have to talk to father before I can play but I'll make it up to both of you." Kiera paused, she had both of the pups' attention. "If you decide on a game you both want to play I'll sneak you guys a special treat."

"Okay! But if you break this promise then we get your dessert for two weeks!" The pups scampered away as Kiera got up.

"It's easy to see that you're good with kids." Katie intertwined her fingers with Kiera's.

"I have to be if I want to rule the pack one day. Come on I'll introduce you to Father!" The wolf pulled the jaguar into the kitchen with the fox following behind.
